Eurostar announces new CEO
On 12th of March Mike Cooper (UK) will become the new CEO at Eurostar, the company providing the high-speed train connection between the European continent and the United Kingdom. Cooper, who is in his fifties, is still CEO of delivery service Yodel.
He is experienced in the transport business: he previously worked for transport company Arriva, where he was responsible for the European continent, and also was commercial director at airline company easyJet. Mike Cooper will replace Nicolas Petrovic (FR) who will become general manager of technology group Siemens in France.
Belgian railroad company NMBS/SNCB has a 5% share in Eurostar.
