Modalizy launches first Mobility Budget ready card
Modalizy, young start-up part of the Octa+ Group, launches the first card designed for the Federal Mobility Budget. This prepaid card will allow the employee to pay for all his mobility needs with his freed up budget. Processing travel expenses becomes child’s play.
After the introduction of the Mobility Budget, companies are rushing on the new opportunities. Modalizy, part of the Octa+ Group, claims to be the first to get there with its new prepaid card.
Simplifying the Mobility Budget
“The idea is to allow the car user to make the most relevant choice depending on his or her needs”, explains Modalizy CEO, Étienne Rigo. The card gives access to a specifically designed app. Thanks to GPS data, it finds all mobility service points and presents them to the user depending on his criteria.
The Modalizy card allows the user to pay for all mobility solutions from public transport to shared scooters or bicycles and car parking garages. The young start-up aims at promoting soft mobility by offering employers the best solution to group all expenses on one single invoice.
Reducing carbon footprint
The Mobility Budget is still quite new. Some companies have yet to understand how the new federal incentive works in detail. Often, they don’t know how to offer intelligent mobility solutions to their employees and, by doing this, reduce their carbon footprint.
“Modalizy is the ideal partner for companies”, adds the CEO. The card, however, will continue to evolve. New tools will soon become available. “We are responding to all royal decrees since the beginning of the month. No contracts have been signed yet, but all mechanisms are in place. It’s just a matter of days”, ends Étienne Rigo.
