Loss of millions for Cowboy bikes
Start-up bright heads
Three famous characters from the Belgian start-up world started Cowboy: Adrien Roose, Karim Slaoui, and Tanguy Goretti. Roose and Slaoui used to be CEO and director at meal delivery service, Take Eat Easy, later out-competed by Deliveroo. Goretti co-founded the ride-sharing service, Djump, which the French company Chauffeur Privé took over in 2015.
Earlier this week, Cowboy enlisted Jeremy Le Van, founder of the agenda app, Sunrise. He will become responsible for product and software development at Cowboy. The Brussels-based Le Van sold his app in 2015. Microsoft paid 100 million dollars and integrated it into Outlook.
