Ginion Group importer of Touring Superleggera
Touring Superleggera, one of the legendary Italian ‘Carrozzeria’, born in 1926, has appointed the Ginion group as its importer for Belgium and Luxembourg.
The Touring Sciàdipersia Cabriolet (world premiere in Geneva last year) will be exhibited in the Dream Car hall of the Brussels Motor Show (10th to 19th of January) to celebrate this new relationship.
“Belgium and Luxemburg are known for their passionate car lovers. They merit to be assisted and informed closely,” says Piero Mancardi, CEO of Touring Superleggera. “Ginion Group has an excellent reputation, and deep knowledge of the special clientele involved, that’s why we see them as the ideal partner.”
As said, Touring Superleggera is a veteran Italian design studio, and coachbuilder since 1926, but it has been in a sleeping modus for a long time. It was only this last decade that it came back in business, creating some inspiring designs and exclusive one-offs under the creative lead of the Belgian Louis De Fabribeckers.
Last in the row is the Sciàdipersia, existing as Coupe and Cabriolet. It’s made as a ‘fuori serie’, a very limited number of 15 units, to be sold in the high-end luxury market.
That’s the way Touring Superleggera wants to make its living in the future, delivering cars with a design and a personality one can’t find anywhere else, also because the future customer has his say in it.
The Belgian importer, Ginion Group, is a notorious car group in Belgium. The group is a dealer for BMW, Mini, Volvo, and Ferrari, but also the importer for Belgium and Luxembourg of exclusive names as Rolls-Royce, McLaren Automotive, Automobili Pininfarina, and thus now also Touring Superleggera.
In 2019, the group sold almost 5.000 vehicles for a turnover of nearly 200 million euros. It employs 280 people all over its different dealerships. “At Ginion, we are driven by ultramodern technology, but also by passionate craftsmanship,” says Stéphane Sertang, CEO of Ginion. “These are the defining elements of all our products.”
