Mitsubishi Motors goes for online sales in Belgium
Since Wednesday the 10th of June, one can order a Mitsubishi online in Belgium. Mitsubishi Importer Beherman has given the green light and has worked out a site to buy the products of this Japanese car manufacturer online.
With the corona crisis, the trend of online shopping has definitely got stronger. In all kinds of business, people are looking at how they can also get one’s share. Especially the car business has difficulties restarting after corona, so every help is welcome.
The key factor is the user-friendliness of the tool for the customer. At Beherman, they’ve tried to design a site where the interested customer can easily choose a car, order the car of his choice, and immediately pay a reservation fee online.
After that, the nearest dealer (which the customer has, of course, the right to choose) comes into action. He will be following up on the order, sees if the client has other wishes, and informs him about the delivery date and how the delivery will take place.
To attract people to the new site, the importer has put a number of interesting cars in stock on the site, with price reductions up to €7 000. At the same time, the stock load due to the corona crisis can be diminished.
Mitsubishi is one of the pioneering brands in Belgium, where you can order your car now completely online. Predecessors were, of course, Tesla, and more recently, Polestar, Volvo, and the entire PSA group (Citroën, DS, Opel, and Peugeot).
For sure, others will follow. Almost all car sellers already have elaborated configurators on their sites, but you cannot actually buy the car everywhere yet. In the multi-brand retail business, car retailer Cardoen is offering a comparable service where the purchased (stock) car is even delivered at home.
