1,150 Teslas set light show world record in Belgium

Exactly 1,150 Tesla cars smashed the world record ‘Tesla Light Show’ on Sunday evening, February 23rd, 2025. At 7 p.m., the cars put on an impressive show with light and sound in Brustem (Sint-Truiden, Limburg) – the largest synchronized Tesla light show ever. The Droneport runway in Brustem provided the backdrop for the world record attempt.

The intention was to perform a unique light and sound show with as many Teslas as possible, supported by drones. Each car received a USB stick so the driver knew which lights and sounds to turn on.

Previous record in South Korea

The previous world record was set in South Korea, with 952 Teslas. Finland holds the European record, with 902 Teslas. For the event in Brustem, the organizers received 1,358 registrations, enough to break the existing record. Finally, 1,150 participants showed up – more than in South Korea.

Participants and visitors could marvel at the 10-minute light show, put together by British light artist Simon Pollock.
