Flandria organizes ‘Oosterweel Cruises’ in Antwerp

The Antwerp shipping company, Flandria, has a new attraction: the Oosterweel Cruise. From April 12th, the Easter holidays, tourists can register for a boat trip along the Oosterweel works, often called “the largest road project of the century.”

The tour lasts three hours, and visitors are guided via the Asiadok and the Royersluis to the ‘Havenhuis.’ The trip continues via the channel zone, along the Sportpaleis – now Afas Dome – and to the bypass.

The shipping company has developed three formulas. First and foremost, there is the public Oosterweel Cruise. The second formula is the ‘deluxe’ Oosterweel Cruise for companies, groups, or associations, also under the guidance of a guide.

Renting a ship entirely privately is also possible. Then you decide on the date and time and a suitable catering formula.
