Skoda is doubling down on the performance EV segment with the refreshed Enyaq RS and Enyaq Coupé RS, which now complete the Czech automaker’s facelifted Enyaq lineup.
Featuring sharper styling, enhanced performance, and upgraded tech, the RS variants target buyers looking for electric SUVs with a sportier edge without compromising the brand’s notorious everyday usability.
First unveiled earlier this year, the 2025 Enyaq family marked a significant design shift under Skoda’s ‘Modern Solid’ philosophy. The RS versions now inherit those changes, with distinctive front-end styling, a more aggressive rear treatment, and RS-specific black exterior accents.
Exclusive Mamba Green
Further notable design tweaks include a sleeker closed grille, more aerodynamic bumpers, and a light signature shared with the smaller Elroq. A full-width rear reflector, black Skoda lettering, and the exclusive Mamba Green paint distinguish the RS trim from the less hyperkinetic versions.
Under the skin, the SUV and Coupé RS variants have a dual-motor all-wheel-drive system producing 340 hp (250 kW) and 679 Nm of torque. That setup propels the vehicles from 0 to 100 km/hour in just 5.4 seconds – one second quicker than the previous iteration.
Autbahn speeds remain limited (180 km/h) to prevent the battery from draining too quickly. But for the backroads, the Skoda engineers have improved the handling credentials with a 15 mm front and 10 mm rear drop in ride height. They also recalibrated the dampers via adaptive chassis control and installed beefier front brakes with twin-piston calipers.
Also faster charging
Powering the new RS duo is a larger 84 kWh battery pack (usable: 79 kWh), up from the previous 82 kWh configuration. The increased capacity, coupled with improved aerodynamics, results in a WLTP-rated range of up to 562 kilometers for the SUV and 568 kilometers for the more streamlined Coupé. Both models support up to 185 kW DC fast charging, enabling a 10-80% charge in just 26 minutes. AC charging remains capped at 11 kW.
Inside, the RS models share the latest interior architecture seen in the rest of the Enyaq range. They are headlined by a 13-inch touchscreen infotainment system, a 5-inch digital cluster, and an optional augmented-reality head-up display.
Two themes have upgraded the interior RS Suite, which combines real and artificial leather with gray stitching, and RS Lounge, which adds microsuede and lime green accents for a more dynamic feel. All models feature sports seats with integrated headrests and massage functionality for the driver.
The 2025 Enyaq RS is a decisive generational jump rather than a mild facelift. A 14% power hike, a 47% torque swell, and a full-second cut in the sprint time push the RS from ‘brisk’ to genuinely quick, yet the larger battery and slicker aerodynamics stretch real-world range by almost 40 kilometers. First units are expected to hit the showrooms next month.
Lastly, the good news. Pricing for the regular Enyaq RS is down by €1,055 (€69,990) compared to the outgoing model. The Coupe roughly rests at a status quo: €73,315.
