The Antwerp car servicing group Beerens breathes new life into the former Opel plant at the Noorderlaan with a new site for its Belcar daughter to prepare some 100 000 new and second-hand leased cars a year for the market. Announced in February 2021, the site is reopening on Thursday after renovation, which included 20 000 square meters of green roofs.<\/p>

Founder Erwin Beerens (52) hopes to find the 500 people he'll need to accomplish that in his new venue, which will be as big as the current headquarters of what's now called 'Belcar South' in Aartselaar, which faces a lack of space.<\/span><\/span><\/span><\/span><\/span><\/p>
