Michelin and the French postal services are partnering for a two-year test of airless tires<\/a>. A European-first, forty yellow \u2018La Poste\u2019 vans will be equipped with Michelin Utips tires by the end of 2024 in the Hauts-de-France region.<\/p>

Currently, this is the only airless tire being used on open public roads in Europe. With that, \u2018La Poste\u2019 aims at ensuring better continuity of services and eliminating issues with punctures and underinflation. A similar test was started in Singapore at the beginning of the year in collaboration with DHL.<\/p>
