That should improve the company’s competitiveness, Forvia says, and generate half a billion euros in yearly savings. Although the company, formed from the merger of Nanterre-based Faurecia and German Hella, has returned to profitability, it continues to carry heavy debts.Forvia operates in several European countries with over 75,000 employees across 133 plants in France, Germany, Poland, the Czech Republic, and Spain.
