After showing its expanded electric GT line-up at the Brussels Motor Show 2026, Kia now officially launches the sportier versions of the EV3, EV4 and EV5.<\/p>\n

Kia wants to tailor to all needs with its electric vehicle line-up, from compact affordable cars like the EV2 and vans like the PV5 to big SUV\u2019s like the EV9. But the South Korean manufacturer also wants those who like performance cars to fall for its sportier GT line-up of electric cars.<\/p>\n

C-segment GT\u2019s<\/b><\/h4>\n

After the EV6 GT and the EV9 GT, Kia is nog expanding its GT offering into the electric C-segment. In doing this, it wants to \u201cmake electric performance cars available to a wider audience\u201d. The EV3 GT, EV4 GT and EV5 GT all get high-powered dual motor four-wheel drive, technology to improve handling and driving feel, and new digital functions.<\/p>\n

The new versions may get a sportier character and looks that fit the bill inside and out, but the GT treatment also bumps up their price tag. In belgium, prices start at \u20ac59.190 for the Kia EV3 GT, \u20ac 60.190 for the EV4 GT and \u20ac 60.990 for the EV5 GT.<\/p>\n

Two distinct drivelines<\/b><\/h4>\n

\"\"<\/p>\n

The EV3 GT and EV4 GT both get a 215 kW (292 hp) driveline with an electric motor on both the front and rear axle, providing four-wheel drive and a torque figure of 458 Nm. This makes the EV3 GT accellerate from 0 to 100 km\/h in 5,7 seconds, while the EV4 GT is a tenth of a second faster (5,6 seconds). The WLTP range is 540 km for the EV3 and of 505 km for the EV4. A 22 kW charger is a new feature for the EV3 and EV4 lines.<\/p>\n

The EV5 GT SUV gets a 225 kW (306 hp) and 480 Nm dual-engine set-up for a 0-100 km\/h sprint in 6,2 seconds. The quoted WLTP figure is 476 km on a full charge.<\/p>\n

GT treatment<\/b><\/h4>\n

Kia\u2019s GT line-up is not only about looks and power, the manufacturer also worked on the chassis. The springs and anti-rollbar were stiffened up, and electronically controlled dampers fitted, using a camera system to predict the road surface condition ahead.<\/p>\n

Uprated brakes, three different drive modes, including a GT mode, more direct steering and a more dynamic stability control are also part of the GT treatment.<\/p>\n

Last but not least, there are also new elements on the technological front. They include Electric Dynamic Torque Vectoring Control, a virtual shifting system which imitates a gearbox, a specific sound signature and GT-specific interface.<\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"
