En 2024, 127 922 nouveaux VE ont \u00e9t\u00e9 immatricul\u00e9s en Belgique et au Luxembourg, soit 37,3% de plus que l'ann\u00e9e pr\u00e9c\u00e9dente et un nouveau record. Les acheteurs individuels ont plus que doubl\u00e9 leurs achats de VE : +104,7%. Sur le march\u00e9 de l'occasion, cependant, l'offre exc\u00e9dentaire de VE se traduit par des valeurs r\u00e9siduelles trop faibles.<\/p>

Filip Rylant, spokesperson of sector federation Traxio, says, \"The European EV market is severely under pressure, but on the Belgian market, all records were broken in 2024.\" The market share for newly registered EVs in Belgium reached an all-time high of 28.5%. Although the second-hand market also grew by 45.2%, the numbers are still relatively small and represent only 3.2% of the entire (booming) market.
