Le Salon de Gen\u00e8ve disparaissant, le jury de la Voiture europ\u00e9enne de l'ann\u00e9e (COTY) a de nouveau d\u00e9cid\u00e9 d'annoncer le laur\u00e9at au Salon de Bruxelles, comme il l'avait fait en 2023.<\/p>

Cette ann\u00e9e, ce n\u2019\u00e9taient pas sept, mais huit voitures finalistes que les 60 membres du jury, tous journalistes automobiles europ\u00e9ens issus de 23 pays, devaient \u00e9valuer. 42 mod\u00e8les diff\u00e9rents \u00e9taient en lice pour l\u2019\u00e9lection de 2025, et parmi eux, le jury devait s\u00e9lectionner 7 finalistes. Comme indiqu\u00e9, il y a huit voitures cette ann\u00e9e, car le jury a estim\u00e9 qu\u2019il n\u2019y avait pas suffisamment de diff\u00e9rence entre la Renault 5 \u00e9lectrique et sa cousine plus sportive, l\u2019A290, pour n\u2019en choisir qu\u2019une seule.
