Selon Ursula von der Leyen, pr\u00e9sidente de la Commission europ\u00e9enne, Bruxelles pourrait affaiblir l'objectif de r\u00e9duction des \u00e9missions de CO2 fix\u00e9 pour les constructeurs automobiles en 2025. Elle laisse \u00e9galement entrevoir la possibilit\u00e9 d'une nouvelle subvention pour les batteries. Elle a expliqu\u00e9 qu'elle souhaitait que les constructeurs atteignent l'objectif en mati\u00e8re de CO2 au cours des trois prochaines ann\u00e9es et non cette ann\u00e9e, comme pr\u00e9vu initialement, \u00e0 condition que le Parlement et les \u00c9tats membres soient d'accord.<\/p>

Depuis un certain temps d\u00e9j\u00e0, certains demandent que les limites de CO2 pour les flottes soient affaiblies afin d'\u00e9pargner aux constructeurs automobiles, qui sont sous pression \u00e9conomique, des amendes qui pourraient se chiffrer en milliards s'ils ne respectent pas les objectifs.
