M\u00eame la GTI, plus puissante, a \u00e9t\u00e9 d\u00e9voil\u00e9e lors de ce qui semble \u00eatre une pr\u00e9sentation interne \u00e0 Wolfsburg. L'int\u00e9rieur et l'arri\u00e8re de la voiture n'ont pas \u00e9t\u00e9 d\u00e9voil\u00e9s.<\/p>\n<p>Les photos r\u00e9v\u00e8lent ce que les versions camoufl\u00e9es (d\u00e9filement vers le bas) laissaient d\u00e9j\u00e0 entrevoir. La Polo \u00e9lectrique n'a pas besoin d'un design audacieux. Le nouveau directeur du design du groupe VW, Andreas Mindt, a pr\u00e9sent\u00e9 une citadine aux lignes conventionnelles, en accord avec les valeurs h\u00e9rit\u00e9es de la marque.<\/p>\n<p>Le polo ID. Polo marque la fin du style bulbeux de l'ID et introduit un retour \u00e0 la familiarit\u00e9. M\u00eame la GTI rouge reste discr\u00e8te et ne pr\u00e9sente gu\u00e8re de diff\u00e9rences majeures au niveau de l'apparence. Volkswagen joue-t-il la carte de la s\u00e9curit\u00e9 ? L'adoption par les clients le dira.<\/p>\n<h4>Quatre transmissions, deux batteries<\/h4>\n<p>Lors d'un \u00e9v\u00e9nement \u2018Covered Drive\u2019, Volkswagen a d\u00e9j\u00e0 r\u00e9v\u00e9l\u00e9 des d\u00e9tails techniques concrets sur le groupe motopropulseur, des informations qui manquaient lors de la pr\u00e9sentation de la nouvelle g\u00e9n\u00e9ration de v\u00e9hicules. <a href=\"https:\/\/newmobility.news\/fr\/2025\/09\/04\/vws-id-2all-concept-will-become-id-polo\/\">Premi\u00e8re \u00e0 l'IAA en septembre.<\/a><\/p>\n<p>Alors que l'on savait d\u00e9j\u00e0 que les versions haut de gamme de la VW et de ses mod\u00e8les apparent\u00e9s de Cupra et \u0160koda d\u00e9velopperaient 166 kW, Volkswagen \u00e9tait rest\u00e9 discret quant \u00e0 la variante de base, le mod\u00e8le tant attendu \u00e0 25 000 \u20ac.<\/p>\n<p>L'ID.Polo sera disponible en quatre variantes de transmission. La plus petite batterie sera propos\u00e9e avec des puissances de 85 ou 99 kW, tandis que la plus grande batterie sera disponible avec 155 ou 166 kW. Volkswagen commercialisera la version de 166 kW sous le nom d'ID.Polo GTI.<\/p>\n<p>Dans toutes les variantes, le moteur est le APP290, explicitement d\u00e9velopp\u00e9 pour les mod\u00e8les \u00e0 traction avant, qui, selon la convention d'appellation de Volkswagen, fournit un couple de 290 Nm.<\/p>\n<p>Autre nouveaut\u00e9 : l'onduleur, que Volkswagen appelle \u2018onduleur \u00e0 impulsions\u2019. Selon les donn\u00e9es pr\u00e9liminaires, cela devrait permettre d'atteindre une autonomie WLTP pouvant atteindre 300 kilom\u00e8tres. Les chiffres exacts seront probablement disponibles au d\u00e9but de la pr\u00e9vente, pr\u00e9vue pour avril 2026.<\/p>\n<p>Selon Volkswagen, la puissance de charge maximale de la batterie LFP est de 90 kW, avec un temps de charge d'environ 27 minutes pour une charge de 10 \u00e0 80 %. La batterie NMC (nickel-mangan\u00e8se-cobalt), con\u00e7ue pour une autonomie de 450 kilom\u00e8tres, a une capacit\u00e9 \u00e9nerg\u00e9tique nette de 52 kWh. Il s'agit d'une cellule prismatique de taille uniforme qui peut \u00eatre remplie avec diff\u00e9rentes compositions chimiques adapt\u00e9es au v\u00e9hicule sp\u00e9cifique. Les cellules unifi\u00e9es sont int\u00e9gr\u00e9es dans le soubassement selon le principe \u00ab cell-to-pack \u00bb, \u00e9liminant ainsi le niveau modulaire que l'on trouve dans d'autres v\u00e9hicules MEB.<\/p>\n<p>Selon le constructeur automobile, cela permettra de r\u00e9duire les co\u00fbts, l'espace d'installation et le poids, d'am\u00e9liorer l'efficacit\u00e9 de la gestion thermique et d'augmenter la densit\u00e9 \u00e9nerg\u00e9tique d'environ 10%.<\/p>\n<h4>Plateforme MEB+ FWD, nouveau ch\u00e2ssis<\/h4>\n<p>La plate-forme \u00e0 traction avant de la MEB \u00e9tant nouvelle, le ch\u00e2ssis a d\u00fb \u00eatre d\u00e9velopp\u00e9 \u00e0 partir de z\u00e9ro, ce qui a permis de l'adapter pr\u00e9cis\u00e9ment \u00e0 l'ID. Polo. Cependant, le co\u00fbt, l'espace et l'efficacit\u00e9 du poids ont \u00e9t\u00e9 prioritaires.<\/p>\n<p>L'ID. De plus, la traction avant \u00e9lectrique \u00e0 bord de l'ID.Polo offre des avantages \u00e9vidents en termes d'espace\u201d, ajoute le constructeur automobile. Gr\u00e2ce au concept de traction avant, l'ID.Polo offre de la place pour cinq personnes et 435 litres de bagages, souligne le communiqu\u00e9 de presse.<\/p>\n<h4>Pas plus grand<\/h4>\n<p>La ID. Polo est presque exactement de la m\u00eame taille que la Polo actuelle \u00e0 moteur \u00e0 combustion interne, mais offre 19 millim\u00e8tres d'espace int\u00e9rieur en plus. Le coffre est \u00e9galement plus grand : la version \u00e0 combustion offre jusqu'\u00e0 351 litres d'espace de chargement.<\/p>\n<p>\u201cGr\u00e2ce \u00e0 cet espace suppl\u00e9mentaire, la ID.Polo quatre portes et cinq places est d\u00e9sormais plus polyvalente que n'importe laquelle de ses pr\u00e9d\u00e9cesseurs, sp\u00e9cialis\u00e9e dans les environnements urbains mais \u00e9galement \u00e0 l'aise bien au-del\u00e0 des limites de la ville\u201d, ajoute fi\u00e8rement Volkswagen. Polo GTI se distinguera du mod\u00e8le standard par ses pare-chocs plus sportifs et les dimensions de l'ID.Polo sont connues depuis l'IAA : le mod\u00e8le mesure 4,05 m de long avec un empattement de 2,60 m, 1,82 m de large et 1,53 m de haut.<\/p>\n<p>Les poids \u00e0 vide ont \u00e9t\u00e9 r\u00e9cemment d\u00e9voil\u00e9s : avec la batterie de 37 kWh, il p\u00e8se 1 512 kg, et avec la batterie de 52 kWh, 1 515 kg. Cela signifie que le poids suppl\u00e9mentaire de la Polo \u00e9lectrique par rapport \u00e0 la variante ICE actuelle est d'environ 400 kg pour les variantes de base et de seulement 200 kg pour la GTI.<\/p>\n<h4>Pr\u00e9ventes en avril 2026<\/h4>\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">Selon Wolfsburg, \u201c chaque d\u00e9tail de l'int\u00e9rieur a \u00e9t\u00e9 enti\u00e8rement repens\u00e9 et redessin\u00e9 \u201d. Parmi les caract\u00e9ristiques mises en avant, on peut citer \u201c l'interaction ergonomique entre les commandes num\u00e9riques et physiques, ainsi que l'architecture horizontale du tableau de bord \u201d. Le cockpit num\u00e9rique se compose d'un \u00e9cran de 10,25 pouces, tandis qu'un \u00e9cran tactile de 13 pouces d\u00e9di\u00e9 \u00e0 l'infodivertissement est plac\u00e9 au centre.<\/p>\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">Volkswagen n'a pas encore confirm\u00e9 si les quatre variantes de transmission seront disponibles d\u00e8s le d\u00e9but des pr\u00e9ventes en avril 2026. Lors d'une interview avec Auto Motor und Sport<em>, <\/em>Sch\u00e4fer a expliqu\u00e9 que \u201c proposer de nouveaux mod\u00e8les \u00e0 essence dans la cat\u00e9gorie Polo et inf\u00e9rieure n'a aucun sens au vu des futures r\u00e9glementations en mati\u00e8re d'\u00e9missions \u201d.\u201d<\/p>\n<p>\u201c L'avenir dans ce segment est \u00e9lectrique \u201d, a insist\u00e9 M. Sch\u00e4fer, ajoutant que les nouvelles voitures \u00e0 essence seraient \u201c trop ch\u00e8res \u201d et n'auraient aucun sens.<\/p>\n<p>Quant aux voitures \u00e0 hydrog\u00e8ne, M. Sch\u00e4fer les a qualifi\u00e9es de \u201c faux d\u00e9bat \u201d pour le segment des volumes. \u201c Il n'y a tout simplement pas assez d'hydrog\u00e8ne vert, la pile \u00e0 combustible est beaucoup trop ch\u00e8re et la technologie n'est pas efficace non plus \u201d, a-t-il d\u00e9clar\u00e9.<\/p>\n<p>\u201c La seule fa\u00e7on de d\u00e9carboniser rapidement les voitures grand public est de passer \u00e0 la propulsion \u00e9lectrique \u201d, selon Sch\u00e4fer. L'ID.Polo marque le d\u00e9but d'une nouvelle g\u00e9n\u00e9ration de Volkswagen en tant que premier v\u00e9hicule \u00e9lectrique \u00e0 porter un nom de marque \u00e9tabli.<\/p>\n<p>Ces d\u00e9clarations du patron de VW contrastent fortement avec l'enthousiasme avec lequel le constructeur a r\u00e9agi \u00e0 la d\u00e9cision (non encore valid\u00e9e) de la Commission europ\u00e9enne de reporter l'interdiction du moteur \u00e0 combustion interne en Europe en 2035.<\/p>\n<p>Nous voyons maintenant de nombreux constructeurs europ\u00e9ens souffler le chaud et le froid sur la d\u00e9cision, laissant les consommateurs avec encore plus de doutes et d'h\u00e9sitations sur ce qu'ils doivent acheter.
