Le g\u00e9ant chinois des batteries CATL et le constructeur automobile BMW ont l'intention d'approfondir leur partenariat. Dans une nouvelle lettre d'intention, l'accent est mis sur l'\u00e9change de donn\u00e9es : Les deux parties ont l'intention de progresser dans le transfert transfrontalier de donn\u00e9es par le biais de projets pilotes, en gardant \u00e0 l'esprit les exigences futures du passeport de la batterie dans l'UE.<\/p>\n

BMW et CATL ont sign\u00e9 un protocole d'accord en Chine \u00e0 l'occasion de la visite du chancelier allemand Olaf Scholz, qui \u00e9tait accompagn\u00e9 d'une d\u00e9l\u00e9gation d'entreprises allemandes de haut niveau.<\/p>\n

Partenaires de longue date<\/h4>\n

Selon un communiqu\u00e9 du CATL, la d\u00e9claration d'intention vise \u00e0 lancer des projets pilotes pour l'\u00e9change de donn\u00e9es fiables dans le cadre du passeport de la batterie. Elle vise \u00e9galement \u00e0 explorer des m\u00e9thodes de comptabilisation du CO\u2082 et des outils innovants pour calculer l'empreinte carbone des batteries.<\/p>\n

CATL se pr\u00e9pare \u00e0 ces nouvelles r\u00e9glementations, car le fabricant chinois de batteries fournit de nombreux constructeurs automobiles europ\u00e9ens, dont BMW.<\/p>\n

Les deux entreprises entretiennent un partenariat strat\u00e9gique depuis 2012, qui s'est depuis \u00e9tendu \u00e0 la production de batteries, \u00e0 la recherche et au d\u00e9veloppement conjoints et aux cha\u00eenes d'approvisionnement durables. Selon CATL, la nouvelle d\u00e9claration d'intention permettra d'\u00e9tendre le partenariat de la coop\u00e9ration sur les produits \u00e0 un alignement institutionnel plus large.<\/p>\n

\u201cGr\u00e2ce \u00e0 une coop\u00e9ration approfondie sur les produits et les cha\u00eenes d'approvisionnement, les deux parties am\u00e9lioreront encore leur gestion num\u00e9rique et leurs capacit\u00e9s d'\u00e9change, renfor\u00e7ant ainsi continuellement la conformit\u00e9 avec les r\u00e9glementations d'acc\u00e8s au march\u00e9 de l'UE et stimulant la comp\u00e9titivit\u00e9 verte et \u00e0 faible \u00e9mission de carbone de leurs produits\u201d, d\u00e9clare CATL.<\/p>\n

Projets pilotes<\/h4>\n

Les projets pilotes utiliseront l'\u00e9cosyst\u00e8me de donn\u00e9es ouvertes Catena-X pour l'industrie automobile \u201cafin de soutenir l'alignement des normes techniques, de promouvoir des cadres politiques coh\u00e9rents et fond\u00e9s sur la science, et de favoriser la stabilit\u00e9 industrielle \u00e0 long terme\u201d, comme l'a d\u00e9clar\u00e9 le fabricant chinois de batteries.<\/p>\n

L'objectif est de \u201cmener des pratiques innovantes pour la conformit\u00e9 r\u00e9glementaire Chine-UE, et d'encourager conjointement la d\u00e9monstration et l'adoption plus large de normes mondiales en mati\u00e8re d'informations et de donn\u00e9es sur les batteries\u201d.\u201d<\/p>\n

Passeport obligatoire en 2027<\/h4>\n

Dans la pratique, il s'agit avant tout d'assurer une transition en douceur lorsque le passeport de batterie de l'UE deviendra obligatoire. Ces passeports seront exig\u00e9s dans l'UE \u00e0 partir de 2027. Cela fait suite \u00e0 l'adoption par l'Union europ\u00e9enne d'un nouveau r\u00e8glement pour le march\u00e9 des batteries en ao\u00fbt 2023.<\/p>\n

Parmi les principaux aspects du r\u00e8glement figurent les d\u00e9clarations et l'\u00e9tiquetage obligatoires, notamment en ce qui concerne les composants des piles et le contenu recycl\u00e9, ainsi que l'introduction d'un \u2018passeport de pile\u2019 \u00e9lectronique et d'un code QR.<\/p>\n

Afin de donner aux \u00c9tats membres et aux acteurs du march\u00e9 suffisamment de temps pour se pr\u00e9parer, les exigences en mati\u00e8re d'\u00e9tiquetage sont en vigueur depuis cette ann\u00e9e, tandis que le passeport et le code QR deviendront obligatoires en 2027.<\/p>\n
