L'\u00e9cran panoramique Hyperscreen, la carrosserie glissante Cd 0,20 et l'autonomie la plus \u00e9lev\u00e9e de sa cat\u00e9gorie constituaient un ensemble convaincant. Mais le paysage des VE \u00e9volue \u00e0 une vitesse fulgurante. Mercedes a donc r\u00e9agi en proc\u00e9dant \u00e0 une refonte technique compl\u00e8te qui a permis \u00e0 son mod\u00e8le phare, l'EQS, de reprendre la t\u00eate du peloton.<\/p>\n<p>La principale am\u00e9lioration se trouve sous le plancher. La plateforme EVA2 r\u00e9vis\u00e9e fonctionne d\u00e9sormais sous 800 volts, contre 400 V auparavant, ce qui porte la capacit\u00e9 de charge en courant continu \u00e0 350 kW. Cela se traduit par environ 320 kilom\u00e8tres WLTP r\u00e9cup\u00e9r\u00e9s en seulement dix minutes sur un chargeur rapide compatible.<span class=\"Apple-converted-space\">\u00a0<\/span><\/p>\n<h4>La guerre des gammes raviv\u00e9e<\/h4>\n<p>Dans les stations conventionnelles de 400 V, la batterie est divis\u00e9e en deux moiti\u00e9s et recharg\u00e9e \u00e0 une puissance maximale de 175 kW. Il s'agit d'une solution technique \u00e9l\u00e9gante qui permet \u00e0 l'EQS d'\u00eatre largement utilisable dans l'infrastructure de recharge encore h\u00e9t\u00e9rog\u00e8ne de l'Europe. Les v\u00e9ritables gains se situent \u00e0 l'int\u00e9rieur des cellules : les anodes m\u00e9lang\u00e9es \u00e0 de l'oxyde de silicium am\u00e9liorent la densit\u00e9 \u00e9nerg\u00e9tique sans ajouter d'encombrement.<\/p>\n<p>Associ\u00e9e \u00e0 une nouvelle bo\u00eete de vitesses arri\u00e8re \u00e0 deux rapports (le premier rapport sert \u00e0 l'acc\u00e9l\u00e9ration rapide, le second \u00e0 la conduite frugale sur autoroute), l'autonomie WLTP de l'EQS 450+ \u00e0 propulsion arri\u00e8re est de 925 kilom\u00e8tres.<\/p>\n<p>Il s'agit d'une am\u00e9lioration de 13 % (818 km) par rapport \u00e0 son pr\u00e9d\u00e9cesseur, et c'est actuellement le chiffre officiel d'autonomie le plus \u00e9lev\u00e9 de tous les v\u00e9hicules \u00e9lectriques de s\u00e9rie sur le march\u00e9 europ\u00e9en.<\/p>\n<h4>Nouveau mod\u00e8le d'entr\u00e9e<\/h4>\n<p>Les acheteurs de v\u00e9hicules \u00e0 quatre roues motrices peuvent opter pour l'EQS 500 4Matic ou l'EQS 580 4Matic, toutes deux \u00e9quip\u00e9es d'une batterie de 122 kWh et affichant une autonomie de 876 kilom\u00e8tres selon la norme WLTP. La nouvelle EQS est disponible avec un syst\u00e8me de direction \u00e9lectrique, ce qui fait de Mercedes le premier constructeur allemand \u00e0 proposer cette technologie sur une voiture de s\u00e9rie.<span class=\"Apple-converted-space\">\u00a0<\/span><\/p>\n<p>Cela signifie que le lien m\u00e9canique entre le volant et l'essieu avant est enti\u00e8rement supprim\u00e9 et remplac\u00e9 par deux voies de signaux num\u00e9riques. En d'autres termes, le choix du client reste un \u00e9l\u00e9ment essentiel de l'offre.<\/p>\n<p><b>L'IA \u00e0 bord<\/b><\/p>\n<p>La nouvelle EQS est \u00e9galement la premi\u00e8re Mercedes \u00e0 \u00eatre enti\u00e8rement \u00e9quip\u00e9e du nouveau syst\u00e8me d'exploitation MB.OS. Cette plate-forme logicielle centralis\u00e9e g\u00e8re presque toutes les fonctions du v\u00e9hicule et permet des mises \u00e0 jour en direct tout au long de la vie de la voiture.<\/p>\n<p>L'Hyperscreen MBUX fonctionne d\u00e9sormais sous MB.OS avec un assistant IA nettement plus performant qui int\u00e8gre ChatGPT, Microsoft Bing et Google Gemini pour des requ\u00eates conversationnelles en plusieurs \u00e9tapes.<\/p>\n<p>Pour ce qui est de l'apparence, il s'agit d'une simple plaque de verre int\u00e9grant un \u00e9cran conducteur de 12,3 pouces, un \u00e9cran tactile central de 17,7 pouces et un \u00e9cran passager de 12,3 pouces. Google Maps utilise la cartographie 3D pour la navigation. Pour les calculs d'itin\u00e9raires et de recharge, il prend en compte les donn\u00e9es relatives au vent, \u00e0 l'altitude, au trafic et aux stations de recharge.<\/p>\n<p>Comme sur la Classe S et le GLS, la suspension pneumatique Airmatic est d\u00e9sormais dot\u00e9e d'un syst\u00e8me de contr\u00f4le des amortisseurs bas\u00e9 sur le cloud. Gr\u00e2ce \u00e0 la communication Car-to-X avec les autres v\u00e9hicules Mercedes, l'EQS \u2018t\u00e9l\u00e9charge\u2019 les dos d'\u00e2ne ou les nids-de-poule avant que les roues n'arrivent, et pr\u00e9ajuste les amortisseurs en cons\u00e9quence.<span class=\"Apple-converted-space\">\u00a0<\/span><\/p>\n<p>Vingt-sept capteurs alimentent l'ensemble des syst\u00e8mes d'aide \u00e0 la conduite. Le stationnement automatis\u00e9 fonctionne d\u00e9sormais jusqu'\u00e0 5 km\/h, soit le double de la vitesse pr\u00e9c\u00e9dente, et les places de stationnement en diagonale sont d\u00e9sormais prises en charge.<\/p>\n<p><b>R\u00e9chauffement des ceintures de s\u00e9curit\u00e9<\/b><\/p>\n<p>Le d\u00e9tail le plus charmant de l'habitacle est \u00e9galement emprunt\u00e9 \u00e0 la nouvelle Classe S : les ceintures de s\u00e9curit\u00e9 chauffantes, dont les fils m\u00e9talliques fins r\u00e9chauffent la sangle jusqu'\u00e0 44 degr\u00e9s Celsius, ce qui permet d'\u00e9viter les manteaux d'hiver encombrants les matins froids.<\/p>\n<p>Ext\u00e9rieurement, la refonte est discutable. Le nouveau pare-chocs avant est dot\u00e9 d'une calandre qui fait curieusement r\u00e9f\u00e9rence \u00e0 la technologie des moteurs \u00e0 combustion. \u00c0 l'arri\u00e8re, un \u00e9l\u00e9ment LED en spirale s'\u00e9tend sur toute la largeur, comme si un enfant de trois ans avait griffonn\u00e9 le motif. Cela ne doit pas cacher l'impressionnante technologie qu'il abrite.<\/p>\n<p>Le syst\u00e8me Digital Light am\u00e9liore le champ de vision de 40 % et r\u00e9duit la consommation d'\u00e9nergie de 50 %.
