C'est la fin de pr\u00e8s de huit d\u00e9cennies de construction automobile dans la r\u00e9gion capitale fran\u00e7aise. En attendant, le groupe cherche de nouvelles collaborations chinoises pour all\u00e9ger la pression de ses surcapacit\u00e9s.<\/p>\n<p>L'usine de Poissy produit actuellement deux mod\u00e8les, l'Opel Mokka et la DS3. Aucun successeur n'\u00e9tait pr\u00e9vu pour l'un ou l'autre, ce qui a aliment\u00e9 la rumeur selon laquelle Stellantis arr\u00eaterait la production sur le site. Cette crainte est aujourd'hui devenue r\u00e9alit\u00e9. Le directeur de l'usine, Eric Haan, et le responsable des ressources humaines, Xavier Chereau, ont annonc\u00e9 la nouvelle lors de la r\u00e9union du conseil d'entreprise.<span class=\"Apple-converted-space\">\u00a0<\/span><\/p>\n<h4>De l'automobile \u00e0 l'extraction de composants<\/h4>\n<p>Cependant, Stellantis n'abandonne pas le site. L'entreprise pr\u00e9voit d'investir 100 millions d'euros pour le r\u00e9affecter \u00e0 la fabrication de pi\u00e8ces de carrosserie de rechange et au recyclage de v\u00e9hicules. L'usine restera op\u00e9rationnelle, mais sous une forme fondamentalement diff\u00e9rente. Cela signifie que 1 200 emplois survivront \u00e0 la strat\u00e9gie de restructuration. Il s'agit n\u00e9anmoins d'un contraste saisissant avec les ann\u00e9es fastes o\u00f9 Poissy employait 27 000 personnes dans les ann\u00e9es soixante-dix. \u00c0 un jet de pierre de l'usine, le m\u00eame sc\u00e9nario a r\u00e9form\u00e9 Renault Flins, o\u00f9 la production de la Zo\u00e9 a \u00e9t\u00e9 remplac\u00e9e par une fabrication circulaire.<\/p>\n<p>Cette nouvelle orientation est la cons\u00e9quence directe de l'effondrement structurel de la demande automobile en Europe. Les ventes sur le continent restent inf\u00e9rieures d'environ 20% aux niveaux de 2019, le march\u00e9 europ\u00e9en au sens large se stabilisant d\u00e9sormais \u00e0 environ 13 millions de voitures particuli\u00e8res par an.<span class=\"Apple-converted-space\">\u00a0<\/span><\/p>\n<p>Stellantis elle-m\u00eame a vendu 5,4 millions de v\u00e9hicules dans le monde en 2025, contre 6,2 millions l'ann\u00e9e pr\u00e9c\u00e9dente. Le groupe n'a pas cach\u00e9 son probl\u00e8me de surcapacit\u00e9 depuis la fusion de PSA et de Fiat Chrysler Automobiles (FCA) en 2021.<\/p>\n<h4>Dongfeng entre en sc\u00e8ne<\/h4>\n<p>Pour aligner la demande sur les co\u00fbts de l'offre, le groupe ne se contente pas de proc\u00e9der \u00e0 des fermetures brutales. Selon Bloomberg, de nouveaux invit\u00e9s ont arpent\u00e9 les couloirs d'autres usines Stellantis cette semaine : des repr\u00e9sentants de Dongfeng Motor. Le groupe d'\u00c9tat chinois a d\u00e9j\u00e0 \u00e9t\u00e9 un partenaire majeur de PSA et a \u00e9t\u00e9 aper\u00e7u en train de visiter des usines du groupe en Allemagne et en Italie.<span class=\"Apple-converted-space\">\u00a0<\/span><\/p>\n<p>Apparemment, les pourparlers entre les deux entreprises ont \u00e9t\u00e9 relanc\u00e9s et pourraient porter sur la production conjointe de voitures en Europe et en Chine. Dongfeng pourrait avoir acc\u00e8s aux capacit\u00e9s de production sous-utilis\u00e9es de Stellantis et s'assurer un acc\u00e8s en franchise de droits au march\u00e9 europ\u00e9en, mais aucun accord n'a \u00e9t\u00e9 confirm\u00e9 par l'une ou l'autre des parties.<\/p>\n<h4>Un Mokka chinois ?<\/h4>\n<p>L'int\u00e9r\u00eat de Dongfeng est distinct, mais parall\u00e8le \u00e0 un ensemble de discussions beaucoup plus approfondies d\u00e9j\u00e0 en cours avec Leapmotor (le fabricant chinois de VE dans lequel Stellantis d\u00e9tient une participation d'environ 21% et qui a connu un grand succ\u00e8s). Les deux entreprises sont en pourparlers avanc\u00e9s pour d\u00e9velopper conjointement un SUV \u00e9lectrique sous la marque Opel, dont le nom de code est O3U, dans l'usine de Stellantis \u00e0 Saragosse, en Espagne.<span class=\"Apple-converted-space\">\u00a0<\/span><\/p>\n<p>La production est pr\u00e9vue pour 2028, \u00e0 raison d'environ 50.000 unit\u00e9s par an. Le mod\u00e8le partagerait son architecture sous-jacente avec la B10 de Leapmotor, Opel ne s'occupant que du design ext\u00e9rieur. Un d\u00e9riv\u00e9 d'Alfa Romeo utilisant la m\u00eame plateforme est \u00e9galement \u00e0 l'\u00e9tude. Pour Opel, il pourrait s'agir du successeur du Mokka de Poissy.<\/p>\n<p>Le PDG de Stellantis, Antonio Filosa, doit pr\u00e9senter un plan strat\u00e9gique complet le 21 mai. Ce qui est d\u00e9j\u00e0 clair, c'est que Stellantis mise fortement sur les partenariats chinois pour combler les lacunes laiss\u00e9es par l'annulation de ses programmes de v\u00e9hicules \u00e9lectriques, en utilisant les usines europ\u00e9ennes sous-utilis\u00e9es comme monnaie d'\u00e9change.
