La nouvelle g\u00e9n\u00e9ration du SUV compact le plus connu de BYD se pr\u00e9pare \u00e0 \u00eatre lanc\u00e9e en Chine. C'est important, car le Yuan Plus est vendu en Europe sous le nom d'Atto 3. Les am\u00e9liorations sont substantielles : une carrosserie plus large, une plate-forme \u00e0 propulsion arri\u00e8re, une technologie de batterie Blade de deuxi\u00e8me g\u00e9n\u00e9ration et un syst\u00e8me de recharge rapide qui permet une charge presque compl\u00e8te en moins de 10 minutes.<\/b><\/p>\n

La commercialisation de l'Atto 3 am\u00e9lior\u00e9, sous le nom d'Evo, n'a commenc\u00e9 que ce mois-ci, mais en Chine, une nouvelle g\u00e9n\u00e9ration du SUV compact de BYD a \u00e9t\u00e9 d\u00e9voil\u00e9e. Le mod\u00e8le a \u00e9t\u00e9 r\u00e9v\u00e9l\u00e9 par des documents r\u00e9glementaires du MIIT (minist\u00e8re chinois de l'industrie et des technologies de l'information), avant son lancement officiel au salon de l'automobile de P\u00e9kin, qui ouvrira ses portes le 24 avril.\u00a0<\/span><\/p>\n

Une voiture plus grande sur une nouvelle plate-forme<\/b><\/h4>\n

Les sp\u00e9cifications de base n'ont pas de secret. Le nouveau mod\u00e8le grandit consid\u00e9rablement par rapport \u00e0 son pr\u00e9d\u00e9cesseur. Avec une longueur de 4 665 mm et un empattement de 2 770 mm, il est plus long de 210 mm et plus large de 50 mm que l'actuel Yuan Plus ou Atto 3. Le passage \u00e0 une architecture \u00e0 propulsion est le changement m\u00e9canique le plus important : deux moteurs sont disponibles, de 200 kW (268 ch) et 240 kW (322 ch), tous deux mont\u00e9s \u00e0 l'arri\u00e8re.<\/p>\n

Il existe \u00e9galement deux configurations de batterie : 57,5 kWh et 68,5 kWh, qui offrent des autonomies CLTC de 540 km et 630 km, respectivement. Bien entendu, si l'on applique le cycle WLTP, moins favorable, l'autonomie estim\u00e9e est de 445 \u00e0 515 km, ce qui n'est pas de nature \u00e0 faire bouger les lignes. Mais ces autonomies restent tout \u00e0 fait g\u00e9rables.<\/p>\n

Performance par temps froid<\/h4>\n

L'autonomie ne r\u00e9volutionne peut-\u00eatre pas le segment, mais sa capacit\u00e9 de charge rapide, rendue possible par la batterie Blade de deuxi\u00e8me g\u00e9n\u00e9ration, le fera. Selon les donn\u00e9es r\u00e9glementaires, la nouvelle Yuan Plus peut se charger de 10% \u00e0 70% en 5 minutes et de 10% \u00e0 97% en 9 minutes. Ces chiffres sont conformes aux promesses ant\u00e9rieures concernant la charge flash, que BYD pr\u00e9voit \u00e9galement de d\u00e9ployer en Europe au cours des prochains mois.<\/p>\n

Les performances par temps froid sont \u00e9galement sp\u00e9cifi\u00e9es : \u00e0 -30\u00b0C, le temps de charge n'augmente que de trois minutes par rapport aux conditions normales. Cette r\u00e9sistance aux basses temp\u00e9ratures est devenue un argument de vente de plus en plus important \u00e0 mesure que BYD s'implante sur des march\u00e9s o\u00f9 les hivers sont plus rudes.<\/p>\n

Baisse des ventes<\/h4>\n

Le style ext\u00e9rieur suit le langage de conception Dynasty de BYD, avec une calandre argent\u00e9e, des phares minces noircis et des ouvertures de ventilation dispos\u00e9es verticalement de part et d'autre du pare-chocs. Les poign\u00e9es de porte semi-cach\u00e9es et les montants D personnalisables avec plusieurs options de couleur ajoutent un degr\u00e9 de personnalisation qui fait d\u00e9faut au mod\u00e8le actuel. \u00c0 l'arri\u00e8re, une bande lumineuse sur toute la largeur traverse un panneau d\u00e9coratif de type traversant.<\/p>\n

Les images de l'int\u00e9rieur qui ont fuit\u00e9 avant les documents officiels montrent un habitacle \u00e0 l'agencement plus \u00e9pur\u00e9, aux surfaces simplifi\u00e9es et \u00e0 l'agencement horizontal du tableau de bord et de la console centrale. L'effet global est plus sobre que l'int\u00e9rieur de la voiture actuelle.<\/p>\n

Dans son pays d'origine, le Yuan Plus a besoin d'un regain d'int\u00e9r\u00eat car les ventes ont s\u00e9rieusement diminu\u00e9 de 73,2% au cours du premier trimestre 2026 (en comparaison avec l'ann\u00e9e pr\u00e9c\u00e9dente). Par rapport \u00e0 la toute nouvelle Atto 3 EVo, cette nouvelle Yuan Plus fait \u00e9voluer les choses : la charge flash, qui r\u00e9duit consid\u00e9rablement les temps d'arr\u00eat, et une plate-forme physiquement plus grande et m\u00e9caniquement modernis\u00e9e sont des arguments de poids.<\/p>\n

La vitesse \u00e0 laquelle la nouvelle g\u00e9n\u00e9ration arrivera sur les march\u00e9s europ\u00e9ens n'a pas encore \u00e9t\u00e9 annonc\u00e9e.
