L'ann\u00e9e 2025 a \u00e9t\u00e9 extr\u00eamement chaude presque partout, et environ 95% de l'Europe ont connu des temp\u00e9ratures sup\u00e9rieures \u00e0 la moyenne. M\u00eame pr\u00e8s du cercle polaire, les temp\u00e9ratures ont d\u00e9pass\u00e9 les 30\u00b0C.<\/span><\/p>\n<p><span class=\"Y2IQFc\" lang=\"en\">La temp\u00e9rature moyenne sur Terre est aujourd'hui sup\u00e9rieure de 1,4 degr\u00e9 \u00e0 ce qu'elle \u00e9tait \u00e0 la fin du XIXe si\u00e8cle, lorsque l'homme a commenc\u00e9 \u00e0 \u00e9mettre des gaz \u00e0 effet de serre \u00e0 grande \u00e9chelle. Selon les nouveaux chiffres, l'Europe s'est r\u00e9chauff\u00e9e de 2,5 degr\u00e9s au cours de cette p\u00e9riode, soit beaucoup plus que la moyenne mondiale.<\/span><\/p>\n<h4>Moins de neige et de glace<\/h4>\n<p><span class=\"Y2IQFc\" lang=\"en\">Cela est d\u00fb \u00e0 \u201cune combinaison de facteurs\u201d :\u00a0<\/span><span class=\"Y2IQFc\" lang=\"en\">L'Europe est situ\u00e9e assez au nord du globe, et le continent est une plaque de terre s\u00e8che qui n'est pas refroidie par l'eau comme la mer. <\/span><span class=\"Y2IQFc\" lang=\"en\">Autre raison pour laquelle l'Europe se r\u00e9chauffe particuli\u00e8rement vite : nous avons moins de neige et de glace, qui r\u00e9fl\u00e9chissent la lumi\u00e8re du soleil et ralentissent donc le r\u00e9chauffement.<\/span><\/p>\n<p><span class=\"Y2IQFc\" lang=\"en\">Le nombre de jours de gel montre \u00e9galement que le froid dispara\u00eet de l'Europe. <\/span>La zone des \u2018jours de gel\u2019 se r\u00e9duit. <span class=\"Y2IQFc\" lang=\"en\">Dans le climat actuel, l'hiver a recul\u00e9 jusqu'en Allemagne, et l'ann\u00e9e derni\u00e8re, pour deux semaines de gel, il fallait aller plus loin, vers la Pologne.\u00a0<\/span><\/p>\n<p>Les r\u00e9gions arctiques et subarctiques se r\u00e9chauffent particuli\u00e8rement rapidement. Les vagues de chaleur atteignent d\u00e9sormais des r\u00e9gions qui stabilisaient le climat hivernal de l'Europe.<\/p>\n<h4>Faible niveau des cours d'eau<\/h4>\n<p><span class=\"Y2IQFc\" lang=\"en\">Une autre tendance frappante est le niveau extr\u00eamement bas des cours d'eau. Dans une vaste zone allant des Pays-Bas aux \u00c9tats baltes au nord et \u00e0 la Turquie au sud, l'eau a coul\u00e9 beaucoup moins que d'habitude dans les rivi\u00e8res.<\/span><\/p>\n<p><span class=\"Y2IQFc\" lang=\"en\">En raison du faible niveau des rivi\u00e8res, il y a eu, heureusement, peu d'inondations, bien que la situation ait \u00e9t\u00e9 tout \u00e0 fait diff\u00e9rente en Espagne et au Portugal : l\u00e0, toute une s\u00e9rie de temp\u00eates en novembre ont provoqu\u00e9 de fortes pluies et des inondations.<\/span><\/p>\n<h4>\u2018Stress thermique\u2019<\/h4>\n<p><span class=\"Y2IQFc\" lang=\"en\">Le nouveau mot \u00e0 la mode est \u2018stress thermique\u2019, une combinaison de temp\u00e9rature, d'humidit\u00e9, de vitesse du vent, de lumi\u00e8re solaire et de chaleur rayonn\u00e9e par l'environnement. \u00c0 un refroidissement \u00e9olien de 32 degr\u00e9s, le stress thermique est \u2018fort\u2019 ; au-del\u00e0 de 38 degr\u00e9s, il est \u2018tr\u00e8s fort\u2019, pr\u00e9cise le Centre europ\u00e9en pour les pr\u00e9visions m\u00e9t\u00e9orologiques \u00e0 moyen terme (CEPMMT).<\/span><\/p>\n<p><span class=\"Y2IQFc\" lang=\"en\">Dans le sud et l'est de l'Espagne, au moins 50 jours de plus que d'habitude ont \u00e9t\u00e9 marqu\u00e9s par un stress thermique s\u00e9v\u00e8re l'ann\u00e9e derni\u00e8re. L'Espagne et le Portugal ont \u00e9galement connu des dizaines de nuits tropicales de plus que d'habitude, avec des temp\u00e9ratures ne descendant pas en dessous de 20 degr\u00e9s. <\/span><span class=\"Y2IQFc\" lang=\"en\">M\u00eame dans la froide Scandinavie, les gens se sont familiaris\u00e9s avec le stress thermique.<\/span><\/p>\n<p><span class=\"Y2IQFc\" lang=\"en\">Presque partout en Europe, il y a eu moins de jours de \u2018stress froid\u2019, c'est-\u00e0-dire de refroidissement \u00e9olien de moins 13 degr\u00e9s ou plus. <\/span><span class=\"Y2IQFc\" lang=\"en\">Mais la v\u00e9ritable trag\u00e9die se d\u00e9roule au Groenland. <\/span><\/p>\n<h4>Groenland<\/h4>\n<p><span class=\"Y2IQFc\" lang=\"en\">En 2025, le Groenland a perdu 139 milliards de tonnes nettes de glace, selon les calculs du CEPMMT. Une quantit\u00e9 inimaginable qui \u00e9quivaut \u00e0 la glace de tous les glaciers alpins, multipli\u00e9e par un et demi, et tout cela en une seule ann\u00e9e. <\/span><\/p>\n<p><span class=\"Y2IQFc\" lang=\"en\">Le niveau de la mer s'\u00e9l\u00e8ve d\u00e9j\u00e0 d'environ 3,6 millim\u00e8tres par an, principalement en raison de l'expansion de l'eau plus chaude.
