Cette technologie pourrait bouleverser l'infrastructure de recharge japonaise et faire du c\u00e2ble de recharge et des batteries surdimensionn\u00e9es des reliques du pass\u00e9.<\/p>\n<p>Avec son profil tr\u00e8s urbanis\u00e9, symbolis\u00e9 par des autoroutes au onzi\u00e8me \u00e9tage des gratte-ciel, le Japon est difficile \u00e0 \u00e9lectrifier. La mise en place d'une infrastructure de recharge est un cauchemar, et c'est l'une des raisons pour lesquelles le pays, et surtout Toyota, ne renonce pas \u00e0 ses ambitions en mati\u00e8re d'hydrog\u00e8ne.<span class=\"Apple-converted-space\">\u00a0<\/span><\/p>\n<h4>En collaboration avec l'Universit\u00e9 de Tokyo<\/h4>\n<p>Cependant, Denso, le g\u00e9ant des composants affili\u00e9 \u00e0 Toyota, pousse fortement dans une direction fondamentalement diff\u00e9rente : la charge par induction, qui se produit lorsque l'\u00e9lectricit\u00e9 circule de mani\u00e8re invisible, continue et sans que le conducteur ne fasse quoi que ce soit, de la route vers un v\u00e9hicule en mouvement.<\/p>\n<p>Le concept s'appelle Dynamic Wireless Power Transfer (transfert dynamique d'\u00e9nergie sans fil). Denso y travaille et l'affine depuis plusieurs ann\u00e9es et a maintenant formalis\u00e9 son engagement le plus ambitieux \u00e0 ce jour.<\/p>\n<p>L'universit\u00e9 de Tokyo a sign\u00e9 un accord de recherche de dix ans. Mais la collaboration porte ses fruits bien plus t\u00f4t : un syst\u00e8me d\u00e9ployable et commercialement viable devrait \u00eatre mis en place d'ici 2029.<\/p>\n<p>La technologie repose sur le principe bien connu du chargement d'un t\u00e9l\u00e9phone sans c\u00e2ble : l'induction \u00e9lectromagn\u00e9tique. Des bobines enfouies sous la chauss\u00e9e g\u00e9n\u00e8rent un champ magn\u00e9tique alternatif ; un r\u00e9cepteur mont\u00e9 sous le v\u00e9hicule convertit ce champ en courant \u00e9lectrique et l'envoie \u00e0 la batterie. Si l'on \u00e9tend ce syst\u00e8me \u00e0 des centaines de m\u00e8tres d'autoroute, un v\u00e9hicule peut, en th\u00e9orie, se recharger en continu tant qu'il reste sur le tron\u00e7on \u00e9quip\u00e9.<\/p>\n<h4>Cinquante heures, 500 kilom\u00e8tres, pas de prise<\/h4>\n<p>Denso a effectu\u00e9 une d\u00e9monstration soutenue \u00e0 son si\u00e8ge qui a donn\u00e9 exactement ce r\u00e9sultat \u00e0 l'\u00e9chelle de l'essai. Pendant 50 heures d'affil\u00e9e, un v\u00e9hicule \u00e9quip\u00e9 du r\u00e9cepteur de l'entreprise a parcouru 500 kilom\u00e8tres sans un seul arr\u00eat de charge. Le test ne portait pas sur la vitesse, mais sur la r\u00e9gularit\u00e9. Shinnosuke Hayashi, pr\u00e9sident de Denso, a d\u00e9clar\u00e9 : \u201cCette technologie pourrait d\u00e9passer les limites et changer le visage de la mobilit\u00e9\u201d.\u201d<\/p>\n<p>Le partenariat avec l'universit\u00e9 de Tokyo vise \u00e0 combler le foss\u00e9 entre les d\u00e9monstrations contr\u00f4l\u00e9es et l'infrastructure r\u00e9elle. Outre la technologie, de nombreux aspects doivent \u00eatre pris en compte : l'int\u00e9gration du r\u00e9seau, l'alignement des v\u00e9hicules \u00e0 la vitesse de l'autoroute, les syst\u00e8mes de facturation, les certifications de s\u00e9curit\u00e9, etc.<\/p>\n<h4>Rattrapage<\/h4>\n<p>Denso ne cache pas un fait g\u00eanant : malgr\u00e9 ses besoins plus importants en mati\u00e8re de charge par induction, le Japon est \u00e0 la tra\u00eene. L'Europe et les \u00c9tats-Unis ont progress\u00e9 plus rapidement.<\/p>\n<p>Le projet A10 d'Electreon sur une autoroute au sud-ouest de Paris est d\u00e9sormais la premi\u00e8re autoroute de recharge sans fil au monde capable de fournir plus de 200 kW \u00e0 un camion en mouvement. L'Allemagne installe un segment inductif d'un kilom\u00e8tre sur l'autoroute A6 en Bavi\u00e8re. D\u00e9troit a activ\u00e9 la premi\u00e8re route de recharge sans fil des \u00c9tats-Unis en partenariat avec Ford.<\/p>\n<p>Outre l'\u00e9limination des arr\u00eats de charge, la charge par induction offre un deuxi\u00e8me avantage, structurellement plus important : elle permet aux VE de fonctionner avec des batteries beaucoup plus petites.<\/p>\n<p>Les v\u00e9hicules d'aujourd'hui sont con\u00e7us avec des capacit\u00e9s partiellement dimensionn\u00e9es pour les sc\u00e9narios d'autonomie les plus d\u00e9favorables. Mais si une voiture peut \u00eatre recharg\u00e9e en cours de route, le probl\u00e8me de la batterie change compl\u00e8tement. Non seulement un v\u00e9hicule plus l\u00e9ger roule mieux et consomme moins de carburant, mais il cause \u00e9galement moins de d\u00e9g\u00e2ts sur les routes.<\/p>\n<p>L'obstacle principal reste bien s\u00fbr le co\u00fbt. L'installation de bobines sur des kilom\u00e8tres de chauss\u00e9e se chiffre en millions par kilom\u00e8tre.
