En raison d'une demande saisonni\u00e8re plus faible en Europe, le premier trimestre est structurellement d\u00e9ficitaire pour le plus grand groupe a\u00e9rien europ\u00e9en, parent de Brussels Airlines. De plus, la perte est inf\u00e9rieure de 15% \u00e0 celle de la m\u00eame p\u00e9riode de l'ann\u00e9e pr\u00e9c\u00e9dente.<\/p>\n<p>Pour l'ensemble de l'ann\u00e9e 2026, la compagnie pr\u00e9voit une augmentation des b\u00e9n\u00e9fices de 10% par rapport \u00e0 l'ann\u00e9e derni\u00e8re. Pour les voyageurs, cependant, le prix des billets devrait l\u00e9g\u00e8rement augmenter en raison de la hausse des prix du carburant caus\u00e9e par la crise au Moyen-Orient.<\/p>\n<h4>Des profits plus \u00e9lev\u00e9s gr\u00e2ce \u00e0 la guerre<\/h4>\n<p>Le groupe Lufthansa pourrait m\u00eame tirer profit de cette guerre. Pour l'ensemble de l'ann\u00e9e 2026, Lufthansa estime la facture de carburant \u00e0 pr\u00e8s de 9 milliards d'euros, soit un surco\u00fbt de 1,7 milliard d'euros. Elle s'attend \u00e9galement \u00e0 ce que la disponibilit\u00e9 du carburant diminue plus tard dans l'ann\u00e9e, bien qu'elle ait couvert environ 80% de ses besoins en carburant pour 2026.<\/p>\n<h4>10% augmentation du b\u00e9n\u00e9fice d'exploitation<\/h4>\n<p>Cette hausse des co\u00fbts se r\u00e9percute naturellement sur le prix des billets et les horaires des vols. Pour r\u00e9duire les co\u00fbts, 20 000 vols ont d\u00e9j\u00e0 \u00e9t\u00e9 annul\u00e9s jusqu'en octobre. Le PDG Carsten Spohr souhaite \u00e9galement augmenter le prix des billets.<\/p>\n<p>Les perspectives financi\u00e8res de Lufthansa, qui poss\u00e8de \u00e9galement SWISS, Austrian Airlines, ITA Airways et Eurowings, restent inchang\u00e9es. Par exemple, le co\u00fbt du carburant par si\u00e8ge-kilom\u00e8tre disponible a augment\u00e9 d'environ 14% par rapport \u00e0 la m\u00eame p\u00e9riode de l'ann\u00e9e pr\u00e9c\u00e9dente.<\/p>\n<p>Brussels Airlines a \u00e9galement enregistr\u00e9 une perte d'exploitation de 55 millions d'euros, contre 53 millions d'euros au cours de la m\u00eame p\u00e9riode l'ann\u00e9e derni\u00e8re. Au total, la compagnie a effectu\u00e9 11% de vols suppl\u00e9mentaires (15 000) au cours des trois premiers mois, transportant 14,5% de passagers en plus (1,88 million). Le chiffre d'affaires a augment\u00e9 de 12,8% pour atteindre 343 millions d'euros, mais cette hausse a \u00e9t\u00e9 compens\u00e9e par l'augmentation des co\u00fbts (+11,5% pour atteindre 417 millions d'euros).<\/p>\n<h4>La demande reste \u00e9lev\u00e9e<\/h4>\n<p>Les mois de janvier et f\u00e9vrier ont \u00e9t\u00e9 excellents. La capacit\u00e9 a m\u00eame augment\u00e9 de 18% par rapport \u00e0 l'ann\u00e9e derni\u00e8re, et la demande reste \u00e9lev\u00e9e, avec une nette concentration sur les routes vers l'Afrique sub-saharienne. Cependant, la tendance positive s'est interrompue en mars, avec une croissance de seulement 1%, en partie \u00e0 cause d'une gr\u00e8ve nationale qui a entra\u00een\u00e9 une perte de 1 million d'euros et, bien s\u00fbr, de l'apparition de tensions au Moyen-Orient.<\/p>\n<p>Brussels Airlines ne souhaite pas faire de pr\u00e9visions pour les mois d'\u00e9t\u00e9.
