BYD a choisi la Hongrie et peut-\u00eatre l'usine de VW \u00e0 Dresde, Xpeng a sous-trait\u00e9 \u00e0 Magna-Steyr en Autriche, tandis que le groupe Chery a achet\u00e9 l'ancienne usine de Nissan dans la banlieue de Barcelone et que Leapmotor a conclu un accord avec Stellantis pour une capacit\u00e9 de production \u00e0 Saragosse.<\/p>\n<p>Enfin, MG a annonc\u00e9 qu'elle avait r\u00e9duit sa recherche, envisageant un site \u00e0 Ferrol, dans le nord-ouest de l'Espagne. En effet, l'Espagne devient de plus en plus la plaque tournante de la fabrication chinoise en Europe.<span class=\"Apple-converted-space\">\u00a0<\/span><\/p>\n<h4>Hall d'assemblage du corps 3<\/h4>\n<p>Ces accords ne sont qu'un d\u00e9but. Une vague plus importante de fabrication chinoise touchera l'Europe. Il s'agit d'une \u00e9volution importante qui pourrait \u00e9galement assurer l'avenir des activit\u00e9s de la derni\u00e8re usine automobile de Belgique : Volvo \u00e0 Gand. La marque est enti\u00e8rement d\u00e9tenue par Geely, qui s'aventure \u00e9galement en Europe sous son propre nom. Il est donc logique que le groupe chinois privil\u00e9gie sa propre infrastructure.<span class=\"Apple-converted-space\">\u00a0<\/span><\/p>\n<p>Mais La Tribuna a r\u00e9v\u00e9l\u00e9 une strat\u00e9gie diff\u00e9rente. Apparemment, la soci\u00e9t\u00e9 m\u00e8re de Volvo cherche \u00e0 investir dans l'usine Ford de Valence, qui est \u00e9galement confront\u00e9e \u00e0 une surcapacit\u00e9. <span class=\"Apple-converted-space\">\u00a0<\/span><\/p>\n<p>Le groupe chinois souhaiterait acheter le hall d'assemblage Body 3 \u00e0 Valence, ce qui permettrait au constructeur d'exploiter sa propre ligne de production distincte pour sa marque Geely. Ce hall est la zone d'assemblage la plus moderne de l'usine et a \u00e9t\u00e9 con\u00e7u pour les anciens v\u00e9hicules \u00e0 plate-forme moyenne de Ford : la Mondeo, le Galaxy et le S-Max, qui ont tous \u00e9t\u00e9 abandonn\u00e9s il y a trois ans. Seul le Kuga est actuellement fabriqu\u00e9 dans l'usine.<span class=\"Apple-converted-space\">\u00a0<\/span><\/p>\n<h4>Architecture GEA ?<\/h4>\n<p>Des sources ont indiqu\u00e9 \u00e0 La Tribuna que Geely pr\u00e9voit de construire un mod\u00e8le bas\u00e9 sur sa plateforme GEA (Global Intelligent Electric Architecture). Cette architecture peut \u00eatre utilis\u00e9e pour les petites, compactes, moyennes et grandes voitures dot\u00e9es d'un groupe motopropulseur \u00e9lectrique \u00e0 batterie ou d'un groupe motopropulseur hybride rechargeable. Il est possible que Ford construise lui-m\u00eame un mod\u00e8le \u00e9lectrique sur la base de cette architecture.<\/p>\n<p>Outre les relations diplomatiques et politiques de longue date de l'Espagne avec la Chine, le choix de ces bases pourrait expliquer pourquoi Geely ne se tourne pas vers Gand, qui s'appuie sur la plateforme SEA-E de l'EX30.<span class=\"Apple-converted-space\">\u00a0<\/span><\/p>\n<p>La production \u00e0 Valence n'exclurait pas totalement les mod\u00e8les chinois fabriqu\u00e9s \u00e0 Gand, en fonction du nombre de mod\u00e8les que Geely a l'intention de produire en Europe. Avec Zeekr, Polestar et Lynk &amp; Co, entre autres, le constructeur automobile dispose de plusieurs marques pour r\u00e9pondre aux besoins des march\u00e9s europ\u00e9ens.<span class=\"Apple-converted-space\">\u00a0<\/span><\/p>\n<p>Mais si les sources de La Tribuna sont exactes, cela montre comment la main-d'\u0153uvre \u00e0 bas salaire en Espagne et l'image de Pedro Sanchez en tant que Premier ministre le plus favorable \u00e0 la Chine en Europe (il a vot\u00e9 contre les droits de douane) sont en train de remodeler le paysage de la construction automobile en Europe.<\/p>\n<p>Toutefois, les marques occidentales ne sont pas en reste. Dans le cadre du programme PERTE, le groupe Volkswagen a investi 10 milliards d'euros dans la conversion de l'infrastructure de Seat afin de cr\u00e9er un p\u00f4le d'e-mobilit\u00e9 en Espagne. <span class=\"Apple-converted-space\">\u00a0<\/span><\/p>\n<h4>\u201cSp\u00e9culation\u201d<\/h4>\n<p>Geely n'a pas r\u00e9pondu imm\u00e9diatement aux demandes de commentaires. Un porte-parole de Ford a d\u00e9clar\u00e9 \u00e0 Reuters qu'il s'agissait de \u201csp\u00e9culations\u201d et s'est refus\u00e9 \u00e0 tout autre commentaire. Dans des d\u00e9clarations ant\u00e9rieures, les deux entreprises ont indiqu\u00e9 qu'elles \u00e9taient \u201ccontinuellement en discussion avec divers partenaires, mais rien n'a \u00e9t\u00e9 finalis\u00e9\u201d.\u201d<\/p>\n<p>Sp\u00e9culation mise \u00e0 part, Geely est certainement \u00e0 la recherche de capacit\u00e9s de production en Europe pour \u00e9viter les droits de douane de 18,8% impos\u00e9s sur ses importations de BEV en provenance de Chine.
