La marque chinoise MG (qui fait partie de SAIC Motor) et l'importateur belge Astara ont conclu un accord en vertu duquel MG Europe importera elle-m\u00eame ses voitures \u00e0 partir du 1er juillet. Entre-temps, BYD, la deuxi\u00e8me marque automobile chinoise en Belgique, envisage de faire de m\u00eame.<\/p>\n

La distribution de MG en Belgique et au Luxembourg sera organis\u00e9e par une soci\u00e9t\u00e9 de vente nationale \u00e0 partir de cet \u00e9t\u00e9 sous les ailes de MG Europe. L'importateur actuel Astara et MG collaboreront pour assurer une transition aussi harmonieuse que possible. Afin d'assurer un transfert stable et de limiter les perturbations potentielles pour les clients, les concessionnaires actuels seront largement maintenus dans le nouveau sch\u00e9ma de distribution.<\/p>\n

Croissance rapide<\/h4>\n

Import\u00e9e par Astara depuis 2020, MG a connu une croissance rapide au Belux pour devenir la marque chinoise la plus importante du march\u00e9. Le portefeuille de MG comprend actuellement 9 mod\u00e8les, et en 2025, la marque a enregistr\u00e9 pr\u00e8s de 6 000 ventes, avec plus de 1,5% de part de march\u00e9. Au cours des quatre premiers mois de l'ann\u00e9e, MG a d\u00e9j\u00e0 vendu 2 620 unit\u00e9s, soit une augmentation de 811 tonnes par rapport \u00e0 l'ann\u00e9e derni\u00e8re et une part de march\u00e9 de pr\u00e8s de 1,751 tonne.<\/p>\n

Astara se concentrera d\u00e9sormais sur les autres marques de son portefeuille d'importateurs, telles que Hyundai, Suzuki, Isuzu, Maxus et KG Mobility, tout en restant \u00e0 l'aff\u00fbt de nouvelles opportunit\u00e9s d'importation.<\/p>\n

Nouvelle tendance ?<\/h4>\n

Lorsque de nouveaux constructeurs automobiles chinois p\u00e9n\u00e8trent sur le march\u00e9 belge ou europ\u00e9en, ils s'appuient souvent sur des importateurs europ\u00e9ens ou locaux ind\u00e9pendants. En Belgique, par exemple, des groupes d'importateurs comme le britannique Inchcape ou le su\u00e9dois Hedin importent des marques chinoises telles que BYD (Inchcape) ou Nio, Firefly, Hongqi ou Xpeng (Hedin).<\/p>\n

Mais \u00e0 mesure que ces marques chinoises gagnent en popularit\u00e9, leurs si\u00e8ges europ\u00e9ens ou mondiaux estiment qu'il est plus rentable d'importer eux-m\u00eames les voitures que de payer d'autres pour la distribution. Le si\u00e8ge europ\u00e9en de BYD (aux Pays-Bas) a d\u00e9j\u00e0 d\u00e9cid\u00e9 que le deuxi\u00e8me constructeur automobile chinois en Belgique aurait sa propre organisation de vente aux Pays-Bas et en Allemagne, \u00e9cartant ainsi les importateurs locaux Louwman et Hedin.<\/p>\n

La m\u00eame chose est pr\u00e9vue pour ce pays, ce qui signifie qu'Inchcape (\u00e9galement importateur de Toyota et Lexus en Belgique et au Luxembourg) perdra son statut d'importateur mais continuera \u00e0 vendre des BYD par l'interm\u00e9diaire de ses concessionnaires strat\u00e9giquement positionn\u00e9s \u00e0 Anvers, Bruxelles et Gand.<\/p>\n

L'impact croissant des fabricants chinois en Europe ne peut \u00eatre surestim\u00e9. Le volume des ventes des marques chinoises en Belgique double pratiquement chaque ann\u00e9e, notamment parce qu'elles vendent un nombre croissant de voitures hybrides (PHEV et autres) et \u00e0 moteur \u00e0 combustion interne, qui ne sont pas soumises aux droits d'importation de l'UE sur les BEV chinois.<\/p>\n
