Des \u00e9tincelles jaillissent lorsque les techniciens assemblent et soudent manuellement l'ensemble du cadre de la carrosserie en acier avant que les bus ne soient achemin\u00e9s plus loin sur la ligne.<\/p>\n<p>Cette structure doit \u00eatre particuli\u00e8rement robuste : pour la version europ\u00e9enne EB 12, VinFast monte l'ensemble du syst\u00e8me de batteries de 422 kWh sur le toit afin de pr\u00e9server l'habitacle \u00e0 plancher bas, ce qui repr\u00e9sente une charge suppl\u00e9mentaire de 2,1 \u00e0 2,6 tonnes au-dessus de l'habitacle.<\/p>\n<p>Ce type d'am\u00e9nagement est courant dans les e-bus europ\u00e9ens modernes, mais il impose des exigences \u00e9lev\u00e9es en mati\u00e8re de rigidit\u00e9 de la carrosserie, de r\u00e9sistance au renversement et de r\u00e9glage des suspensions. Pourtant, l'\u00e9chelle reste impressionnante. L'Europe est devenue l'une des premi\u00e8res cibles internationales de VinFast pour ses bus \u00e9lectriques, avec les Pays-Bas, l'Allemagne, l'Autriche et la Suisse. Ces march\u00e9s sont la priorit\u00e9 sous la responsabilit\u00e9 du directeur europ\u00e9en des ventes n\u00e9erlandais, Patrick Oosterveld.<\/p>\n<p>Cette ambition europ\u00e9enne est devenue visible \u00e0 Busworld Europe 2025 \u00e0 Bruxelles, le plus grand salon mondial de l'autobus et de l'autocar, et l'endroit logique pour tout nouveau venu essayant d'entrer dans l'industrie \u00e9troitement soud\u00e9e des transports publics du continent.<\/p>\n<p>VinFast a profit\u00e9 de la pr\u00e9sentation \u00e0 Bruxelles de ses EB 8 et EB 12 non seulement pour pr\u00e9senter les v\u00e9hicules eux-m\u00eames, mais aussi pour signaler son intention de devenir un acteur \u00e0 long terme sur le march\u00e9 europ\u00e9en des autobus \u00e0 z\u00e9ro \u00e9mission.<\/p>\n<p><img data-recalc-dims=\"1\" loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" class=\"aligncenter size-large wp-image-186137\" src=\"https:\/\/i0.wp.com\/newmobility.news\/wp-content\/uploads\/2026\/05\/Patrick-Oosterveld.png?resize=640%2C413&#038;ssl=1\" alt=\"\" width=\"640\" height=\"413\" srcset=\"https:\/\/i0.wp.com\/newmobility.news\/wp-content\/uploads\/2026\/05\/Patrick-Oosterveld.png?resize=1024%2C660&amp;ssl=1 1024w, https:\/\/i0.wp.com\/newmobility.news\/wp-content\/uploads\/2026\/05\/Patrick-Oosterveld.png?w=1280&amp;ssl=1 1280w, https:\/\/i0.wp.com\/newmobility.news\/wp-content\/uploads\/2026\/05\/Patrick-Oosterveld.png?w=1920&amp;ssl=1 1920w\" sizes=\"auto, (max-width: 640px) 100vw, 640px\" \/><\/p>\n<p>Pour diriger cet effort, VinFast a recrut\u00e9 Patrick Oosterveld, v\u00e9t\u00e9ran de l'industrie n\u00e9erlandaise des autobus, qui a pr\u00e9c\u00e9demment occup\u00e9 des fonctions commerciales chez VDL (directeur des exportations), BYD Europe (directeur adjoint des ventes \/ directeur national) et le fabricant n\u00e9erlandais d'autobus \u00e9lectriques Ebusco (directeur des ventes), ce qui lui a permis d'acqu\u00e9rir une exp\u00e9rience directe du secteur europ\u00e9en des autobus \u00e9lectriques, qui \u00e9volue rapidement, et des d\u00e9fis auxquels les fabricants asiatiques sont confront\u00e9s lorsqu'ils p\u00e9n\u00e8trent sur le march\u00e9.<\/p>\n<p>Cette strat\u00e9gie refl\u00e8te les ambitions europ\u00e9ennes plus larges de VinFast. Con\u00e7u pour les lignes urbaines de grande capacit\u00e9, l'autobus urbain \u00e0 plancher bas mesure 12,1 m\u00e8tres de long et peut transporter jusqu'\u00e0 90 passagers.<\/p>\n<p>Sur le toit se trouve une batterie CATL LFP de 422 kWh, qui alimente deux moteurs de 125 kW au niveau des moyeux de roue. L'EB 12 prend en charge la charge CCS2 jusqu'\u00e0 140 kW, ce qui permet une charge de 10 \u00e0 80 % en deux heures environ.<\/p>\n<p data-start=\"102\" data-end=\"942\">C'est moins rapide que certains e-bus europ\u00e9ens et chinois r\u00e9cents, o\u00f9 les capacit\u00e9s de charge de 300 \u00e0 500 kW sont de plus en plus courantes pour les trajets urbains intensifs.<\/p>\n<p data-start=\"102\" data-end=\"942\">Plusieurs fabricants pr\u00e9parent d\u00e9j\u00e0 des syst\u00e8mes de recharge de classe m\u00e9gawatt pour les autobus, en particulier pour les r\u00e9seaux de transport rapide par autobus et les op\u00e9rations \u00e0 haute fr\u00e9quence o\u00f9 les v\u00e9hicules doivent \u00eatre recharg\u00e9s pendant les courtes pauses du conducteur.<\/p>\n<p data-start=\"102\" data-end=\"942\">VinFast semble toutefois privil\u00e9gier une philosophie de recharge au d\u00e9p\u00f4t plus simple, ax\u00e9e sur la recharge de nuit, la r\u00e9duction des co\u00fbts d'infrastructure et la long\u00e9vit\u00e9 de la batterie, m\u00eame si l'entreprise affirme que la recharge de 250 kW et la recharge d'opportunit\u00e9 au pantographe seront \u00e9galement propos\u00e9es en option aux clients europ\u00e9ens \u00e0 l'avenir.<\/p>\n<h4 data-start=\"944\" data-end=\"1319\">R\u00e9seau de recharge d\u00e9di\u00e9 aux e-bus<\/h4>\n<p data-start=\"944\" data-end=\"1319\" data-is-last-node=\"\" data-is-only-node=\"\">Cette approche refl\u00e8te la strat\u00e9gie nationale plus large de VinFast au Vi\u00eat Nam, o\u00f9 VinBus exploite d\u00e9j\u00e0 des dizaines de lignes de bus \u00e9lectriques dans cinq grandes villes, soutenues par de grandes installations de recharge.<\/p>\n<p data-start=\"944\" data-end=\"1319\" data-is-last-node=\"\" data-is-only-node=\"\">L'\u00e9cosyst\u00e8me plus large de Vingroup, quant \u00e0 lui, revendique l'un des plus grands r\u00e9seaux de recharge de VE en Asie du Sud-Est gr\u00e2ce \u00e0 sa soci\u00e9t\u00e9 s\u0153ur V-Green, qui affirme d\u00e9ployer des dizaines de milliers de points de recharge dans tout le pays.<\/p>\n<p data-start=\"944\" data-end=\"1319\" data-is-last-node=\"\" data-is-only-node=\"\">Contrairement \u00e0 de nombreuses start-ups de v\u00e9hicules \u00e9lectriques qui se lancent dans le secteur des autobus, VinFast peut donc d\u00e9j\u00e0 se pr\u00e9valoir d'une exp\u00e9rience op\u00e9rationnelle substantielle dans le monde r\u00e9el, g\u00e9n\u00e9rant des donn\u00e9es pr\u00e9cieuses sur la durabilit\u00e9 des batteries, le comportement en mati\u00e8re de charge, l'entretien et les cycles de travail urbains intensifs avant d'entrer sur le march\u00e9 europ\u00e9en, bien plus exigeant.<\/p>\n<p><img data-recalc-dims=\"1\" loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" class=\"aligncenter size-large wp-image-186153\" src=\"https:\/\/i0.wp.com\/newmobility.news\/wp-content\/uploads\/2026\/05\/VinFAst-EB-combined.png?resize=640%2C426&#038;ssl=1\" alt=\"\" width=\"640\" height=\"426\" srcset=\"https:\/\/i0.wp.com\/newmobility.news\/wp-content\/uploads\/2026\/05\/VinFAst-EB-combined.png?resize=1024%2C682&amp;ssl=1 1024w, https:\/\/i0.wp.com\/newmobility.news\/wp-content\/uploads\/2026\/05\/VinFAst-EB-combined.png?w=1280&amp;ssl=1 1280w\" sizes=\"auto, (max-width: 640px) 100vw, 640px\" \/><\/p>\n<p>Les bus eux-m\u00eames r\u00e9v\u00e8lent \u00e0 quel point ils ont \u00e9t\u00e9 adapt\u00e9s \u00e0 l'Europe. Contrairement aux autobus vietnamiens, l'EB 12 europ\u00e9en est \u00e9quip\u00e9 de vitres chauffantes pour le conducteur, de pare-brise chauffants en option, d'un syst\u00e8me de climatisation bizone avec pompe \u00e0 chaleur, d'un rev\u00eatement anticorrosion pour les routes sal\u00e9es en hiver, d'un acc\u00e8s pour les fauteuils roulants, de syst\u00e8mes de s\u00e9curit\u00e9 ADAS \u00e9tendus et d'une compatibilit\u00e9 avec le syst\u00e8me de recharge CCS2.<\/p>\n<p>Le VinFast EB 12, de type europ\u00e9en, combine un int\u00e9rieur minimaliste de style europ\u00e9en avec une accessibilit\u00e9 totale \u00e0 plancher bas, un acc\u00e8s pour les fauteuils roulants et une attention particuli\u00e8re port\u00e9e \u00e0 la circulation des passagers plut\u00f4t qu'\u00e0 un design tape-\u00e0-l'\u0153il. VinFast a \u00e9galement l'intention de livrer une concurrence agressive sur le plan des prix : la soci\u00e9t\u00e9 affirme que l'EB 12 sera lanc\u00e9e en Europe \u00e0 un prix d'environ 400 000 euros.<\/p>\n<p>Ce prix est nettement inf\u00e9rieur \u00e0 celui de nombreux autobus urbains \u00e9lectriques comparables d'Europe occidentale, qui peuvent co\u00fbter entre 500 000 et 700 000 euros, en fonction de la taille de la batterie et des sp\u00e9cifications. M\u00eame plusieurs concurrents chinois positionn\u00e9s en Europe d\u00e9passent souvent le seuil du demi-million d'euros une fois qu'ils ont \u00e9t\u00e9 adapt\u00e9s aux exigences de l'appel d'offres europ\u00e9en.\u201d<\/p>\n<h4>Bus urbain compact<\/h4>\n<p>Le petit EB 8 de VinFast suit une philosophie similaire. D\u00e9velopp\u00e9 initialement pour un projet de transport sp\u00e9cifique au client, ce bus urbain compact est pass\u00e9 de la conception \u00e0 la production en seulement huit mois.<\/p>\n<p>L'homologation europ\u00e9enne finale est attendue pour l'ann\u00e9e prochaine. Con\u00e7ue pour les rues urbaines \u00e9troites et les itin\u00e9raires peu fr\u00e9quent\u00e9s, l'EB 8 utilise une batterie de 359 kWh offrant jusqu'\u00e0 290 kilom\u00e8tres d'autonomie et prend en charge la recharge CCS2 jusqu'\u00e0 120 kW.<\/p>\n<p>Pouvant accueillir jusqu'\u00e0 60 passagers, y compris un espace r\u00e9serv\u00e9 aux fauteuils roulants, ce bus est destin\u00e9 aux petites lignes urbaines et aux navettes o\u00f9 la maniabilit\u00e9 est plus importante que la capacit\u00e9 maximale.<\/p>\n<p>Contrairement \u00e0 certains nouveaux fabricants de v\u00e9hicules \u00e9lectriques, VinFast est de plus en plus int\u00e9gr\u00e9e verticalement. L'entreprise produit d\u00e9j\u00e0 des cellules de batterie pour ses voitures particuli\u00e8res par l'interm\u00e9diaire de sa filiale vietnamienne VinES, bien que les autobus europ\u00e9ens eux-m\u00eames d\u00e9pendent actuellement de grands blocs de batteries LFP fournis par les fabricants mondiaux \u00e9tablis CATL et Gotion.<\/p>\n<h4>Enseignements tir\u00e9s aux Pays-Bas<\/h4>\n<p>Pourtant, le v\u00e9ritable d\u00e9fi n'est peut-\u00eatre pas d'ordre technique. Le march\u00e9 europ\u00e9en des autobus est notoirement conservateur. Les op\u00e9rateurs se soucient davantage du temps de fonctionnement, de la disponibilit\u00e9 des pi\u00e8ces de rechange et de la fiabilit\u00e9 du service que des sp\u00e9cifications tape-\u00e0-l'\u0153il sur 15 ans d'exploitation.<\/p>\n<p>Le fabricant chinois BYD a d\u00e9j\u00e0 appris cette le\u00e7on \u00e0 ses d\u00e9pens aux Pays-Bas, o\u00f9 les premi\u00e8res flottes de bus \u00e9lectriques ont souffert de probl\u00e8mes de fiabilit\u00e9 et de logiciels avant que l'entreprise n'am\u00e9liore progressivement ses activit\u00e9s en Europe. VinFast devra probablement faire face \u00e0 un examen similaire.<\/p>\n<p>Cela explique en partie pourquoi l'entreprise met l'accent sur des garanties agressives. VinFast promet cinq ans de couverture kilom\u00e9trique illimit\u00e9e pour l'ensemble du v\u00e9hicule et huit ans de couverture kilom\u00e9trique illimit\u00e9e pour la batterie et la protection anticorrosion.<\/p>\n<p>Il n'est pas certain que les op\u00e9rateurs europ\u00e9ens fassent confiance aux autobus soud\u00e9s dans le nord du Vi\u00eat Nam pour leurs itin\u00e9raires urbains les plus fr\u00e9quent\u00e9s.
