Ensemble, ils formeront la plus grande entreprise de coursiers \u00e0 v\u00e9lo de Belgique, avec une cinquantaine de coursiers et un chiffre d'affaires attendu de plus d'un million d'euros.<\/p>\n<p>L'ancien homme politique Willem-Frederik Schiltz, qui a dirig\u00e9 le parti Open Vld \u00e0 Anvers, est le PDG de Cargo Velo depuis 2025 ; l'entreprise a r\u00e9cemment annonc\u00e9 une augmentation de capital d'un million d'euros. La marque De Fietskoerier sera progressivement supprim\u00e9e. Cargo Velo reprendra tous les coursiers de l'entreprise.<\/p>\n<h4>30% plus rapide qu'une camionnette de livraison<\/h4>\n<p>Selon Schiltz et Sim Codd\u00e9, directeur de De Fietskoerier, le v\u00e9lo est de loin le mode de transport le plus efficace en milieu urbain. Ils citent une \u00e9tude de la F\u00e9d\u00e9ration belge de la logistique cycliste qui montre qu'un coursier \u00e0 v\u00e9lo en ville arrive \u00e0 destination en moyenne 30% plus vite qu'une camionnette de livraison.<\/p>\n<p>De Fietskoerier a \u00e9t\u00e9 fond\u00e9 il y a 27 ans et est sp\u00e9cialis\u00e9, entre autres, dans les livraisons urgentes et le transport m\u00e9dical \u00e0 Anvers et dans ses environs. Cargo Velo a \u00e9t\u00e9 fond\u00e9e il y a 14 ans \u00e0 Gand et est d\u00e9sormais \u00e9galement active \u00e0 Bruxelles et \u00e0 Anvers. Stijn continuera \u00e0 travailler comme coursier \u00e0 Anvers ; Sim supervisera l'int\u00e9gration en coulisses dans les mois \u00e0 venir.<\/p>\n<h4>Encore une marge de progression<\/h4>\n<p>Selon la Belgian Cycle Logistics Federation, plus de 5 millions de colis ont \u00e9t\u00e9 livr\u00e9s par des coursiers \u00e0 v\u00e9lo en Belgique en 2024, soit 70% de plus que l'ann\u00e9e pr\u00e9c\u00e9dente.
