{"id":186241,"date":"2026-05-13T10:41:25","date_gmt":"2026-05-13T08:41:25","guid":{"rendered":"https:\/\/newmobility.news\/?p=186241"},"modified":"2026-05-13T11:38:46","modified_gmt":"2026-05-13T09:38:46","slug":"the-vinfast-trilogy-3-vietnams-electric-car-empire-now-targets-europe","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/newmobility.news\/fr\/2026\/05\/13\/the-vinfast-trilogy-3-vietnams-electric-car-empire-now-targets-europe\/","title":{"rendered":"La trilogie VinFast (3) : L'empire vietnamien de la voiture \u00e9lectrique vise d\u00e9sormais l'Europe"},"content":{"rendered":"<p>Si les villes artificielles de Vingroup \u00e0 l'ext\u00e9rieur de Hanoi symbolisent les nouvelles ambitions urbaines du Vi\u00eat Nam, le gigantesque complexe de fabrication VinFast pr\u00e8s de H\u1ea3i Ph\u00f2ng repr\u00e9sente quelque chose d'encore plus audacieux : la tentative du Vi\u00eat Nam de construire une industrie automobile enti\u00e8re presque \u00e0 partir de z\u00e9ro - et de l'exporter dans le monde entier.<\/p>\n<p>En traversant l'interminable campus industriel de l'\u00eele de C\u00e1t H\u1ea3i, on se rend vite compte que VinFast n'est pas simplement une autre start-up sp\u00e9cialis\u00e9e dans les v\u00e9hicules \u00e9lectriques qui assemble des pi\u00e8ces import\u00e9es dans un entrep\u00f4t.<\/p>\n<h4>Plus grande que la Gigafactory de Tesla \u00e0 Berlin<\/h4>\n<p>L'ampleur du projet se rapproche des \u00e9cosyst\u00e8mes industriels construits par Hyundai en Cor\u00e9e du Sud ou BYD en Chine : presses d'emboutissage g\u00e9antes, ateliers de carrosserie hautement automatis\u00e9s, assemblage de batteries, production de moteurs \u00e9lectriques, centres logistiques, parcs de fournisseurs, halls d'assemblage de bus, usines de scooters et longues cha\u00eenes d'assemblage final o\u00f9 plusieurs mod\u00e8les de v\u00e9hicules se d\u00e9placent c\u00f4te \u00e0 c\u00f4te sous d'interminables rang\u00e9es de robots et de convoyeurs.<\/p>\n<h4><img data-recalc-dims=\"1\" loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" class=\"aligncenter size-large wp-image-186269\" src=\"https:\/\/i0.wp.com\/newmobility.news\/wp-content\/uploads\/2026\/05\/Vinfast-factory-1.png?resize=640%2C398&#038;ssl=1\" alt=\"\" width=\"640\" height=\"398\" srcset=\"https:\/\/i0.wp.com\/newmobility.news\/wp-content\/uploads\/2026\/05\/Vinfast-factory-1-scaled.png?resize=1024%2C636&amp;ssl=1 1024w, https:\/\/i0.wp.com\/newmobility.news\/wp-content\/uploads\/2026\/05\/Vinfast-factory-1-scaled.png?w=1280&amp;ssl=1 1280w, https:\/\/i0.wp.com\/newmobility.news\/wp-content\/uploads\/2026\/05\/Vinfast-factory-1-scaled.png?w=1920&amp;ssl=1 1920w\" sizes=\"auto, (max-width: 640px) 100vw, 640px\" \/><\/h4>\n<p>Le complexe s'\u00e9tend sur environ 335 hectares - plus de 3 kilom\u00e8tres carr\u00e9s - et emploie environ 18 000 travailleurs qui travaillent en \u00e9quipes tournantes. Pour mettre cela en perspective, l'usine BMW de Leipzig couvre environ 250 hectares, la Gigafactory de Tesla \u00e0 Berlin environ 300 hectares, tandis que l'usine Volvo de Gand occupe \u00e0 peine un quart de cette surface.<\/p>\n<p>VinFast indique que le site de H\u1ea3i Ph\u00f2ng a \u00e9t\u00e9 construit en 21 mois seulement, avec un investissement initial de la premi\u00e8re phase d'environ $1,5 milliard.<\/p>\n<p>L'ambition est tout aussi grande. Les plans \u00e0 long terme de VinFast pr\u00e9voient une capacit\u00e9 de production annuelle proche d'un million de v\u00e9hicules, bien que des estimations plus prudentes fassent \u00e9tat d'environ 300 000 voitures particuli\u00e8res et d'un demi-million de scooters \u00e9lectriques par an, ainsi que d'autobus \u00e9lectriques pour les march\u00e9s nationaux et d'exportation.<\/p>\n<p>Mais l'aspect le plus remarquable est peut-\u00eatre que le Vietnam poss\u00e9dait \u00e0 peine une industrie moderne de voitures de tourisme il y a seulement dix ans. Aujourd'hui, le plus grand conglom\u00e9rat priv\u00e9 du pays tente de se positionner en tant que fabricant mondial de VE, en concurrence directe avec Tesla, BYD, Hyundai, Volkswagen et les constructeurs automobiles europ\u00e9ens \u00e9tablis.<\/p>\n<h4>Il ne s'agit pas d'une start-up sp\u00e9culative dans le domaine des v\u00e9hicules \u00e9lectriques.<\/h4>\n<p>Il n'est pas certain que cette ambition aboutisse. Mais apr\u00e8s avoir visit\u00e9 le complexe H\u1ea3i Ph\u00f2ng, il devient difficile de consid\u00e9rer VinFast comme une autre start-up sp\u00e9culative dans le domaine des v\u00e9hicules \u00e9lectriques.<\/p>\n<p>VinFast elle-m\u00eame n'a \u00e9t\u00e9 fond\u00e9e qu'en 2017 par le milliardaire Ph\u1ea1m Nh\u1eadt V\u01b0\u1ee3ng, le fondateur de Vingroup. Plut\u00f4t que d'accumuler lentement une expertise automobile au fil des d\u00e9cennies, l'entreprise a effectivement import\u00e9 d'un seul coup toute une cha\u00eene d'approvisionnement mondiale de connaissances.<\/p>\n<p>D'anciens cadres de GM, BMW et Magna Steyr ont \u00e9t\u00e9 recrut\u00e9s pour diriger les op\u00e9rations. Le sp\u00e9cialiste autrichien de l'ing\u00e9nierie Magna Steyr a contribu\u00e9 au d\u00e9veloppement des premiers v\u00e9hicules, tandis que l'agence de design italienne Pininfarina a stylis\u00e9 les premiers mod\u00e8les. Ghirardi a indiqu\u00e9 que la Belgique pourrait devenir l'une des prochaines cibles europ\u00e9ennes de VinFast vers 2027, apr\u00e8s la restructuration du r\u00e9seau de concessionnaires de l'entreprise aux Pays-Bas.<\/p>\n<h4>Construit sur l'expertise de BMW<\/h4>\n<p>Les premi\u00e8res voitures \u00e0 essence VinFast n'\u00e9taient pas des cr\u00e9ations enti\u00e8rement vietnamiennes. La berline Lux A2.0 et le SUV Lux SA2.0 \u00e9taient largement d\u00e9riv\u00e9s de plates-formes et de moteurs BMW plus anciens, ce qui a permis \u00e0 l'entreprise d'\u00e9viter des ann\u00e9es de d\u00e9veloppement technique co\u00fbteux.<\/p>\n<p>Au Vi\u00eat Nam, la strat\u00e9gie a remarquablement bien fonctionn\u00e9. Les mod\u00e8les offraient \u00e0 de nombreux consommateurs l'image et l'ADN technique des voitures haut de gamme allemandes \u00e0 des prix bien inf\u00e9rieurs \u00e0 ceux des BMW import\u00e9es.<\/p>\n<p>Mais l'\u00e8re de la combustion s'est av\u00e9r\u00e9e de courte dur\u00e9e. En 2021, VinFast a conclu qu'il serait pratiquement impossible de concurrencer Toyota, Volkswagen, Hyundai ou BMW sur le march\u00e9 mondial des v\u00e9hicules \u00e0 essence conventionnels. Les v\u00e9hicules \u00e9lectriques offraient une rare r\u00e9initialisation industrielle.<\/p>\n<p>Cette strat\u00e9gie explique l'\u00e9norme int\u00e9gration verticale visible dans l'ensemble du complexe H\u1ea3i Ph\u00f2ng. Aujourd'hui, de nombreuses usines automobiles europ\u00e9ennes fonctionnent principalement comme des usines d'assemblage final, d\u00e9pendant fortement de fournisseurs externes. Siemens a contribu\u00e9 \u00e0 \u00e9quiper certaines parties de l'infrastructure de l'usine et des syst\u00e8mes de fabrication num\u00e9rique, tandis que la robotique ABB est d\u00e9ploy\u00e9e dans tous les halls de production. Les syst\u00e8mes d'atelier de peinture ont \u00e9t\u00e9 fournis en partie par l'Allemand D\u00fcrr, tandis que les composants de la cha\u00eene cin\u00e9matique et du ch\u00e2ssis reposent en grande partie sur ZF.<\/p>\n<p>L'\u00e9cosyst\u00e8me des fournisseurs est lui-m\u00eame tr\u00e8s international, VinFast travaillant avec Bosch, Siemens, ABB, ZF, CATL, Gotion et de nombreux fabricants de composants asiatiques et europ\u00e9ens.<\/p>\n<p>Dans plusieurs halls, des ouvriers assemblent manuellement des syst\u00e8mes de batteries et des composants \u00e9lectroniques, tandis que des robots industriels situ\u00e9s \u00e0 proximit\u00e9 soudent des structures de carrosserie avec une intervention humaine minimale. Le contraste refl\u00e8te la nature hybride de l'industrialisation vietnamienne elle-m\u00eame : une automatisation tr\u00e8s avanc\u00e9e superpos\u00e9e \u00e0 une main-d'\u0153uvre encore relativement bon march\u00e9.<\/p>\n<h4>Main-d'\u0153uvre \u00e0 faible co\u00fbt<\/h4>\n<p>Les niveaux d'automatisation atteignent 90 % dans certaines sections de l'usine, avec plus de 1 200 robots industriels en service sur le site. Pourtant, malgr\u00e9 toute cette automatisation, des milliers de travailleurs se d\u00e9placent continuellement dans les halls d'assemblage, s'occupant de la logistique, des inspections et des op\u00e9rations d'assemblage final.<\/p>\n<p>En dehors de l'Europe, VinFast est encore souvent per\u00e7ue comme une start-up sp\u00e9cialis\u00e9e dans les v\u00e9hicules \u00e9lectriques. La VF3, au charme surprenant, est un minuscule v\u00e9hicule \u00e9lectrique urbain de forme carr\u00e9e, d\u00e9velopp\u00e9 \u00e0 l'origine pour les march\u00e9s \u00e9mergents tels que l'Inde, tandis que le crossover VF7, sans doute l'un des v\u00e9hicules les plus r\u00e9ussis visuellement de la gamme, \u00e9voque une interpr\u00e9tation plus compacte de l'EV6 de Kia.<\/p>\n<p>La v\u00e9ritable \u00e9pine dorsale de la mobilit\u00e9 vietnamienne reste n\u00e9anmoins le transport \u00e0 deux roues. Hanoi compte \u00e0 elle seule environ cinq millions de motos. Green SM exploite des flottes de taxis \u00e9lectriques, VinBus g\u00e8re les transports publics \u00e9lectriques et V-Green d\u00e9veloppe l'infrastructure de recharge, tandis que les projets immobiliers de Vingroup int\u00e8grent de plus en plus une grande partie de ce r\u00e9seau de mobilit\u00e9 dans les quartiers urbains nouvellement construits.<\/p>\n<p>Cet \u00e9cosyst\u00e8me est \u00e0 l'origine de l'un des plus grands avantages nationaux de VinFast : l'infrastructure de recharge. Gr\u00e2ce \u00e0 V-Green, l'\u00e9cosyst\u00e8me plus large de Vingroup revendique l'un des plus grands r\u00e9seaux de recharge de VE d'Asie du Sud-Est, avec des plans pour environ 150 000 ports de recharge dans tout le pays.<\/p>\n<p>Surtout, le r\u00e9seau reste largement exclusif aux v\u00e9hicules VinFast, cr\u00e9ant ainsi un \u00e9cosyst\u00e8me national prot\u00e9g\u00e9 de VE dans lequel les marques \u00e9trang\u00e8res ont du mal \u00e0 rivaliser avec VinFast en ce qui concerne la facilit\u00e9 de recharge, l'int\u00e9gration de la flotte, le r\u00e9seau de services et le soutien politique.<\/p>\n<h4>L'Europe constitue le prochain test majeur<\/h4>\n<p>VinFast a fait son entr\u00e9e officielle en Europe avec le SUV \u00e9lectrique VF 8, suivi plus r\u00e9cemment par le petit crossover VF 6. Les deux mod\u00e8les sont d\u00e9sormais propos\u00e9s en France, en Allemagne et aux Pays-Bas.<\/p>\n<p><img data-recalc-dims=\"1\" loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" class=\"aligncenter size-large wp-image-186279\" src=\"https:\/\/i0.wp.com\/newmobility.news\/wp-content\/uploads\/2026\/05\/Vinfast-68.png?resize=640%2C409&#038;ssl=1\" alt=\"\" width=\"640\" height=\"409\" srcset=\"https:\/\/i0.wp.com\/newmobility.news\/wp-content\/uploads\/2026\/05\/Vinfast-68.png?resize=1024%2C655&amp;ssl=1 1024w, https:\/\/i0.wp.com\/newmobility.news\/wp-content\/uploads\/2026\/05\/Vinfast-68.png?w=1280&amp;ssl=1 1280w\" sizes=\"auto, (max-width: 640px) 100vw, 640px\" \/><\/p>\n<p>Le VF 8 vise le segment tr\u00e8s disput\u00e9 des SUV \u00e9lectriques de taille moyenne en Europe, domin\u00e9 par des v\u00e9hicules tels que le Tesla Model Y, le Hyundai Ioniq 5, le Kia EV6, le Volkswagen ID.4 et, de plus en plus, par des rivaux chinois tels que BYD et XPeng.<\/p>\n<p>D'une longueur d'environ 4,75 m\u00e8tres, la VF 8 offre une transmission int\u00e9grale, jusqu'\u00e0 300 kW de puissance, une batterie de 87,7 kWh et une autonomie WLTP de pr\u00e8s de 470 kilom\u00e8tres selon les sp\u00e9cifications.<\/p>\n<p>La VF 6, plus petite, suit une philosophie similaire. Mesurant environ 4,24 m\u00e8tres de long, ce crossover combine une batterie LFP de 59,6 kWh avec une traction avant et une autonomie WLTP de plus de 400 kilom\u00e8tres.<\/p>\n<p>VinFast positionne ses deux mod\u00e8les de mani\u00e8re agressive sur l'\u00e9quipement et la garantie plut\u00f4t que sur le prix pur et simple. Les longues garanties, l'\u00e9quipement de s\u00e9rie g\u00e9n\u00e9reux et les batteries relativement grandes visent \u00e0 positionner l'entreprise comme une alternative orient\u00e9e vers la valeur sur le march\u00e9 encombr\u00e9 des VE en Europe.<\/p>\n<p>L'entreprise esp\u00e8re \u00e9galement que le \u2018Made in Vietnam\u2019 sera politiquement plus facile \u00e0 accepter en Europe que les importations chinoises, car Bruxelles surveille de plus pr\u00e8s les subventions chinoises aux v\u00e9hicules \u00e9lectriques et la surcapacit\u00e9 industrielle.<\/p>\n<p>Bien que VinFast ait b\u00e9n\u00e9fici\u00e9 d'un soutien politique fort, d'incitations fiscales, d'un soutien aux infrastructures et d'un traitement pr\u00e9f\u00e9rentiel au sein de l'\u00e9conomie vietnamienne dirig\u00e9e par l'\u00c9tat, l'entreprise reste officiellement priv\u00e9e et n'est pas per\u00e7ue en Europe comme faisant partie du m\u00eame vaste syst\u00e8me industriel dirig\u00e9 par l'\u00c9tat qui a contribu\u00e9 \u00e0 propulser de nombreux g\u00e9ants chinois du secteur des VE.<\/p>\n<h4>L'Europe reste brutalement comp\u00e9titive<\/h4>\n<p>Contrairement au Vi\u00eat Nam, VinFast p\u00e9n\u00e8tre sur un march\u00e9 o\u00f9 l'infrastructure de recharge existe d\u00e9j\u00e0, o\u00f9 les r\u00e9seaux de concessionnaires sont matures et o\u00f9 les consommateurs disposent de dizaines d'options pour les v\u00e9hicules \u00e9lectriques.<\/p>\n<p>La plus grande faiblesse de l'entreprise n'est pas l'\u00e9chelle de fabrication, mais la confiance.
