Face \u00e0 la contraction de ses parts de march\u00e9 et \u00e0 la surcapacit\u00e9, Stellantis reconfigure sa strat\u00e9gie mondiale en s'appuyant fortement sur son partenaire historique chinois, Dongfeng. Les deux groupes automobiles ont annonc\u00e9 un accord strat\u00e9gique pour produire en Chine de nouveaux v\u00e9hicules \u00e9lectrifi\u00e9s destin\u00e9s \u00e0 l'exportation. Cet accord montre que les constructeurs automobiles occidentaux s'appuient de plus en plus sur l'efficacit\u00e9 de la production chinoise.<\/p>\n

Lorsque Peugeot-Citro\u00ebn a pris le nom de PSA, il a cr\u00e9\u00e9 une entreprise commune avec le constructeur chinois Dongfeng (DPCA) pour p\u00e9n\u00e9trer ce march\u00e9 naissant. Cet accord a aujourd'hui 34 ans. Cet accord de longue dur\u00e9e b\u00e9n\u00e9ficie aujourd'hui d'une injection financi\u00e8re substantielle de la part de Stellantis, l'actuel propri\u00e9taire des marques fran\u00e7aises.<\/p>\n

En collaboration avec les autorit\u00e9s locales, le groupe injecte plus de 8 milliards de yuans (environ 1 milliard d'euros), la contribution de Stellantis s'\u00e9levant \u00e0 environ 130 millions d'euros.<\/p>\n

Peugeot et Jeep<\/h4>\n

Stellantis ne construit plus en Chine pour la Chine, mais aussi pour les march\u00e9s d'exportation. \u00c0 partir de 2027, l'usine DPCA de Wuhan fabriquera deux nouveaux mod\u00e8les Peugeot \u2018new energy\u2019 (\u00e9lectrifi\u00e9s). L'usine produira \u00e9galement deux v\u00e9hicules tout-terrain Jeep hybrides rechargeables, exclusivement pour les march\u00e9s internationaux.<\/p>\n

Selon les d\u00e9clarations du PDG de Stellantis, Antonio Filosa, l'objectif est de fusionner les forces des deux entit\u00e9s pour d\u00e9ployer des technologies \u00e9lectriques de pointe. Le pr\u00e9sident de Dongfeng, Yang Qing, a fait remarquer que cette collaboration donnera l'\u00e9lan n\u00e9cessaire \u00e0 l'alliance DPCA, qui a vu sa production fortement diminuer ces derni\u00e8res ann\u00e9es en raison de la mont\u00e9e en puissance rapide des concurrents chinois nationaux.<\/p>\n

Mariage de n\u00e9cessit\u00e9<\/h4>\n

La relance de ce partenariat intervient donc \u00e0 un moment critique pour les deux soci\u00e9t\u00e9s. Depuis sa cr\u00e9ation en 2021, Stellantis a connu un fort d\u00e9clin dans ses principales r\u00e9gions. En 2025, sa part de march\u00e9 en Europe \u00e9tait tomb\u00e9e de 22% \u00e0 16%, tandis que son empreinte aux \u00c9tats-Unis \u00e9tait pass\u00e9e de 11,6% \u00e0 8,2%.\u00a0<\/span><\/p>\n

Dongfeng, une entreprise publique qui a acquis une participation de 14% dans le Groupe PSA en difficult\u00e9 en 2014 (aujourd'hui dilu\u00e9e \u00e0 1,6% de Stellantis), est confront\u00e9e \u00e0 ses propres pressions nationales. Alors qu'elle d\u00e9tenait jusqu'\u00e0 14% du march\u00e9 chinois \u00e0 travers toutes ses coentreprises, les marques propres de Dongfeng n'ont repr\u00e9sent\u00e9 que 2,3% des ventes nationales l'ann\u00e9e derni\u00e8re. Les deux entreprises doivent relancer leurs activit\u00e9s.<\/span><\/p>\n

\u00c9galement en Europe<\/h4>\n

L'approfondissement de l'alliance s'inscrit dans le cadre d'un pivot industriel plus large. Pour faire face \u00e0 l'afflux de v\u00e9hicules \u00e9lectriques chinois rentables, Stellantis recherche activement des partenariats afin d'optimiser sa cha\u00eene d'approvisionnement et d'absorber les capacit\u00e9s exc\u00e9dentaires de ses usines europ\u00e9ennes. Le groupe a d\u00e9j\u00e0 annonc\u00e9 qu'il arr\u00eaterait la fabrication de voitures \u00e0 Poissy, pr\u00e8s de Paris, \u00e0 partir de 2028.<\/p>\n

Le groupe est \u00e9galement collaborer avec Leapmotor<\/a>, Leapmotor pr\u00e9voit de produire des v\u00e9hicules dans ses usines de Saragosse et de Madrid pour combler les lacunes. Une vente pure et simple de l'usine de Madrid \u00e0 l'entreprise commune Leapmotor serait \u00e0 l'\u00e9tude.\u00a0<\/span><\/p>\n

Et ce n'est pas fini. Des rapports de presse non confirm\u00e9s indiquent que Stellantis pourrait proposer \u00e0 Dongfeng des installations sous-utilis\u00e9es. Sur cette liste figurent l'usine Citro\u00ebn de Rennes, en France, ainsi que des sites en Italie (Cassino) et en Allemagne.<\/p>\n

Bien que Stellantis n'ait pas comment\u00e9 ces rapports, ces consid\u00e9rations s'alignent sur une tendance plus large de l'industrie ; BYD, en lice pour racheter l'usine de Dresde \u00e0 Volkswagen, et Xpeng recherchent aussi activement des actifs de fabrication europ\u00e9ens pour contourner d'\u00e9ventuels droits de douane.<\/p>","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"
