{"id":186684,"date":"2026-05-26T12:10:37","date_gmt":"2026-05-26T10:10:37","guid":{"rendered":"https:\/\/newmobility.news\/?p=186684"},"modified":"2026-05-26T10:57:41","modified_gmt":"2026-05-26T08:57:41","slug":"landshut-powers-bmws-ev-catch-up-and-hydrogen-bet","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/newmobility.news\/fr\/2026\/05\/26\/landshut-powers-bmws-ev-catch-up-and-hydrogen-bet\/","title":{"rendered":"Landshut permet \u00e0 BMW de rattraper son retard en mati\u00e8re de v\u00e9hicules \u00e9lectriques et de miser sur l'hydrog\u00e8ne"},"content":{"rendered":"<p>L'usine BMW Group de Landshut a commenc\u00e9 la production en pr\u00e9s\u00e9rie d'une version sp\u00e9cifique \u00e0 l'hydrog\u00e8ne de son \u201cEnergy Master\u201d, une unit\u00e9 de contr\u00f4le cl\u00e9 pour la future BMW iX5 Hydrogen.<\/p>\n<p>Parall\u00e8lement, le site allemand met en service une deuxi\u00e8me ligne de production pour la version \u00e9lectrique \u00e0 batterie du m\u00eame composant, utilis\u00e9e dans les mod\u00e8les Neue Klasse tels que la nouvelle BMW iX3 et la future i3.<\/p>\n<p>Cette d\u00e9cision place Landshut au centre de la strat\u00e9gie \u00e0 deux voies de BMW en mati\u00e8re d'\u00e9missions z\u00e9ro : d'une part, des v\u00e9hicules \u00e9lectriques \u00e0 batterie \u00e0 grand volume et, d'autre part, des v\u00e9hicules \u00e0 pile \u00e0 combustible \u00e0 hydrog\u00e8ne pour des cas d'utilisation s\u00e9lectionn\u00e9s.<\/p>\n<p>L'Energy Master est l'unit\u00e9 de commande centrale du syst\u00e8me haute tension. Dans les voitures \u00e9lectriques \u00e0 batterie, il se trouve sur la batterie haute tension.<\/p>\n<p>Dans l'iX5 Hydrogen, une version modifi\u00e9e sera install\u00e9e sur le syst\u00e8me de stockage \u00e0 plat de l'hydrog\u00e8ne de BMW, o\u00f9 elle g\u00e9rera les flux d'\u00e9nergie et de donn\u00e9es entre le syst\u00e8me de pile \u00e0 combustible, la batterie haute tension et les machines \u00e0 entra\u00eenement \u00e9lectrique.<\/p>\n<h4>Production enti\u00e8rement interne<\/h4>\n<p>Pour la premi\u00e8re fois, BMW d\u00e9veloppe et produit ce composant en interne, soulignant ainsi l'importance strat\u00e9gique de l'\u00e9lectronique de puissance \u00e0 l'\u00e8re des v\u00e9hicules \u00e9lectriques.<\/p>\n<p>Pour BMW, l'annonce de Landshut est plus qu'une simple histoire de composants. Elle marque l'industrialisation de l'ossature \u00e9lectrique de la Neue Klasse, l'architecture destin\u00e9e \u00e0 r\u00e9tablir la comp\u00e9titivit\u00e9 de la marque dans le domaine des voitures \u00e9lectriques.<\/p>\n<p>Avec cette nouvelle g\u00e9n\u00e9ration, BMW passe des VE 400 volts d'aujourd'hui \u00e0 un syst\u00e8me 800 volts, qui permet de charger jusqu'\u00e0 400 kW en courant continu. Sur la nouvelle iX3, BMW affirme qu'il est possible d'ajouter jusqu'\u00e0 372 kilom\u00e8tres d'autonomie WLTP en dix minutes dans des conditions id\u00e9ales.<\/p>\n<p>Avec les cellules cylindriques Gen6, une densit\u00e9 \u00e9nerg\u00e9tique plus \u00e9lev\u00e9e et une nouvelle architecture \u00e9lectronique, le passage \u00e0 800 volts est au c\u0153ur de la tentative de BMW de combler l'\u00e9cart avec les anciens leaders de la recharge rapide.<\/p>\n<h4>En retard dans le 800 volts ?<\/h4>\n<p>Cet \u00e9cart est bien r\u00e9el. Porsche a introduit la technologie 800 volts dans la production en s\u00e9rie avec la Taycan en 2019, en utilisant la tension plus \u00e9lev\u00e9e pour r\u00e9duire le courant, \u00e9conomiser le poids du c\u00e2ble et soutenir les performances de haute puissance r\u00e9p\u00e9t\u00e9es.<\/p>\n<p>Hyundai Motor Group a suivi avec sa plateforme E-GMP, sur laquelle reposeront des mod\u00e8les tels que la Hyundai Ioniq 5, la Kia EV6 et la Genesis GV60 \u00e0 partir de 2021.<\/p>\n<p>Ces voitures ont introduit la recharge rapide \u00e0 800 volts dans des segments de prix plus courants, avec des temps de charge de 10 \u00e0 80% d'environ 18 minutes sur des chargeurs adapt\u00e9s de 350 kW.<\/p>\n<p>Lucid est all\u00e9 encore plus loin avec une architecture 900V-plus pour l'Air, donnant la priorit\u00e9 \u00e0 l'efficacit\u00e9 et \u00e0 une puissance de charge tr\u00e8s \u00e9lev\u00e9e dans un ensemble sp\u00e9cialis\u00e9 haut de gamme.<\/p>\n<p>L'arriv\u00e9e tardive de BMW refl\u00e8te un choix strat\u00e9gique diff\u00e9rent. Apr\u00e8s la premi\u00e8re i3, l'entreprise a pass\u00e9 la majeure partie des ann\u00e9es 2010 et le d\u00e9but des ann\u00e9es 2020 \u00e0 construire des VE sur des architectures flexibles partag\u00e9es avec les mod\u00e8les \u00e0 combustion et les mod\u00e8les hybrides rechargeables.<\/p>\n<p>Cela a permis \u00e0 BMW de pr\u00e9server la flexibilit\u00e9 et les marges de l'usine pendant que la demande, la r\u00e9glementation et l'infrastructure de recharge \u00e9voluaient.<\/p>\n<p>Cela signifie \u00e9galement que des mod\u00e8les tels que les i4, iX, i5 et i7 \u00e9taient comp\u00e9titifs en termes d'autonomie et d'exp\u00e9rience de conduite, mais n'\u00e9taient pas les meilleurs de leur cat\u00e9gorie en termes d'architecture \u00e9lectrique.<\/p>\n<p>Neue Klasse est la r\u00e9ponse de BMW \u00e0 ce compromis : il ne s'agit pas simplement d'une mise \u00e0 niveau de 800 volts, mais d'une r\u00e9initialisation plus profonde du format de la batterie, du logiciel, de l'\u00e9lectronique de puissance et de la fabrication.<\/p>\n<h4>Principaux avantages<\/h4>\n<p>La question \u00e9vidente est de savoir pourquoi BMW s'arr\u00eate \u00e0 800 volts alors que certains concurrents annoncent 900 volts ou plus. La r\u00e9ponse r\u00e9side dans les rendements d\u00e9croissants et l'\u00e9chelle industrielle. Le passage de 400 \u00e0 800 volts r\u00e9duit de moiti\u00e9 le courant \u00e0 puissance de charge \u00e9gale, ce qui pr\u00e9sente des avantages majeurs en termes de chaleur, de c\u00e2bles, de connecteurs et de vitesse de charge.<\/p>\n<p>Passer de 800 V \u00e0 900 V ou 1 000 V est toujours utile, mais le gain suppl\u00e9mentaire est moindre, tandis que les exigences d'isolation, le co\u00fbt des composants, la validation et les probl\u00e8mes de compatibilit\u00e9 augmentent. Pour un fabricant de produits haut de gamme qui pr\u00e9voit d'\u00e9tendre l'architecture \u00e0 de nombreux mod\u00e8les, 800 V est un point de rep\u00e8re pragmatique plut\u00f4t qu'un plafond technique.<\/p>\n<p>Elle est \u00e9galement adapt\u00e9e \u00e0 l'infrastructure de recharge actuelle. En Europe, les chargeurs CCS de grande puissance sont de plus en plus souvent con\u00e7us pour la plage de tension de 800 V utilis\u00e9e par les voitures de 800 V, tandis que la charge de 400 kW r\u00e9pond d\u00e9j\u00e0 aux besoins pratiques de la plupart des v\u00e9hicules de tourisme \u00e0 longue distance.<\/p>\n<p>Des tensions plus \u00e9lev\u00e9es peuvent s'av\u00e9rer plus judicieuses pour les VE de luxe sp\u00e9cialis\u00e9s, les mod\u00e8les aux performances extr\u00eames ou les v\u00e9hicules lourds qui se dirigent vers la recharge en m\u00e9gawatts.<\/p>\n<p>Pour les voitures de base de BMW, la question commerciale la plus importante n'est pas de savoir si la tension du syst\u00e8me est de 800 V ou de 900 V, mais si la voiture peut supporter une courbe de charge forte, rester efficace \u00e0 des vitesses d'autoroute et \u00eatre construite de mani\u00e8re rentable \u00e0 l'\u00e9chelle.<\/p>\n<p>L'aspect hydrog\u00e8ne de l'histoire de Landshut doit \u00eatre lu de la m\u00eame mani\u00e8re pragmatique. BMW ne positionne pas l'hydrog\u00e8ne comme un substitut aux voitures \u00e9lectriques \u00e0 batterie.<\/p>\n<p>En revanche, elle maintient l'option pour les clients et les r\u00e9gions o\u00f9 le long rayon d'action, le ravitaillement rapide et la diversification des sources d'\u00e9nergie pourraient avoir de l'importance.<\/p>\n<p>La prochaine iX5 Hydrogen est pr\u00e9vue pour 2028, avec un nouveau concept de r\u00e9servoir qui, sous forme de prototype, revendique une autonomie de 750 kilom\u00e8tres. Son syst\u00e8me de pile \u00e0 combustible de troisi\u00e8me g\u00e9n\u00e9ration est en cours de d\u00e9veloppement avec Toyota, tandis que la production en s\u00e9rie de syst\u00e8mes de pile \u00e0 combustible est pr\u00e9vue \u00e0 l'usine BMW Group de Steyr.<\/p>\n<p>Landshut est donc un pont strat\u00e9gique. La m\u00eame usine met \u00e0 l'\u00e9chelle l'Energy Master pour les VE de la Neue Klasse tout en pr\u00e9parant la version sp\u00e9cifique \u00e0 l'hydrog\u00e8ne pour la future iX5 Hydrogen. Cela ne signifie pas que l'hydrog\u00e8ne deviendra un pilier du march\u00e9 de masse du jour au lendemain. L'infrastructure reste limit\u00e9e, l'hydrog\u00e8ne vert demeure co\u00fbteux et les v\u00e9hicules \u00e9lectriques \u00e0 batterie ont une longueur d'avance sur le march\u00e9.
