BYD introduit la technologie hybride rechargeable dans le segment B, une cat\u00e9gorie qui, jusqu'\u00e0 pr\u00e9sent, a \u00e9t\u00e9 contourn\u00e9e ou abandonn\u00e9e par les constructeurs automobiles.<\/b><\/p>\n

La Dolphin G DM-i vise directement le segment B en Europe. Il s'agit non seulement du premier mod\u00e8le d\u00e9velopp\u00e9 par BYD sp\u00e9cifiquement pour les march\u00e9s \u00e9trangers, mais aussi du seul PHEV actuellement en vente dans le segment B europ\u00e9en.<\/p>\n

Combler une lacune<\/h4>\n

Le segment B est le c\u0153ur du march\u00e9 automobile europ\u00e9en, et pourtant aucun grand constructeur ne vend actuellement de v\u00e9hicule hybride rechargeable dans cette cat\u00e9gorie. Renault a abandonn\u00e9 le Captur PHEV, invoquant des contraintes de co\u00fbt, et a opt\u00e9 pour la variante hybride int\u00e9grale, plus simple. Toyota, Volkswagen et d'autres constructeurs en sont rest\u00e9s \u00e0 des motorisations auto-chargeuses ou mild-hybrides dans cette cat\u00e9gorie.\u00a0<\/span><\/p>\n

Par cons\u00e9quent, l'initiative de BYD n'est pas un simple lancement de produit ; la marque comble une lacune dont le besoin n'est pas encore confirm\u00e9. La question du prix se pose.\u00a0<\/span><\/p>\n

En termes de dimensions (4 160 mm de long et 1 825 mm de large), la Dolphin G DM-i se situe directement \u00e0 c\u00f4t\u00e9 de la Toyota Yaris, de la Volkswagen Polo et de la Renault Clio. Malgr\u00e9 son nom, le mod\u00e8le pr\u00e9sente un style propre, avec de petits phares, une prise d'air active \u00e0 l'avant et une impression g\u00e9n\u00e9rale de g\u00e9n\u00e9rique. Il peut accueillir cinq personnes, mais les photos de l'int\u00e9rieur n'ont pas encore \u00e9t\u00e9 d\u00e9voil\u00e9es.\u00a0<\/span><\/p>\n

Port\u00e9e de plus de 1 000 km<\/h4>\n

Pour BYD, le groupe motopropulseur \u00e9lectrifi\u00e9 a beaucoup de sens. Bien qu'elle soit surtout connue comme fabricant de BEV et de batteries, l'entreprise r\u00e9alise la majorit\u00e9 de ses ventes europ\u00e9ennes avec des mod\u00e8les \u00e0 moteur \u00e0 combustion. La Dolphin G DM-i utilise sa technologie Super Hybrid DM-i exclusive, qui favorise la conduite \u00e9lectrique dans la plupart des conditions.\u00a0<\/span><\/p>\n

Le DM-i utilise un moteur \u00e9lectrique mont\u00e9 \u00e0 l'avant, et BYD confirme que le Dolphin atteint une autonomie combin\u00e9e WLTP de plus de 1 000 km avec une batterie pleine et un r\u00e9servoir plein. Les sp\u00e9cifications techniques d\u00e9finitives et les niveaux de finition seront publi\u00e9s lors d'un \u00e9v\u00e9nement de lancement officiel le mois prochain.\u00a0<\/span><\/p>\n

Mais \u00e9tant donn\u00e9 l'architecture de la plate-forme partag\u00e9e avec l'Atto 2 DM-i, on peut s'attendre \u00e0 un groupe motopropulseur similaire : un moteur \u00e0 essence atmosph\u00e9rique de 1,5 litre agissant comme g\u00e9n\u00e9rateur, associ\u00e9 \u00e0 un moteur \u00e9lectrique avant de 145 kW, avec un choix entre une batterie de 7,8 kWh (environ 40 km d'autonomie \u00e9lectrique) et un pack de 18 kWh (environ 90 km).<\/p>\n

Construit en Hongrie ?<\/h4>\n

Le cadre tarifaire de l'UE est un \u00e9l\u00e9ment cl\u00e9 qui d\u00e9finit la strat\u00e9gie de BYD en mati\u00e8re de v\u00e9hicules hybrides rechargeables. Alors que les mod\u00e8les \u00e9lectriques \u00e0 batterie de BYD sont soumis \u00e0 un droit d'importation suppl\u00e9mentaire de 17% en plus du droit standard de 10%, les v\u00e9hicules hybrides rechargeables en provenance de Chine ne sont pas soumis \u00e0 ces mesures punitives.<\/p>\n

Mais selon CarNewsChina, le Dolphin G DM-i est \u00e9galement un candidat s\u00e9rieux pour \u00eatre assembl\u00e9 dans l'usine europ\u00e9enne de BYD \u00e0 Szeged, en Hongrie. Une d\u00e9cision surprenante du point de vue du groupe motopropulseur, car cette usine cherche \u00e0 \u00e9viter les droits de douane qui ne s'appliquent pas \u00e0 la Dolphin en tant que PHEV.\u00a0<\/span><\/p>\n

Des concurrents comme Renault ont essay\u00e9 de s\u00e9duire les clients du segment B avec des moteurs \u00e0 essence \u00e9lectrifi\u00e9s, mais sans succ\u00e8s en raison des d\u00e9savantages en mati\u00e8re de prix. Le Dolphin DM-i n'a pas encore de ticket de prix. Pour garantir son succ\u00e8s, BYD devra donc d\u00e9montrer la rentabilit\u00e9 de son \u00e9cosyst\u00e8me chinois.<\/p>\n
