Entre-temps, Xpeng a confirm\u00e9 les discussions avec Volkswagen concernant l'utilisation d'une usine en Europe.<\/p>\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">Fin 2024, les tensions entre la direction de Volkswagen et ses salari\u00e9s ont atteint un point critique. Le constructeur automobile a menac\u00e9 de fermer des usines, tandis que les employ\u00e9s ont r\u00e9sist\u00e9 \u00e0 l'immense pression, avec des gr\u00e8ves g\u00e9n\u00e9ralis\u00e9es en perspective.<\/p>\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">Cependant, Volkswagen et le syndicat allemand IG Metall sont parvenus \u00e0 un accord. <a href=\"https:\/\/newmobility.news\/fr\/2024\/12\/23\/vw-wont-close-plants-in-germany-but-will-produce-less-with-fewer-people\/\">un compromis<\/a> dans le cadre des n\u00e9gociations collectives peu avant No\u00ebl 2024, ce qui a permis d'\u00e9viter d'importantes fermetures d'usines.<\/p>\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">En contrepartie, l'accord pr\u00e9voit 35 000 suppressions d'emplois d'ici \u00e0 2030, tandis que VW pr\u00e9voit de r\u00e9duire sa capacit\u00e9 de production en Allemagne de plus de 700 000 v\u00e9hicules, y compris des mod\u00e8les \u00e9lectriques \u00e0 batterie. \u00c0 l'\u00e9poque, l'entreprise avait d\u00e9clar\u00e9 que la convention collective permettrait de r\u00e9aliser des \u00e9conomies annuelles de 1,5 milliard d'euros sur les co\u00fbts de main-d'\u0153uvre d'ici \u00e0 2030.<\/p>\n<p>Un an et demi plus tard, Thomas Sch\u00e4fer, PDG de la marque VW, fait \u00e9tat de progr\u00e8s notables dans la r\u00e9duction des surcapacit\u00e9s. \u201cNous avons tout termin\u00e9, sauf la derni\u00e8re partie, l'usine d'Osnabr\u00fcck, pour laquelle nous cherchons encore une solution\u201d, a d\u00e9clar\u00e9 M. Sch\u00e4fer \u00e0 Automobilwoche.<\/p>\n<p>Volkswagen est parvenu \u00e0 cette r\u00e9duction en r\u00e9duisant les lignes de production sur les sites allemands, sans fermer d'usine. Seule la Gl\u00e4serne Manufaktur de Dresde a enti\u00e8rement arr\u00eat\u00e9 la production de voitures, comme nous l'avons d\u00e9j\u00e0 signal\u00e9, le site \u00e9tant d\u00e9sormais appel\u00e9 \u00e0 devenir un campus d'innovation.<\/p>\n<h4>Un projet qui change la donne<\/h4>\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">Selon l'Automobilwoche, VW a r\u00e9duit la production dans les usines de Zwickau et d'Emden de deux lignes \u00e0 une seule (chacune fonctionnant en deux \u00e9quipes). \u00c0 Wolfsburg, l'entreprise n'exploite plus que deux des quatre lignes d'origine. L'espace ainsi lib\u00e9r\u00e9 pourrait profiter au \u2018projet Gamechanger\u2019, une nouvelle m\u00e9thode de production visant \u00e0 construire des mod\u00e8les plus rapidement et plus efficacement.<\/p>\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">Volkswagen pr\u00e9voit de profiter du lancement de sa future plateforme \u00e9lectrique SSP et de la d\u00e9localisation de la production de la Golf au Mexique pour introduire un nouveau processus de production \u00e0 son si\u00e8ge de Wolfsburg. Bien que l'entreprise n'ait pas encore divulgu\u00e9 les d\u00e9tails du projet, elle a confirm\u00e9 que le concept inclura des m\u00e9thodes de moulage \u00e0 grande \u00e9chelle.<\/p>\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">\u00c9galement connu sous le nom de \"m\u00e9ga-coul\u00e9e\", ce proc\u00e9d\u00e9 permet de remplacer de nombreux composants individuels de la carrosserie par un petit nombre de grandes pi\u00e8ces moul\u00e9es. Tesla a \u00e9t\u00e9 le pionnier de cette approche dans l'industrie automobile, mais plusieurs constructeurs ont depuis adopt\u00e9 des m\u00e9thodes similaires, notamment Volvo Cars pour le prochain Volvo EX60.<\/p>\n<h4>Plate-forme SSP<\/h4>\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">L'Automobilwoche indique que le projet Gamechanger devrait entrer en vigueur d'ici la fin de la d\u00e9cennie pour les v\u00e9hicules \u00e9lectriques \u00e0 batterie construits \u00e0 Wolfsburg sur la plate-forme SSP, \u00e0 savoir la Golf \u00e9lectrique et un projet de SUV. Selon la logique de d\u00e9nomination actuelle, le v\u00e9hicule \u00e9lectrique compact s'appellerait ID. Golf, tout comme le VW T-Cross, plus petit, devrait devenir l'ID. Cross.<\/p>\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">En ce qui concerne le calendrier, Sch\u00e4fer a confirm\u00e9 au magazine anglais Autocar que VW ne lancera pas la ID. Golf avant la fin de la d\u00e9cennie : \u201cNous avons une gamme fantastique aujourd'hui, nous n'avons pas besoin d'une Golf \u00e9lectrique en 2028. Nous sommes bien pr\u00e9par\u00e9s avec ce que nous avons dans notre portefeuille de v\u00e9hicules\u201d.\u201d<\/p>\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">M. Sch\u00e4fer a \u00e9galement r\u00e9affirm\u00e9 que les premiers v\u00e9hicules bas\u00e9s sur la nouvelle plate-forme SSP proviendraient des marques haut de gamme Audi et Porsche :  \u201cLe SSP sera d\u00e9ploy\u00e9 dans toutes les marques du groupe VW. Nous commencerons par les marques haut de gamme... Ce sera d'abord Audi, puis Porsche, puis VW, et ainsi de suite.\u201d<\/p>\n<h4>Un partenariat avec les Chinois ?<\/h4>\n<p>Entre-temps, l'avenir de l'usine VW d'Osnabr\u00fcck reste incertain. La production y sera bient\u00f4t arr\u00eat\u00e9e et, comme le rapporte l'Automobilwoche, \u201cdes discussions ont \u00e9t\u00e9 men\u00e9es dans toutes les directions\u201d jusqu'\u00e0 pr\u00e9sent, sans r\u00e9sultat. Le partenaire chinois proche de VW, Xpeng, est maintenant \u00e9galement mentionn\u00e9 comme une partie int\u00e9ress\u00e9e potentielle, et des n\u00e9gociations seraient en cours concernant les capacit\u00e9s en Europe. Xpeng fabrique actuellement ses mod\u00e8les chez le constructeur sous contrat Magna Steyr en Autriche.<\/p>\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">Le Financial Times a cit\u00e9 Elvis Cheng, directeur g\u00e9n\u00e9ral de Xpeng pour l'Europe du Nord-Est, qui a d\u00e9clar\u00e9 : \u201cNous discutons avec Volkswagen pour voir s'il est possible de trouver un site ici en Europe\u201d : \"Nous discutons avec Volkswagen pour voir s'il est possible de trouver un site en Europe\".  L'usine d'Osnabr\u00fcck n'est pas explicitement mentionn\u00e9e.<\/p>\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\"><a href=\"https:\/\/www.electrive.com\/2026\/04\/21\/vw-ceo-blume-targets-capacity-reduction-of-up-to-one-million-vehicles\/\">En avril,<\/a> Oliver Blume, PDG du groupe VW, a d\u00e9clar\u00e9 que les usines europ\u00e9ennes de Volkswagen restaient trop ch\u00e8res et sous-utilis\u00e9es. L'entreprise pr\u00e9voit donc de r\u00e9duire davantage les surcapacit\u00e9s significatives tant en Chine qu'en Europe. Toutefois, M. Blume a r\u00e9affirm\u00e9 que Volkswagen avait l'intention d'\u00e9viter les fermetures d'usines en Allemagne gr\u00e2ce \u00e0 ce qu'il a qualifi\u00e9 d\u2018\u2019approche intelligente\".<\/p>\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">Il a cit\u00e9 Osnabr\u00fcck comme exemple : \u201cNous n\u00e9gocions avec des entreprises du secteur de la d\u00e9fense qui pourraient utiliser cette usine et conserver la main-d'\u0153uvre. C'est ce que j'entends par \u201dintelligent\". Nous devons d\u00e9velopper des voies pour r\u00e9duire nos propres surcapacit\u00e9s de la m\u00eame mani\u00e8re.\"<\/p>\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">Il est clair qu'un partenariat avec des entreprises chinoises pourrait, en th\u00e9orie, constituer l'une de ces voies. Stellantis pense de la m\u00eame mani\u00e8re et serait \u00e9galement en pourparlers avec Xpeng au sujet de la production dans des usines europ\u00e9ennes sous-utilis\u00e9es. Elle a \u00e9galement une coentreprise avec Leapmotor, qui ne cesse de s'\u00e9tendre.<\/p>\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">M. Cheng a \u00e9galement d\u00e9clar\u00e9 au Financial Times que la ligne de production de Steyr atteignait ses limites de capacit\u00e9 et que son entreprise envisageait de construire une nouvelle usine en Europe. \u201cNous pensons que toutes les usines ne peuvent pas r\u00e9pondre aux exigences de nos produits les plus r\u00e9cents ou futurs\u201d, a d\u00e9clar\u00e9 M.
