Stellantis a officiellement annonc\u00e9 le lancement europ\u00e9en de la nouvelle Dodge Charger, faisant traverser l'Atlantique \u00e0 la fois \u00e0 la Daytona 100 % \u00e9lectrique et \u00e0 la SIXPACK \u00e0 essence.<\/p>\n<p>En d'autres termes, cette \u00ab muscle car \u00bb dont l'Am\u00e9rique ne savait pas trop quoi faire se voit aujourd'hui offrir un passeport europ\u00e9en, un c\u00e2ble de recharge et une seconde chance.<\/p>\n<h4>Un timing int\u00e9ressant<\/h4>\n<p>Le timing est int\u00e9ressant. Aux \u00c9tats-Unis, la Charger Daytona \u00e9lectrique a connu des d\u00e9buts difficiles. Elle a remplac\u00e9 les anciennes Charger et Challenger \u00e9quip\u00e9es d'un V8 \u00e0 un moment o\u00f9 de nombreux fans de longue date de Dodge pleuraient encore la disparition du moteur Hemi.<\/p>\n<p>Et les acheteurs de v\u00e9hicules \u00e9lectriques n\u2019attendaient pas forc\u00e9ment un coup\u00e9 \u00e9lectrique muscl\u00e9 de pr\u00e8s de trois tonnes, dot\u00e9 d\u2019un bruit d\u2019\u00e9chappement artificiel. Non, cela n'a apparemment pas suffi \u00e0 faire oublier le V8 \u00e0 tout le monde.<\/p>\n<p>Alors, pourquoi l'Europe, et pourquoi maintenant ? La r\u00e9ponse semble tenir moins au volume qu'au positionnement. Stellantis ne semble pas vouloir relancer Dodge en tant que marque grand public de ce c\u00f4t\u00e9-ci de l'Atlantique.<\/p>\n<p>Au contraire, la marque utilise la Charger comme produit phare, vendue par le biais d'un r\u00e9seau d'importateurs sp\u00e9cialis\u00e9s \u00e0 ceux qui appr\u00e9cient toujours l'id\u00e9e de l'exc\u00e8s \u00e0 l'am\u00e9ricaine, mais de pr\u00e9f\u00e9rence avec des papiers d'immatriculation europ\u00e9ens.<\/p>\n<p>Cette mission incombe \u00e0 KW Auto. KW Auto, abr\u00e9viation de Klintberg &amp; Way Automotive, est l'importateur officiel europ\u00e9en des marques Dodge et Ram pour Stellantis. L'entreprise est charg\u00e9e de la distribution, du soutien aux concessionnaires, du service apr\u00e8s-vente et des travaux d'homologation men\u00e9s \u00e0 Bremerhaven, qui permettent d'adapter les mod\u00e8les am\u00e9ricains au march\u00e9 europ\u00e9en.<\/p>\n<h4>17 pays europ\u00e9ens<\/h4>\n<p>KW Auto indique qu'elle assurera la distribution par l'interm\u00e9diaire de plus de 140 concessionnaires agr\u00e9\u00e9s dans 17 pays europ\u00e9ens, tandis que l'homologation et l'adaptation aux r\u00e9glementations europ\u00e9ennes seront effectu\u00e9es dans son centre de transformation de Bremerhaven, en Allemagne.<\/p>\n<p>La gestion des pi\u00e8ces de rechange sera assur\u00e9e par Iron Parts. La version am\u00e9ricaine s'oriente vers le syst\u00e8me NACS, mais l'Europe est le fief du CCS2. Stellantis et KW Auto n'ont pas encore publi\u00e9 tous les d\u00e9tails techniques d\u00e9finitifs concernant la Daytona europ\u00e9enne.<\/p>\n<p>Et KW Auto indique toujours que l'homologation Daytona est en cours de d\u00e9veloppement. Il faut s'attendre \u00e0 ce que la version essence SIXPACK soit commercialis\u00e9e \u00e0 partir d'environ 70 000 \u20ac, tandis que la Daytona \u00e9lectrique devrait largement d\u00e9passer les 90 000 \u20ac dans les finitions haut de gamme.<\/p>\n<p>Le calendrier de lancement dans les diff\u00e9rents pays n'a pas encore \u00e9t\u00e9 pr\u00e9cis\u00e9.
