Renault s'appuie sur la nouvelle Renault 4 \u00e9lectrique, la petite s\u0153ur pratique de la Renault 5 E-Tech, et l'\u00e9quipe d'un toit en tissu noir dot\u00e9 d'une ouverture de 92 cm de long et 80 cm de large.<\/p>\n<p>Cela repr\u00e9sente pr\u00e8s d'un m\u00e8tre carr\u00e9 de ciel, suffisamment pour que les passagers avant et arri\u00e8re puissent profiter ensemble de cette exp\u00e9rience \u00e0 ciel ouvert. Il s'ouvre ou se ferme en une dizaine de secondes, soit en appuyant sur un bouton, soit en demandant \u00e0 Reno, l'avatar num\u00e9rique de Renault.<\/p>\n<p>Il peut m\u00eame \u00eatre utilis\u00e9 pendant la conduite \u00e0 une vitesse pouvant atteindre 90 km\/h, ce qui est tr\u00e8s pratique lorsque le soleil fait soudainement son apparition au-dessus de Bruxelles ou qu'un orage \u00e9clate cinq minutes plus tard.<\/p>\n<p>Ce qui rend la Plein Sud int\u00e9ressante, c'est que Renault s'est vraiment efforc\u00e9 de ne pas en faire un mod\u00e8le ridicule. Vous pouvez toujours transporter des skis, une armoire ou le poids \u00e9motionnel li\u00e9 \u00e0 la commande d'un v\u00e9hicule \u00e9lectrique \u00e0 toit en toile.<\/p>\n<p>M\u00eame ses qualit\u00e9s de voiture de vacances sont pr\u00e9serv\u00e9es. Renault pr\u00e9cise que la Plein Sud conserve la capacit\u00e9 de remorquage de 750 kg de la R4 E-Tech standard, ce qui signifie qu'il est toujours possible de tracter une petite remorque ou une petite caravane.<\/p>\n<p>C'est important, car Renault ne pr\u00e9sente pas ce mod\u00e8le comme un simple jouet destin\u00e9 \u00e0 \u00eatre utilis\u00e9 deux week-ends ensoleill\u00e9s par an. Son ambition est bien plus grande : une voiture pour les jours de semaine, les week-ends, les trajets quotidiens, la vie de famille et, pourquoi pas, quelques moments de pur plaisir \u00e0 rouler les cheveux au vent.<\/p>\n<p>La configuration m\u00e9canique est volontairement simple. La Plein Sud est propos\u00e9e avec une seule combinaison de batterie et de moteur : une batterie lithium-ion de 52 kWh et un moteur \u00e9lectrique de 110 kW, d\u00e9veloppant un couple de 245 Nm, un 0 \u00e0 100 km\/h en 8,2 secondes, un 80 \u00e0 120 km\/h en 6,4 secondes et une vitesse maximale limit\u00e9e \u00e0 150 km\/h.<\/p>\n<h4>392 km d'autonomie selon le WLTP<\/h4>\n<p>Renault annonce une autonomie WLTP pouvant atteindre 392 km pour la version Techno, la perte d'autonomie par rapport \u00e0 la version \u00e0 toit fixe \u00e9quivalente \u00e9tant limit\u00e9e \u00e0 7 km. Le m\u00e9canisme du toit n'ajoute que 19 kg, gr\u00e2ce \u00e0 des composants en polym\u00e8re et \u00e0 un m\u00e9canisme \u00e0 trois plis, au lieu des quatre plis habituellement utilis\u00e9s dans les syst\u00e8mes similaires.<\/p>\n<p>La recharge rel\u00e8ve davantage de la modernit\u00e9 que du romantisme. La Plein Sud est \u00e9quip\u00e9e d'un chargeur bidirectionnel CA de 11 kW et d'un chargeur CC de 100 kW. Renault annonce 4 heures 30 minutes pour passer de 10 \u00e0 100 % en CA et 30 minutes pour passer de 15 \u00e0 80 % en CC.<\/p>\n<p>Les bornes CC compatibles prennent en charge la fonction \u00ab Plug &amp; Charge \u00bb ; un planificateur d'itin\u00e9raire \u00e9lectrique permet de pr\u00e9chauffer la batterie et de r\u00e9organiser les arr\u00eats ; enfin, la recharge bidirectionnelle offre une puissance V2L de 3,7 kW pour alimenter des appareils externes.<\/p>\n<p>Dans les pays o\u00f9 cette technologie est disponible, le V2G permet m\u00eame de r\u00e9injecter de l'\u00e9nergie dans le r\u00e9seau. En Belgique, des essais sont en cours \u00e0 Gand, mais \u00e0 ce jour, le cadre juridique n\u00e9cessaire n'est pas encore en place.<\/p>\n<p>En d'autres termes, la Plein Sud a peut-\u00eatre l'allure d'une voiture de plage, mais elle se veut aussi une petite centrale \u00e9lectrique domestique dot\u00e9e d'une sellerie de meilleure qualit\u00e9.<\/p>\n<p>Le passage \u00e0 la capote souple n'a pas fait oublier \u00e0 Renault son orientation SUV. Le v\u00e9hicule repose sur la petite plateforme RGEV et conserve sa suspension arri\u00e8re multibras.<\/p>\n<p>La fonction Extended Grip ajoute les modes \u00ab Neige \u00bb et \u00ab Tout-terrain \u00bb via les r\u00e9glages MULTI-SENSE, en utilisant le contr\u00f4le de traction pour faciliter la conduite sur des surfaces glissantes ou instables. Le syst\u00e8me OpenR Link, qui int\u00e8gre Google, permet d'acc\u00e9der \u00e0 Google Maps, \u00e0 Google Assistant, aux applications Google Play, ainsi qu'\u00e0 Apple CarPlay et Android Auto en mode sans fil.<\/p>\n<p>Reno peut r\u00e9pondre \u00e0 vos questions sur les v\u00e9hicules \u00e9lectriques, programmer la recharge et ouvrir ou fermer le toit. La voiture propose \u00e9galement la conduite \u00e0 une seule p\u00e9dale sur les versions Techno et Iconic, un syst\u00e8me de pompe \u00e0 chaleur de 8 kW pour le confort de l'habitacle, et jusqu'\u00e0 28 syst\u00e8mes d'aide \u00e0 la conduite, dont l'Active Driver Assist, la surveillance du conducteur, l'assistance au freinage d'urgence, le Safety Score et le Safety Coach.<\/p>\n<h4>Plus une sandale de plage qu'une voiture familiale<\/h4>\n<p>C'est l\u00e0 que la nouvelle voiture se distingue radicalement de son a\u00een\u00e9e. La Renault 4 Plein Air d'origine, lanc\u00e9e en 1968 et produite en tr\u00e8s petit nombre par Sinpar, \u00e9tait une Renault 4 dont on avait retir\u00e9 le toit et les portes, sacrifiant ainsi sans m\u00e9nagement toute notion de praticit\u00e9.<\/p>\n<p>C'\u00e9tait plus une voiture de plage qu'une voiture familiale, une cousine ensoleill\u00e9e de la Citro\u00ebn M\u00e9hari, de la Mini Moke et de la Fiat Jolly. Elle \u00e9tait charmante, rare, et pas vraiment un best-seller. Aujourd'hui, sa raret\u00e9 fait partie de sa l\u00e9gende.<\/p>\n<p>Le Plein Sud en reprend l'esprit, mais pas la folie. L\u00e0 o\u00f9 le Plein Air a dit adieu aux portes, le Plein Sud se contente d'ouvrir le ciel.<\/p>\n<p>Alors que le mod\u00e8le des ann\u00e9es 60 rivalisait avec des petites voitures de loisirs, le nouveau mod\u00e8le doit faire face \u00e0 une concurrence bien plus s\u00e9rieuse : la Jeep Avenger Electric, la Fiat 600e, la Mini Aceman, la Peugeot e-2008, l'Opel Mokka Electric et la Ford Puma Gen-E.<\/p>\n<p>La plupart d'entre elles peuvent offrir des \u00e9crans, une bonne autonomie et une conduite polyvalente. Presque aucune ne peut recr\u00e9er l'ambiance nostalgique des vacances en Renault d'antan, avec un toit ouvrant suffisamment spacieux pour que les passagers arri\u00e8re puissent en profiter.<\/p>\n<p>C'est l\u00e0 le v\u00e9ritable enjeu pour Renault. Le constructeur n'a pas besoin du Plein Sud pour r\u00e9inventer le v\u00e9hicule \u00e9lectrique. Il en a besoin pour rendre la R4 plus m\u00e9morable, plus s\u00e9duisante et plus facile \u00e0 distinguer sur un march\u00e9 o\u00f9 de nombreux petits SUV \u00e9lectriques commencent \u00e0 ressembler \u00e0 autant de variantes d'un m\u00eame mod\u00e8le.<\/p>\n<p>Avec le Plein Sud, Renault se dote d'une version haut de gamme ax\u00e9e sur l'art de vivre, d'un coup de pouce \u00e0 son image estival et d'un nouveau chapitre dans son histoire \u00ab r\u00e9tro-\u00e9lectrique \u00bb.<\/p>\n<p>L'ancienne Plein Air \u00e9tait trop d\u00e9nud\u00e9e pour le monde r\u00e9el. La nouvelle Plein Sud garde ses v\u00eatements, mais d\u00e9fait le bouton du haut.
