Bien que le groupe soit en passe de supprimer 50 000 emplois, il a d\u00e9clar\u00e9 que \u201c le mod\u00e8le \u00e9conomique ne fonctionne plus aujourd'hui \u201d.\u201d<\/p>\n<p>Volkswagen est confront\u00e9 \u00e0 de grandes difficult\u00e9s face aux r\u00e9alit\u00e9s actuelles de la construction automobile, \u00e0 tel point que la question n'est plus de savoir si les co\u00fbts peuvent \u00eatre ma\u00eetris\u00e9s, mais si le groupe a perdu de sa pertinence.<\/p>\n<h4>\u2018 \u00c7a ne marche plus aujourd\u2019hui \u2019<\/h4>\n<p>Pour Volkswagen, retrouver sa comp\u00e9titivit\u00e9 alors que BYD, Leapmotor, MG et Geely grignotent ses parts de march\u00e9 en Chine et en Europe s'av\u00e8re \u00eatre une t\u00e2che bien plus ardue que quiconque ne l'avait pr\u00e9vu.<\/p>\n<p>Le principal probl\u00e8me r\u00e9side dans le fait que le plus grand constructeur automobile europ\u00e9en reste organis\u00e9 comme une entreprise deux fois plus grande. M. Blume s\u2019emploie \u00e0 r\u00e9duire l\u2019empreinte du groupe, et bien que son plan soit en bonne voie, il en pr\u00e9sentera prochainement une version r\u00e9vis\u00e9e, car la pr\u00e9c\u00e9dente ne suffira pas. M\u00eame les membres de son propre conseil d\u2019administration se demandent d\u00e9sormais si le groupe survivra.<\/p>\n<p>Lors de l'assembl\u00e9e g\u00e9n\u00e9rale annuelle, le PDG Oliver Blume n'a pas cherch\u00e9 \u00e0 \u00e9dulcorer son message. Il a admis que le mod\u00e8le \u00e9conomique de Volkswagen \u201c avait fait ses preuves pendant des d\u00e9cennies \u201d, mais qu'il \u201c ne fonctionne plus aujourd'hui \u201d. Le dirigeant du deuxi\u00e8me constructeur automobile mondial vient d'annoncer aux actionnaires que l'ancien mod\u00e8le \u00e9tait bon pour la poubelle.<span class=\"Apple-converted-space\">\u00a0<\/span><\/p>\n<p>Le nouveau \u2018 Plan pour l\u2019avenir \u2019 visera un retour \u00e0 un taux de 8 \u00e0 10 % sur le chiffre d\u2019affaires d\u2019ici 2030. M. Blume affirme qu\u2019il a besoin de ce pourcentage pour financer la transition vers davantage d\u2019\u00e9lectrification et de conduite autonome, tout en maintenant le versement d\u2019un dividende. Mais pour l\u2019instant, il n\u2019est m\u00eame pas en mesure de d\u00e9fendre l\u2019objectif de 4%, que les analystes qualifient d\u00e9j\u00e0 d\u2019optimiste.<\/p>\n<p>Ainsi, un objectif de 8 \u00e0 10 % est tr\u00e8s ambitieux. Sur le plan technologique, les voitures elles-m\u00eames restent dans la course face \u00e0 la concurrence, mais elles ne g\u00e9n\u00e8rent plus autant de b\u00e9n\u00e9fices qu\u2019auparavant.<\/p>\n<h4>Un soulagement bien maigre<\/h4>\n<p>En 2023, le groupe a enregistr\u00e9 un r\u00e9sultat d'exploitation de 22,5 milliards d'euros. L'ann\u00e9e derni\u00e8re, ce chiffre s'est effondr\u00e9 \u00e0 8,9 milliards d'euros. Le r\u00e9sultat net de 2025 a chut\u00e9 de 44% pour s'\u00e9tablir \u00e0 6,9 milliards d'euros. Le premier trimestre de 2026 n'a gu\u00e8re apport\u00e9 de r\u00e9pit, avec une marge d'exploitation de seulement 3,3%.<\/p>\n<p>Sans compter les r\u00e9percussions g\u00e9opolitiques. Presque chaque euro \u00e9conomis\u00e9 est englouti par de nouveaux droits de douane et barri\u00e8res commerciales.<\/p>\n<p>Volkswagen a r\u00e9affirm\u00e9 son intention de supprimer 50 000 emplois au sein de VW, Audi, Porsche et de sa division logicielle Cariad d'ici 2030. Sur ce total, 35 000 suppressions concerneront \u00e0 elles seules la marque phare VW.<\/p>\n<p>D\u2019ici fin 2026, les effectifs auront d\u00e9j\u00e0 diminu\u00e9 de 19 000 personnes, tandis que 28 000 d\u00e9parts volontaires sont pr\u00e9vus. Mais licencier des salari\u00e9s ne fait pas augmenter les ventes de vos voitures.<\/p>\n<p>Les co\u00fbts de production sur les sites allemands ont baiss\u00e9 de plus de 20% en 2025. Cela semble \u00eatre un succ\u00e8s, jusqu\u2019\u00e0 ce qu\u2019on compare ces chiffres \u00e0 ceux de la capacit\u00e9 de production. Blume pr\u00e9voit de r\u00e9duire encore la capacit\u00e9 de production des usines europ\u00e9ennes de 500 000 v\u00e9hicules d\u2019ici 2030.<\/p>\n<p>Cela s'ajoute \u00e0 la r\u00e9duction d\u00e9j\u00e0 pr\u00e9vue d'un million d'unit\u00e9s d'ici 2028. La Chine conna\u00eetra une baisse \u00e9quivalente. D'ici la fin de la d\u00e9cennie, la capacit\u00e9 annuelle mondiale diminuera d'environ un million de voitures.<\/p>\n<h4>Il ne reste plus que cette voix ind\u00e9pendante<\/h4>\n<p>La crise se r\u00e9percute jusqu\u2019aux plus hauts \u00e9chelons. Un \u2018 audit des convictions \u2019 interne, divulgu\u00e9 cette semaine aux m\u00e9dias allemands, a r\u00e9v\u00e9l\u00e9 \u00e0 quel point le conseil d\u2019administration est r\u00e9ellement inquiet. Selon ces informations, six des neuf membres du conseil d\u2019administration estiment que \u201c l\u2019existence du groupe est menac\u00e9e \u201d.\u201d<\/p>\n<p>Le conseil d'administration semble avoir du mal \u00e0 rester fid\u00e8le \u00e0 ses principes. Susanne Wiegand, seule \u2018 voix ind\u00e9pendante \u2019 au sein du conseil et pr\u00e9sidente du comit\u00e9 d'audit, a d\u00e9missionn\u00e9. Elle \u00e9tait en poste depuis moins d'un an.<\/p>\n<p>La recette de Wolfsburg avait fait ses preuves. D\u00e9velopper en Allemagne, fabriquer en Europe, vendre dans le monde entier et engranger des b\u00e9n\u00e9fices en Chine. Cette strat\u00e9gie a perdu de son efficacit\u00e9.<\/p>\n<p>Le g\u00e9ant allemand s'est d\u00e9sormais joint \u00e0 Stellantis et \u00e0 Renault pour faire pression sur Bruxelles en faveur de r\u00e8gles relatives au contenu local \u2018 Made in Europe \u2019, dans l'espoir de prot\u00e9ger la cha\u00eene d'approvisionnement du continent contre les composants \u00e9trangers bon march\u00e9.<\/p>\n<p>La r\u00e9ponse de Blume consiste donc \u00e0 \u00e9laborer un \u00e9ni\u00e8me plan. Il souhaite le pr\u00e9senter au conseil d'administration cet \u00e9t\u00e9. Ce plan pourrait impliquer la fermeture d'autres usines. Mais la ma\u00eetrise des co\u00fbts passe par un d\u00e9clin contr\u00f4l\u00e9.
