Mais pour la future \u2018 Baby-G \u2019 \u00e9lectrique, la marque a revu ses plans et se tourne d\u00e9sormais vers l'Est.<\/p>\n<p>Selon Automobilwoche, l'usine allemande de Rastatt ne se verra pas attribuer le contrat. La plus petite G de tous les temps sera tr\u00e8s probablement fabriqu\u00e9e par la division hongroise et sortira des cha\u00eenes de production de Kecskem\u00e9t \u00e0 partir de 2027.<\/p>\n<p>Le raisonnement est sans appel. Mercedes a investi environ un milliard d'euros dans l'usine de Kecskem\u00e9t, ce qui a permis de presque doubler sa capacit\u00e9 de production, qui se situe d\u00e9sormais entre 300 000 et 400 000 v\u00e9hicules par an. Les effectifs hongrois de l'usine vont quant \u00e0 eux pratiquement doubler pour atteindre environ 7 500 personnes.<span class=\"Apple-converted-space\">\u00a0<\/span><\/p>\n<h4>De 15 \u00e0 pr\u00e8s de 30 pour cent<\/h4>\n<p>Dans le m\u00eame temps, le trio allemand compos\u00e9 de Sindelfingen, Rastatt et Br\u00eame doit se partager 900 000 unit\u00e9s (soit une chute d'environ 100 000 unit\u00e9s par an).<\/p>\n<p>Le site de Kecskem\u00e9t est appel\u00e9 \u00e0 devenir la plus grande usine de Mercedes en Europe, ce qui fera passer sa part dans la production europ\u00e9enne de la marque d'environ 15 % \u00e0 pr\u00e8s de 30 %.<\/p>\n<p>La Baby G sera construite sur la plateforme MMA, qu'elle partage avec la nouvelle CLA \u00e9lectrique, et viendra ainsi compl\u00e9ter une gamme en pleine expansion qui comprend d\u00e9j\u00e0 la Classe C \u00e9lectrique, le GLB \u00e9lectrique et la Classe A \u00e9quip\u00e9e de moteurs thermiques, dont la production a \u00e9t\u00e9 transf\u00e9r\u00e9e de Rastatt afin de prolonger son cycle de vie jusqu'en 2028.<\/p>\n<p>\u00c0 l'origine, Mercedes pr\u00e9voyait que la Baby G, qui s'inscrit dans le cadre d'un plan visant \u00e0 lancer 40 nouveaux mod\u00e8les d'ici 2030, soit non seulement construite en Allemagne, mais aussi qu'elle soit exclusivement \u00e9lectrique.<\/p>\n<p>Puis, la prime fiscale f\u00e9d\u00e9rale am\u00e9ricaine pour les v\u00e9hicules \u00e9lectriques a pris fin et la demande s'est ralentie, ce qui a pouss\u00e9 Ola K\u00e4llenius \u00e0 revoir sa strat\u00e9gie. D\u00e9sormais, la \u201c Little G \u201d, comme l'appelle son PDG, sera \u00e9galement propos\u00e9e avec une motorisation hybride.<\/p>\n<p>Il s'agira tr\u00e8s certainement d'un moteur \u00e0 combustion de 1,5 litre \u00e0 assistance \u00e9lectrique, comme celui qui \u00e9quipe l'actuelle CLA. La version \u00e9lectrique devrait \u00eatre \u00e9quip\u00e9e d'une batterie NMC de 85 kWh et de deux moteurs, avec une autonomie annonc\u00e9e pouvant atteindre 724 kilom\u00e8tres.<\/p>\n<h4>Encore plus de douleur<\/h4>\n<p>Le transfert pr\u00e9vu de l'Allemagne vers la Hongrie s'inscrit dans le cadre du programme de r\u00e9duction des co\u00fbts de K\u00e4llenius, qui vise \u00e0 r\u00e9duire les co\u00fbts de production de 10 % entre 2024 et 2027. Ce programme pr\u00e9voit notamment une \u00e9ventuelle allongation du temps de travail pour un salaire inchang\u00e9. La r\u00e9action des syndicats \u00e9tait pr\u00e9visible. IG Metall a annonc\u00e9 son intention d'organiser des manifestations contre ces projets.<\/p>\n<p>Pour les syndicats allemands, la situation pourrait encore s'aggraver. Dans le cadre des droits de douane am\u00e9ricains, Mercedes pr\u00e9voit \u00e9galement de transf\u00e9rer la production du GLC de Br\u00eame \u00e0 Tuscaloosa, une partie de ce volume europ\u00e9en pouvant \u00eatre transf\u00e9r\u00e9e \u00e0 Kecskem\u00e9t. Cela signifierait que le best-seller mondial de Mercedes serait \u00e9galement fabriqu\u00e9 sur les cha\u00eenes de production hongroises.<\/p>\n<p>La \u00ab Little G \u00bb sera pr\u00e9sent\u00e9e comme une entr\u00e9e de gamme abordable dans la l\u00e9gende de la Classe G.
