\u00c0 peine trois semaines apr\u00e8s avoir rachet\u00e9 le site de 30 hectares du constructeur d'autobus Van Hool, en faillite, l'entrepreneur Gerrit den Otter a d\u00e9j\u00e0 revendu ce terrain.\u00a0<\/span><\/p>\n

Le nouveau propri\u00e9taire est le groupe de construction Mourik, dont le si\u00e8ge se trouve \u00e0 Anvers.\u00a0<\/span>Le montant de l'acquisition n'a pas \u00e9t\u00e9 divulgu\u00e9,\u00a0<\/span>m\u00eame si, selon certaines sources, le terrain aurait \u00e9t\u00e9 vendu \u201c avec un b\u00e9n\u00e9fice \u201d.\u201d<\/span><\/p>\n

Biddit<\/h4>\n

La famille Van Hool avait acquis ce site dans la perspective d'une expansion future de ses activit\u00e9s, mais ces projets ne se sont jamais concr\u00e9tis\u00e9s. En avril 2024, le constructeur d'autobus bas\u00e9 \u00e0 Koningshooikt a fait faillite. <\/span><\/p>\n

Les administrateurs judiciaires de Van Hool ont ensuite d\u00e9cid\u00e9, \u00e0 la mi-juin, de mettre en vente le terrain inoccup\u00e9 adjacent \u00e0 l'entreprise sur le site d'ench\u00e8res Biddit.<\/span><\/p>\n

Gerrit den Otter, un concessionnaire n\u00e9erlandais sp\u00e9cialis\u00e9 dans les camions, les remorques et les grues, a pr\u00e9sent\u00e9 l'offre la plus \u00e9lev\u00e9e \u2013 21,5 millions d'euros \u2013 et est devenu le nouveau propri\u00e9taire du site. Il souhaitait am\u00e9nager rapidement ce terrain et \u00e9ventuellement le lotir, mais n'avait pas de projet pr\u00e9cis \u00e0 ce sujet.<\/span><\/p>\n

Gouvernement flamand<\/h4>\n

Le gouvernement flamand a \u00e9galement pr\u00e9sent\u00e9 une offre pour ce terrain, car il souhaite conserver le contr\u00f4le sur les rares grands sites industriels d'un seul tenant. <\/span><\/p>\n

\u201c La Flandre souhaite pr\u00e9server ces terres en vue du d\u00e9veloppement futur de la production industrielle \u201d, avait expliqu\u00e9 \u00e0 l'\u00e9poque le Premier ministre Matthias Diependaele.\u00a0<\/span>Diependale souhaitait emp\u00eacher que ce terrain ne tombe entre les mains de sp\u00e9culateurs ou ne soit morcel\u00e9.<\/span><\/p>\n

Entre-temps, il a d\u00e9j\u00e0 revendu le site \u00e0 NV Mourik, une filiale du groupe n\u00e9erlandais Mourik \u2013 une multinationale sp\u00e9cialis\u00e9e dans les projets complexes d'infrastructure et de construction industrielle \u2013 fond\u00e9e en 1933.<\/span><\/p>\n

Groupe Mourik<\/h4>\n

Mourik est pr\u00e9sente dans plusieurs pays europ\u00e9ens ainsi qu'en Colombie, emploie 2 200 personnes \u00e0 travers le monde et a r\u00e9alis\u00e9 un chiffre d'affaires de 781 millions d'euros l'ann\u00e9e derni\u00e8re. Mourik est implant\u00e9e \u00e0 Anvers depuis 1974, et sa filiale belge emploie 350 personnes.<\/span><\/p>\n

Mourik a particip\u00e9 \u00e0 divers projets, notamment la construction de l'unit\u00e9 de craquage d'\u00e9thane d'Ineos dans le port d'Anvers ; l'entreprise a \u00e9galement \u00e9t\u00e9 charg\u00e9e de la construction des sous-sols de l'h\u00f4tel de luxe Botanic Sanctuary et a men\u00e9 des travaux de d\u00e9mant\u00e8lement nucl\u00e9aire et d'assainissement \u00e0 Dessel et \u00e0 Gand.<\/span><\/p>\n

\u2018 Investissement strat\u00e9gique \u2019<\/h4>\n

Ronny Bertels, directeur g\u00e9n\u00e9ral de Mourik en Belgique, est conscient de la valeur strat\u00e9gique du site. \u201c La Flandre a un besoin important d\u2019espaces industriels de grande qualit\u00e9. C\u2019est pourquoi notre ambition est de d\u00e9velopper ce site et de lui redonner son importance \u00e9conomique. \u201d<\/span><\/p>\n

Les premi\u00e8res r\u00e9actions sont positives. Le s\u00e9rieux dont fait preuve le nouveau propri\u00e9taire renforce la probabilit\u00e9 que le d\u00e9veloppement du site d\u00e9marre rapidement. <\/span><\/p>\n

Dans un communiqu\u00e9 de presse, Mourik qualifie cette acquisition d\u201c\u201d investissement strat\u00e9gique \u00bb.
