Les r\u00e9seaux sociaux, en particulier, o\u00f9 la ministre de la Mobilit\u00e9, Elke Van den Brandt (Groen), est la cible de critiques, notamment de la part d\u2019associations citoyennes oppos\u00e9es au projet \u00ab Good Move \u00bb, attisent les tensions.<\/p>\n<p>La raison de toute cette agitation ? L'accord de coalition pr\u00e9voit qu'\u00e0 partir de 2027, le deuxi\u00e8me dimanche sans voiture \u00e0 Bruxelles aura lieu le dimanche du Festival de l'Iris.<\/p>\n<p>Cependant, le 9 mai 2027 est \u00e9galement la f\u00eate des m\u00e8res, et les visiteurs venus de l'ext\u00e9rieur de la ville pour rendre visite \u00e0 leur m\u00e8re, \u00e0 leurs parents ou \u00e0 leurs grands-parents \u00e0 Bruxelles craignent des complications suppl\u00e9mentaires et des probl\u00e8mes de mobilit\u00e9.<\/p>\n<h4>Rechercher une autre date<\/h4>\n<p>Mme Van den Brandt a d\u00e9clar\u00e9 au Parlement de Bruxelles que tous les d\u00e9tails devaient encore \u00eatre finalis\u00e9s, que d'autres dates \u2013 le 2 ou le 9 mai, ou encore le 6 juin \u2013 \u00e9taient \u00e0 l'\u00e9tude en concertation avec les diff\u00e9rentes parties prenantes, et qu'elle esp\u00e9rait qu'une date puisse \u00eatre fix\u00e9e prochainement.<\/p>\n<p>Selon Van den Brandt, le budget consacr\u00e9 au \u00ab Dimanche sans voiture \u00bb sera du m\u00eame ordre de grandeur que celui de l\u2019\u00e9dition 2025. \u00c0 l\u2019\u00e9poque, 150 000 euros avaient \u00e9t\u00e9 consacr\u00e9s \u00e0 la communication et \u00e0 la sensibilisation, 310 000 euros \u00e0 la fermeture de la R\u00e9gion bruxelloise et des tunnels, et 350 000 euros \u00e0 la prise en charge des transports en commun gratuits et \u00e0 l\u2019extension de l\u2019offre. Des discussions avec les communes auront \u00e9galement lieu concernant le financement des activit\u00e9s.<\/p>\n<h4>Un deuxi\u00e8me \u00ab dimanche sans voiture \u00bb est-il utile ?<\/h4>\n<p>L'association de mobilit\u00e9 Touring s'\u00e9tonne que le d\u00e9bat autour d'un deuxi\u00e8me dimanche sans voiture \u00e0 Bruxelles porte principalement sur la date. Or, la v\u00e9ritable question concerne sa faisabilit\u00e9 et son co\u00fbt. En d'autres termes, ne vaudrait-il pas mieux investir l'argent consacr\u00e9 \u00e0 un tel dimanche sans voiture pour s\u00e9curiser un carrefour dangereux ?<\/p>\n<p>Selon Touring, qui tient g\u00e9n\u00e9ralement son propre stand lors du \u2019 dimanche sans voiture \u201c pour proposer des contr\u00f4les gratuits des v\u00e9los, le syst\u00e8me de mobilit\u00e9 bruxellois \u201d n\u2019a pas besoin d\u2019un deuxi\u00e8me dimanche sans voiture purement symbolique, mais plut\u00f4t de solutions concr\u00e8tes qui fonctionnent toute l\u2019ann\u00e9e \u00bb.\u201d<\/p>\n<p>\u201d Cela implique des transports en commun fiables, une meilleure accessibilit\u00e9, des parkings relais efficaces, des infrastructures plus s\u00fbres pour tous les usagers de la route, ainsi que des alternatives cr\u00e9dibles pour ceux qui d\u00e9pendent encore de la voiture. \u00bb<\/p>\n<p>Dans un contexte budg\u00e9taire difficile, chaque euro devrait \u00eatre affect\u00e9 \u00e0 des mesures qui am\u00e9liorent r\u00e9ellement la mobilit\u00e9 quotidienne des citoyens, estime Touring.<\/p>\n<h4>Des bienfaits concrets pour la sant\u00e9<\/h4>\n<p>D'autres associations de mobilit\u00e9, telles que Mobiel 21 \u2013 une association qui contribue \u00e0 coordonner les dimanches sans voiture organis\u00e9s chaque ann\u00e9e en Belgique et dont les adh\u00e9rents, contrairement \u00e0 ceux de Touring, ne sont pas majoritairement des automobilistes \u2013 ne partagent pas cette critique. L'association souligne l'importance d'un deuxi\u00e8me dimanche sans voiture, notamment pour maintenir la pression sur ces projets structurels pr\u00e9cis\u00e9ment.<\/p>\n<p>La directrice g\u00e9n\u00e9rale, Els Van den Broeck, cite \u00e9galement une \u00e9tude r\u00e9cente publi\u00e9e dans BRUZZ, qui montre que les niveaux de dioxyde d\u2019azote (NO\u2082) lors des dimanches sans voiture \u00e0 Bruxelles sont de 77 \u00e0 81% inf\u00e9rieurs \u00e0 ceux d\u2019un dimanche ordinaire.<\/p>\n<p>Selon cette \u00e9tude, le nombre de cas d\u2019asthme chez les enfants diminuerait de 10 \u00e0 34% si la qualit\u00e9 de l\u2019air \u00e9tait chaque jour aussi bonne que lors du \u201c dimanche sans voiture \u201d. \u00ab Pour moi, cela montre qu\u2019un deuxi\u00e8me dimanche sans voiture n\u2019est pas seulement symbolique, mais qu\u2019il peut \u00e9galement apporter des b\u00e9n\u00e9fices concrets pour la sant\u00e9 \u00bb, explique Van den Broeck.<\/p>\n<p>Brussels Environment, qui profite d\u00e9lib\u00e9r\u00e9ment de cette journ\u00e9e pour montrer comment les espaces publics peuvent \u00eatre am\u00e9nag\u00e9s diff\u00e9remment, sans donner la priorit\u00e9 \u00e0 la voiture, souligne \u00e9galement l'impact de la r\u00e9duction de la pollution sonore lors d'un dimanche sans voiture.<\/p>\n<p>Par le pass\u00e9, des baisses comprises entre 17,5 et 22,5 dB(A) ont \u00e9t\u00e9 mesur\u00e9es aux stations de surveillance situ\u00e9es le long des axes E40 et E411, ce qui correspond \u00e0 une r\u00e9duction de la pression acoustique de pr\u00e8s de 99%.
