La finalisation de l'op\u00e9ration est pr\u00e9vue vers la fin de l'ann\u00e9e 2026 ou le d\u00e9but de l'ann\u00e9e 2027.<\/p>\n<p>Cellcentric conservera son ind\u00e9pendance et continuera \u00e0 fournir des syst\u00e8mes \u00e0 pile \u00e0 combustible destin\u00e9s aux poids lourds routiers et tout-terrain, aux autocars, aux applications ferroviaires et maritimes, \u00e0 la production d'\u00e9lectricit\u00e9 stationnaire et aux engins de chantier.<\/p>\n<h4>Une expertise suppl\u00e9mentaire dans le domaine des piles \u00e0 combustible<\/h4>\n<p>L'arriv\u00e9e de Toyota devrait permettre \u00e0 Cellcentric d'acqu\u00e9rir une expertise suppl\u00e9mentaire dans le domaine des piles \u00e0 combustible et, ce qui est peut-\u00eatre encore plus important, d'atteindre une plus grande envergure industrielle. Cellcentric emploie plus de 560 personnes et d\u00e9tient environ 700 brevets.<\/p>\n<p>Au d\u00e9but de cette ann\u00e9e, l'entreprise a pr\u00e9sent\u00e9 le BZA375, un syst\u00e8me compact \u00e0 pile \u00e0 combustible d\u00e9velopp\u00e9 pour les applications lourdes et destin\u00e9 \u00e0 devenir l'un des piliers de sa future offre commerciale.<\/p>\n<p>Cette alliance rev\u00eat une importance strat\u00e9gique, mais elle ne doit pas \u00eatre interpr\u00e9t\u00e9e comme la preuve que l'hydrog\u00e8ne retrouve sa place d'antan en tant qu'alternative propre \u00e0 grande \u00e9chelle pour le transport routier.<\/p>\n<p>Les piles \u00e0 combustible ont largement perdu cette bataille sur le march\u00e9 des voitures particuli\u00e8res, o\u00f9 les v\u00e9hicules \u00e9lectriques \u00e0 batterie ont atteint des volumes de vente bien sup\u00e9rieurs, affichent une consommation d'\u00e9nergie moindre et b\u00e9n\u00e9ficient d'un r\u00e9seau de recharge en pleine expansion.<\/p>\n<h4>Principalement des camions enti\u00e8rement \u00e9lectriques \u00e0 batterie<\/h4>\n<p>M\u00eame dans le secteur des camions, les batteries progressent plus rapidement que ne l'avaient pr\u00e9vu de nombreux d\u00e9fenseurs de l'hydrog\u00e8ne. Selon l'Agence internationale de l'\u00e9nergie, les ventes mondiales de camions \u00e9lectriques ont doubl\u00e9 en 2025 pour d\u00e9passer les 400 000 v\u00e9hicules, atteignant ainsi 9% du march\u00e9.<\/p>\n<p>Les mod\u00e8les enti\u00e8rement \u00e9lectriques ont repr\u00e9sent\u00e9 97% de ces ventes. Les ventes de poids lourds \u00e9lectriques ont presque tripl\u00e9 pour atteindre environ 230 000 unit\u00e9s.<\/p>\n<p>L'Europe reste loin derri\u00e8re la Chine, mais la tendance est similaire. Les ventes de camions \u00e9lectriques en Europe ont augment\u00e9 de 40% en 2025 pour atteindre pr\u00e8s de 17 000 unit\u00e9s. Au sein de l\u2019UE, les camions rechargeables ont vu leur part de march\u00e9 passer \u00e0 4,41 % au premier trimestre 2026, tandis que les camions \u00e0 pile \u00e0 combustible restent largement cantonn\u00e9s aux essais et aux petites flottes.<\/p>\n<p>Cela change la donne en ce qui concerne la coop\u00e9ration entre Toyota, Daimler et Volvo. Plut\u00f4t que de g\u00e9n\u00e9raliser l'utilisation de l'hydrog\u00e8ne, les trois entreprises se partagent les co\u00fbts et les risques consid\u00e9rables li\u00e9s au maintien de sa viabilit\u00e9 pour les cas d'utilisation les plus exigeants.<\/p>\n<p>Il peut s'agir notamment de camions parcourant des kilom\u00e9trages quotidiens tr\u00e8s \u00e9lev\u00e9s, d'op\u00e9rations o\u00f9 il est difficile de pr\u00e9voir du temps pour la recharge, ou d'applications dans lesquelles des batteries de tr\u00e8s grande capacit\u00e9 r\u00e9duiraient trop la charge utile.<\/p>\n<p class=\"isSelectedEnd\">Cet accord ne permet pas non plus de r\u00e9soudre le principal probl\u00e8me li\u00e9 \u00e0 l'hydrog\u00e8ne. La quasi-totalit\u00e9 de l'hydrog\u00e8ne est encore produite \u00e0 partir de combustibles fossiles, tandis que l'hydrog\u00e8ne \u00e0 faibles \u00e9missions ne repr\u00e9sentait qu'un peu plus de 1% de la production mondiale en 2025.<\/p>\n<p class=\"isSelectedEnd\">Selon l'AIE, le portefeuille de projets est en baisse en raison de retards, d'annulations, d'une faible demande et de co\u00fbts qui restent sup\u00e9rieurs \u00e0 ceux de l'hydrog\u00e8ne conventionnel.<\/p>\n<h4>Une nouvelle perspective belge ?<\/h4>\n<p class=\"isSelectedEnd\">Belge <a href=\"https:\/\/newmobility.news\/fr\/2025\/11\/06\/belgiums-quiet-revolution-how-a-small-solar-hydrogen-park-could-go-global\/\">start-up Solhyd<\/a> pourrait offrir une nouvelle perspective. Sa technologie modulaire permet de produire de l'hydrog\u00e8ne \u00e0 partir de l'\u00e9nergie solaire et de l'humidit\u00e9 capt\u00e9e dans l'air, sans n\u00e9cessiter d'alimentation en eau, de raccordement au r\u00e9seau \u00e9lectrique ni de m\u00e9taux pr\u00e9cieux.<\/p>\n<p class=\"isSelectedEnd\">Solhyd affirme que son syst\u00e8me simplifi\u00e9 permet de r\u00e9duire de moiti\u00e9 les co\u00fbts li\u00e9s aux \u00e9quipements auxiliaires et de diminuer les co\u00fbts \u00e9nerg\u00e9tiques jusqu'\u00e0 quatre fois par rapport \u00e0 l'\u00e9lectrolyse classique.<\/p>\n<p class=\"isSelectedEnd\">Toutefois, cette avanc\u00e9e n'a pas encore \u00e9t\u00e9 d\u00e9montr\u00e9e \u00e0 l'\u00e9chelle commerciale. Solhyd ne publie pas de co\u00fbt de production v\u00e9rifi\u00e9 au kilogramme, tandis que sa premi\u00e8re installation \u00e0 vocation commerciale, situ\u00e9e pr\u00e8s de Namur, n'aura dans un premier temps qu'une capacit\u00e9 de 50 kW. Elle devrait entrer en service en 2026, et un projet de 2 MW est pr\u00e9vu pour 2028.<\/p>\n<p>Cette technologie pourrait s'av\u00e9rer particuli\u00e8rement int\u00e9ressante pour la production d\u00e9centralis\u00e9e d'hydrog\u00e8ne sur des sites industriels ou dans des d\u00e9p\u00f4ts de camions, o\u00f9 elle pourrait contribuer \u00e0 r\u00e9duire le co\u00fbt du transport de l'hydrog\u00e8ne.<\/p>\n<p>Mais l'hydrog\u00e8ne est actuellement produit \u00e0 basse pression et doit encore \u00eatre comprim\u00e9, stock\u00e9 et distribu\u00e9 avant de pouvoir alimenter un camion. Solhyd pourrait donc contribuer \u00e0 r\u00e9duire un maillon important de la cha\u00eene de co\u00fbts de l'hydrog\u00e8ne, mais cette technologie n'a pas encore \u00e9limin\u00e9 les inconv\u00e9nients \u00e9conomiques et infrastructurels qui permettent aux camions \u00e9lectriques \u00e0 batterie de gagner du terrain.<\/p>\n<p>La nouvelle structure actionnariale de Cellcentric constitue donc \u00e0 la fois un gage de confiance et un signe de consolidation.
