Leapmotor s'appr\u00eate \u00e0 lancer le 10 ao\u00fbt en Chine l'A05, une citadine \u00e9lectrique compacte qui sera commercialis\u00e9e \u00e0 l'international sous le nom de B03. Avec des dimensions proches de celles de la Geely E2, deux batteries LFP et un prix potentiel en Europe avoisinant les 20 000 \u20ac, elle pourrait devenir l'une des offres les plus attractives du march\u00e9 europ\u00e9en des v\u00e9hicules \u00e9lectriques abordables.<\/p>\n

La date du 10 ao\u00fbt provient du portail chinois Autohome et n'a pas encore \u00e9t\u00e9 confirm\u00e9e par les canaux officiels de Leapmotor. Le constructeur a officiellement d\u00e9voil\u00e9 l'A05 le 29 juillet et a confirm\u00e9 le nom \u00ab B03 \u00bb pour les march\u00e9s internationaux.<\/p>\n

La voiture mesure 4,18 m\u00e8tres de long, 1,79 m\u00e8tre de large et 1,56 m\u00e8tre de haut, avec un empattement de 2,61 m\u00e8tres. Les documents officiels chinois indiquent une longueur l\u00e9g\u00e8rement sup\u00e9rieure, \u00e0 savoir 4,20 m\u00e8tres. Deux versions \u00e0 traction avant devraient \u00eatre commercialis\u00e9es en Chine.<\/p>\n

Batterie LFP de 39,8 kWh<\/h4>\n

Le mod\u00e8le d'entr\u00e9e de gamme associe un moteur de 70 kW \u00e0 une batterie LFP de 39,8 kWh, tandis que la version plus puissante est \u00e9quip\u00e9e d'un moteur de 90 kW et d'une batterie LFP de 53 kWh. Leurs autonomies annonc\u00e9es selon le cycle chinois sont respectivement de 405 et 510 kilom\u00e8tres.<\/p>\n

Si l'on se base sur la proc\u00e9dure WLTP, plus stricte, des autonomies comprises entre environ 290 et 310 kilom\u00e8tres et entre 375 et 400 kilom\u00e8tres semblent r\u00e9alistes, m\u00eame si les sp\u00e9cifications europ\u00e9ennes sont susceptibles d'\u00e9voluer.<\/p>\n

Les versions chinoises sont \u00e9quip\u00e9es d'un \u00e9cran d'instrumentation de 8,9 pouces, d'un \u00e9cran central de 14,6 pouces, du processeur Snapdragon 8295 de Qualcomm d\u00e9di\u00e9 \u00e0 l'habitacle, d'un syst\u00e8me audio \u00e0 12 haut-parleurs et de 33 compartiments de rangement.<\/p>\n

Leapmotor annonce un volume de coffre de 474 litres, auquel s'ajoute un compartiment inf\u00e9rieur de 91 litres, mais ces chiffres doivent encore \u00eatre confirm\u00e9s selon la m\u00e9thode de mesure europ\u00e9enne VDA.<\/p>\n

Entre 20 900 \u20ac et 22 900 \u20ac<\/h4>\n

Aucune date officielle n'a encore \u00e9t\u00e9 fix\u00e9e pour le lancement europ\u00e9en, m\u00eame si le calendrier de lancement des produits de Leapmotor laisse entrevoir un lancement d\u00e9but 2027. La Belgique devrait suivre les premiers march\u00e9s europ\u00e9ens gr\u00e2ce au r\u00e9seau de Stellantis.<\/p>\n

Le prix n'est pas encore connu, mais le crossover B03X est d\u00e9j\u00e0 propos\u00e9 \u00e0 partir de 24 900 \u20ac. Un mod\u00e8le \u00e0 hayon plus bas de gamme et plus simple se situerait logiquement en dessous. Cela rend plausible un prix de d\u00e9part estim\u00e9 en Belgique compris entre 20 900 \u20ac et 22 900 \u20ac, avec une version dot\u00e9e d'une batterie plus puissante co\u00fbtant entre 23 000 \u20ac et 25 000 \u20ac.<\/p>\n

En dessous de 21 000 \u20ac, la B03 constituerait une v\u00e9ritable r\u00e9volution en mati\u00e8re de prix. Au-del\u00e0 de 23 000 \u20ac, elle resterait comp\u00e9titive, mais serait confront\u00e9e \u00e0 une concurrence bien plus rude.<\/p>\n

La concurrente belge la plus proche est la Geely E2. La E2 mesure environ 4,14 m\u00e8tres de long et est actuellement propos\u00e9e \u00e0 partir de 19 490 \u20ac, avec une remise de 2 000 \u20ac pour les premiers acheteurs, soit 21 490 \u20ac au prix normal.<\/p>\n

Elle offre une autonomie de 252 kilom\u00e8tres dans sa version d'entr\u00e9e de gamme et jusqu'\u00e0 345 kilom\u00e8tres dans les mod\u00e8les \u00e9quip\u00e9s d'une batterie plus puissante. La Leapmotor, de taille presque identique, pourrait riposter avec une batterie plus puissante de 53 kWh et, potentiellement, une autonomie sup\u00e9rieure.<\/p>\n

La Twingo E-Tech \u00e9lectrique est certes comp\u00e9titive en termes de prix, avec un prix de d\u00e9part de 19 500 \u20ac en Belgique, mais elle se positionne dans une cat\u00e9gorie inf\u00e9rieure. Avec ses 3,79 m\u00e8tres de long, sa batterie de 27,5 kWh, son moteur de 60 kW et une autonomie pouvant atteindre 263 kilom\u00e8tres selon le cycle WLTP, c'est avant tout une voiture urbaine du segment A.<\/p>\n

Les acheteurs qui comparent les mensualit\u00e9s pourraient la classer parmi leurs favoris, mais en termes d'espace, d'autonomie et de praticit\u00e9 pour les familles, la B03 devrait se rapprocher davantage de la Geely E2, de la Citro\u00ebn \u00eb-C3, de la Fiat Grande Panda Electric, de la BYD Dolphin Surf et des versions d'entr\u00e9e de gamme de la Renault 5.<\/p>\n

Une opportunit\u00e9 et une menace<\/h4>\n

Pour Stellantis, le B03 repr\u00e9sente \u00e0 la fois une opportunit\u00e9 et une menace. Le groupe d\u00e9tient environ 21% de Leapmotor et contr\u00f4le 51% de Leapmotor International, qui d\u00e9tient les droits exclusifs de vente et de fabrication des voitures Leapmotor en dehors de la Grande Chine. Chaque B03 vendue via le r\u00e9seau Stellantis contribue \u00e0 d\u00e9fendre le groupe face \u00e0 BYD et Geely.<\/p>\n

Par ailleurs, une B03 bien \u00e9quip\u00e9e, vendue \u00e0 environ 21 000 \u20ac, pourrait proposer un prix inf\u00e9rieur \u00e0 celui de la Citro\u00ebn \u00eb-C3 et de la Fiat Grande Panda Electric, toutes deux du groupe Stellantis, tout en offrant une autonomie sup\u00e9rieure et davantage d\u2019\u00e9quipements num\u00e9riques.<\/p>\n

Cette pression interne s'inscrit dans le cadre de la strat\u00e9gie. Stellantis souhaite tirer parti des batteries et des composants \u00e9lectroniques \u00e0 faible co\u00fbt de Leapmotor, ainsi que de la rapidit\u00e9 de son processus de d\u00e9veloppement, afin de rendre plus abordable l'ensemble de sa gamme europ\u00e9enne de v\u00e9hicules \u00e9lectriques.<\/p>\n

Une production europ\u00e9enne est probable, mais elle n\u2019a pas encore \u00e9t\u00e9 officiellement attribu\u00e9e au mod\u00e8le B03. Stellantis a confirm\u00e9 la production du B10 ainsi que l\u2019implantation d\u2019un nouvel atelier de fabrication de batteries Leapmotor pr\u00e8s de Saragosse, tandis que des d\u00e9clarations attribu\u00e9es au directeur mondial de la qualit\u00e9 de Leapmotor indiquent que le mod\u00e8le A05 pourrait suivre en 2027. Un assemblage local permettrait d\u2019\u00e9viter les droits de douane suppl\u00e9mentaires de l\u2019UE sur les v\u00e9hicules \u00e9lectriques fabriqu\u00e9s en Chine et renforcerait la rentabilit\u00e9 du projet.<\/p>\n
