Les immatriculations ont augment\u00e9 de 8,3% par rapport \u00e0 la m\u00eame p\u00e9riode de l\u2019ann\u00e9e pr\u00e9c\u00e9dente, pour atteindre 28 295 v\u00e9hicules, tandis que les mod\u00e8les enti\u00e8rement \u00e9lectriques ont atteint une part de march\u00e9 record de 46,2%.<\/p>\n<p>Il convient toutefois de relativiser cette croissance apparente : le mois d'ao\u00fbt comptait un jour ouvr\u00e9 de plus que l'ann\u00e9e derni\u00e8re, et les volumes restent bien en de\u00e7\u00e0 des niveaux exceptionnels observ\u00e9s il y a seulement quelques ann\u00e9es.<\/p>\n<p>Selon les chiffres fournis par le FPS Mobilit\u00e9 et la f\u00e9d\u00e9ration automobile FEBIAC, les deux segments du march\u00e9 ont contribu\u00e9 \u00e0 la reprise observ\u00e9e en ao\u00fbt.<\/p>\n<p>Les immatriculations des particuliers ont augment\u00e9 de 7,71 TP3T, tandis que celles des professionnels ont progress\u00e9 de 8,71 TP3T. Les entreprises ont une nouvelle fois domin\u00e9 le march\u00e9, repr\u00e9sentant 61,11 TP3T du total des immatriculations.<\/p>\n<p>Cela contribue \u00e9galement \u00e0 expliquer un autre fait marquant. Pour le troisi\u00e8me mois cons\u00e9cutif, les v\u00e9hicules \u00e9quip\u00e9s d'un groupe motopropulseur \u00e9lectrique \u00e0 batterie ont \u00e9t\u00e9 les plus immatricul\u00e9s en Belgique.<\/p>\n<p>En ao\u00fbt, sa part de march\u00e9 a atteint le niveau sans pr\u00e9c\u00e9dent de 46,21 TP3T, contre 42,91 TP3T en juillet. Le march\u00e9 belge se tournent donc rapidement vers l'\u00e9lectrique au niveau des immatriculations, m\u00eame si cette tendance reste fortement tir\u00e9e par les v\u00e9hicules de soci\u00e9t\u00e9.<\/p>\n<p>Fin juin, les v\u00e9hicules \u00e9lectriques \u00e0 batterie (BEV) repr\u00e9sentaient 36,1% de l'ensemble des voitures neuves immatricul\u00e9es en 2026, contre 34,7% sur l'ensemble de l'ann\u00e9e 2025. Chez les entreprises, cependant, leur part s'\u00e9levait d\u00e9j\u00e0 \u00e0 59%, et pr\u00e8s de sept v\u00e9hicules \u00e9lectriques neufs sur dix ont \u00e9t\u00e9 immatricul\u00e9s par des clients professionnels.<\/p>\n<h4>Les acheteurs priv\u00e9s continuent de privil\u00e9gier les v\u00e9hicules \u00e0 moteur thermique<\/h4>\n<p>Les particuliers sont nettement plus frugaux. Au cours du premier semestre 2026, les v\u00e9hicules \u00e0 essence repr\u00e9sentaient encore 61,11 TP3T de leurs immatriculations de voitures neuves, suivis par les hybrides classiques avec 18,91 TP3T.<\/p>\n<p>Les v\u00e9hicules \u00e9lectriques \u00e0 batterie (BEV) ont n\u00e9anmoins franchi pour la premi\u00e8re fois le seuil des 10%, atteignant 10,2%, contre 8,9% en 2025. Les v\u00e9hicules hybrides rechargeables (PHEV) ne repr\u00e9sentaient que 5,3% et les v\u00e9hicules diesel 2,6%.<\/p>\n<p>Le classement des mod\u00e8les illustre encore mieux ce foss\u00e9 : le top 10 des particuliers ne compte aucune voiture enti\u00e8rement \u00e9lectrique. La Dacia Sandero, la VW T-Roc et la BMW X1, toutes trois \u00e0 essence, sont en t\u00eate du classement, aux c\u00f4t\u00e9s de la Toyota Yaris hybride. Chez les professionnels, en revanche, les v\u00e9hicules enti\u00e8rement \u00e9lectriques (BEV) repr\u00e9sentent 59% des immatriculations et dominent le top 10 des mod\u00e8les.<\/p>\n<h4><strong>Un mauvais d\u00e9part a failli tout g\u00e2cher<\/strong><\/h4>\n<p>Le mois d'ao\u00fbt confirme que le march\u00e9 belge des voitures neuves s'est progressivement remis d'un d\u00e9but d'ann\u00e9e particuli\u00e8rement morose. Les immatriculations de janvier avaient chut\u00e9 de 18,71 TP3T, en partie parce que l'introduction d'une nouvelle norme Euro avait entra\u00een\u00e9 une anticipation des immatriculations d\u00e8s d\u00e9cembre 2025. En f\u00e9vrier, la baisse \u00e9tait encore de 7,71 TP3T.<\/p>\n<p>Depuis lors, la tendance s'est av\u00e9r\u00e9e plus encourageante, bien que volatile : +8,81 TP3T en mars, pratiquement stable en avril, -2,11 TP3T en mai, +9,41 TP3T en juin, -7,41 TP3T en juillet et, aujourd'hui, +8,31 TP3T en ao\u00fbt. En cons\u00e9quence, le d\u00e9ficit cumul\u00e9 de 13,21 TP3T enregistr\u00e9 apr\u00e8s f\u00e9vrier s'est r\u00e9duit \u00e0 seulement 1,41 TP3T au bout de huit mois.<\/p>\n<p>De janvier \u00e0 ao\u00fbt, 288 250 voitures neuves ont \u00e9t\u00e9 immatricul\u00e9es, soit seulement 4 099 de moins que les 292 349 enregistr\u00e9es au cours de la m\u00eame p\u00e9riode en 2025. Mais une comparaison avec des donn\u00e9es plus anciennes permet de replacer cette reprise dans son contexte.<\/p>\n<p>La Belgique a immatricul\u00e9 324 892 voitures neuves au cours des huit premiers mois de 2024 et 335 942 en 2023. Le march\u00e9 actuel reste donc environ 11% en de\u00e7\u00e0 des niveaux de 2024 et 14% en de\u00e7\u00e0 de ceux de 2023.<\/p>\n<p>Le mois d'ao\u00fbt lui-m\u00eame pr\u00e9sente une tendance similaire. Les 28 295 immatriculations sont sup\u00e9rieures de 8,31 TP3T au chiffre particuli\u00e8rement faible de l'ann\u00e9e derni\u00e8re (26 120), mais restent inf\u00e9rieures de 3,51 TP3T aux 29 333 immatriculations d\u2019ao\u00fbt 2024 et d\u2019au moins 231 TP3T aux 36 798 voitures immatricul\u00e9es en ao\u00fbt 2023.<\/p>\n<p>Cette ann\u00e9e-l\u00e0 a \u00e9t\u00e9 fauss\u00e9e \u00e0 la hausse par les flottes d'entreprise qui anticipaient les changements dans la fiscalit\u00e9 des v\u00e9hicules de fonction, mais elle illustre \u00e0 quel point la structure du march\u00e9 belge a \u00e9volu\u00e9.<\/p>\n<h4><strong>BMW en t\u00eate, les marques chinoises en pleine ascension<\/strong><\/h4>\n<p>BMW reste la premi\u00e8re marque en Belgique, tant au mois d\u2019ao\u00fbt, avec 3 685 immatriculations, que depuis le d\u00e9but de l\u2019ann\u00e9e, avec 31 975 immatriculations. Volkswagen et Mercedes compl\u00e8tent le trio de t\u00eate pour 2026.<\/p>\n<p>Parmi les marques qui connaissent la plus forte croissance, on trouve plusieurs marques chinoises : BYD a plus que doubl\u00e9 son nombre d'immatriculations cette ann\u00e9e, pour atteindre 5 726 (+1 161 TP3T), MG affiche une hausse de 1 341 TP3T \u00e0 6 185, et Leapmotor a bondi de 3 771 TP3T \u00e0 2 281. Les immatriculations de motos et de scooters neufs ont bondi de 12,91 TP3T en ao\u00fbt et affichent une hausse de 10,41 TP3T depuis le d\u00e9but de l'ann\u00e9e, pour atteindre 21 687 unit\u00e9s.
