Gr\u00e2ce \u00e0 une nouvelle mise \u00e0 jour logicielle annonc\u00e9 en f\u00e9vrier<\/a> Depuis cette ann\u00e9e, le port de recharge de la Volvo EX30 permet enfin d'alimenter des appareils externes. Outre cette fonction \u2019 Vehicle-to-Load \u00bb (V2L), cette voiture \u00e9lectrique compacte construite \u00e0 l'usine de Usine Volvo de Gand (Belgique)<\/a> Sur certains march\u00e9s, la fonction \u00ab Plug & Charge \u00bb est \u00e9galement disponible.<\/p>\n

La mise \u00e0 jour logicielle int\u00e9grant la fonction V2L sera disponible pour les EX30 existantes \u00e0 partir de l'ann\u00e9e-mod\u00e8le 2026. Elle sera d\u00e9ploy\u00e9e aupr\u00e8s des clients europ\u00e9ens dans les semaines \u00e0 venir. Les propri\u00e9taires souhaitant utiliser cette nouvelle fonctionnalit\u00e9 devront se procurer un adaptateur V2L externe. Celui-ci se branche sur le port de recharge du v\u00e9hicule et fait office de prise 230 V.<\/p>\n

Selon Volvo, la fonction V2L transformera l\u2019EX30 en une \u201c grande batterie externe \u201d. Elle permettra d\u2019alimenter des appareils tels qu\u2019une machine \u00e0 caf\u00e9 ou un t\u00e9l\u00e9viseur, ou encore de recharger un v\u00e9lo \u00e9lectrique. L'EX30 offrira une puissance de sortie de 3 kW. Lorsque le niveau de charge (SOC) de la batterie descend \u00e0 20%, l'alimentation externe est coup\u00e9e.<\/p>\n

En retard \u00e0 la f\u00eate<\/b><\/h4>\n

L'EX30 est le deuxi\u00e8me mod\u00e8le Volvo \u00e0 proposer la fonction V2L, apr\u00e8s l'EX60, plus grand. La marque annonce que d'autres mod\u00e8les suivront. Dans son communiqu\u00e9 de presse, Volvo pr\u00e9cise que l'EX30 est \u201c l'un des premiers mod\u00e8les du segment des compactes haut de gamme \u00e0 proposer cette technologie \u201d. Mais comme la fonction V2L est d\u00e9ploy\u00e9e via une mise \u00e0 jour logicielle, le mat\u00e9riel n\u00e9cessaire \u00e9tait d\u00e9j\u00e0 int\u00e9gr\u00e9 \u00e0 l'EX30. Alors pourquoi ne pas avoir propos\u00e9 cette fonctionnalit\u00e9 d\u00e8s le lancement ?<\/p>\n

En r\u00e9alit\u00e9, les mod\u00e8les des marques s\u0153urs de Volvo proposent d\u00e9j\u00e0 la fonction V2L depuis bien plus longtemps. Volvo Cars fait partie du groupe Geely, aux c\u00f4t\u00e9s notamment de Smart, Zeeker et Lynk & Co.<\/p>\n

Ils utilisent la m\u00eame architecture SEA que Volvo sur l'EX30. Le Smart #1<\/a> et #3<\/a> sont compatibles avec la technologie V2L depuis la mise \u00e0 jour OTA d\u00e9ploy\u00e9e en juillet 2024. Et le Zeekr X<\/a> et Lynk & Co 02<\/a> offrent \u00e9galement cette fonctionnalit\u00e9.<\/p>\n

Utilisation restreinte<\/b><\/h4>\n

De plus, les mod\u00e8les Smart d\u00e9veloppent une puissance de 3,7 kW, tandis que les deux autres marques offrent 3,3 kW, l'EX30 \u00e9tant quant \u00e0 lui limit\u00e9 \u00e0 3,0 kW. Et cela peut avoir son importance pour les outils \u00e9lectriques ou d'autres appareils plus gourmands en \u00e9nergie.<\/p>\n

Pour plusieurs acheteurs de l'EX30, la fonction V2L pourrait ne jamais \u00eatre disponible. Les voitures vendues avant l'ann\u00e9e-mod\u00e8le 2026 ne sont pas mentionn\u00e9es pour l'instant. Et les notes officielles de mise \u00e0 jour 2.1.2 indiquent que la mise \u00e0 jour n'est actuellement pas disponible sur certains march\u00e9s pour les mod\u00e8les Ultra \u00e9quip\u00e9s du chargeur de 22 kW. Reste \u00e0 voir si cette fonctionnalit\u00e9 sera ajout\u00e9e ult\u00e9rieurement ou si elle est d\u00e9finitivement \u00e9cart\u00e9e.<\/p>\n

Autres modifications incluses dans cette m\u00eame mise \u00e0 jour OTA<\/b><\/h4>\n

Si Volvo met l'accent sur la technologie V2L, le communiqu\u00e9 de presse mentionne \u00e9galement d'autres changements introduits dans cette m\u00eame mise \u00e0 jour. Celle-ci permettra d'int\u00e9grer la fonctionnalit\u00e9 \u00ab Plug & Charge \u00bb \u00e0 l'EX30. Cela signifie que, sur certains march\u00e9s et pour certaines bornes de recharge publiques, les utilisateurs n'auront plus besoin de pr\u00e9senter leur carte de recharge ni d'utiliser une application pour lancer la recharge. Il suffira de brancher le v\u00e9hicule pour que celui-ci transmette les informations de paiement \u00e0 la borne de recharge.<\/p>\n

Cette mise \u00e0 jour propose \u00e9galement une nouvelle exp\u00e9rience utilisateur offrant une plus grande adaptabilit\u00e9 sur l'\u00e9cran central.<\/p>\n
