Le SUV Polestar 4, tant attendu, int\u00e8gre une lunette arri\u00e8re par rapport au concept initial. Le mod\u00e8le perd ainsi l'une de ses caract\u00e9ristiques les plus distinctives au profit d'une plus grande fonctionnalit\u00e9. Est-ce l\u00e0 le mod\u00e8le que Polestar aurait d\u00fb lancer d\u00e8s le d\u00e9part ?<\/p>\n

Polestar a enfin pris la d\u00e9cision qui s'imposait. La 4 d\u2019origine, qui reste le best-seller mondial de la marque, conserve son toit inclin\u00e9 et sa vue arri\u00e8re assur\u00e9e uniquement par une cam\u00e9ra. Mais comme annonc\u00e9 en d\u00e9but d\u2019ann\u00e9e, elle est d\u00e9sormais reclass\u00e9e en cat\u00e9gorie \u00ab Coup\u00e9 \u00bb. Le nouveau mod\u00e8le porte le nom de SUV, offrant davantage d\u2019espace pratique \u00e0 l\u2019arri\u00e8re et une vitre arri\u00e8re.\u00a0<\/span><\/p>\n

Fabriqu\u00e9 en Cor\u00e9e du Sud<\/h4>\n

Il est disponible \u00e0 la vente en Belgique \u00e0 partir de 59 900 \u20ac, soit 2 000 \u20ac de moins que son homologue Coup\u00e9. Cette diff\u00e9rence pourrait s'expliquer par son site de production. Le Coup\u00e9 est principalement fabriqu\u00e9 \u00e0 Hangzhou, en Chine, tandis que le SUV est exclusivement produit \u00e0 Busan, en Cor\u00e9e du Sud.\u00a0<\/span><\/p>\n

Le label \u2018 SUV \u2019 a un peu trop de poids. Le 4 SUV est, au mieux, un crossover haut de gamme, mais nous pr\u00e9f\u00e9rons le consid\u00e9rer comme un break \u00e9lectrique sur\u00e9lev\u00e9. Polestar a conserv\u00e9 l\u2019avant et les proportions g\u00e9n\u00e9rales du Coup\u00e9, mais \u00e0 partir du montant B, le toit s\u2019\u00e9tire plus long et plus haut. Le hayon est plus vertical. La silhouette s'apparente davantage \u00e0 celle d'un break lifestyle, ce qui n'est pas loin de ce que recherchent la plupart des familles.<\/p>\n

La lunette arri\u00e8re fait son retour<\/h4>\n

Ainsi, le SUV 4 met fin \u00e0 la d\u00e9cision controvers\u00e9e de supprimer compl\u00e8tement la lunette arri\u00e8re et d\u2019associer une cam\u00e9ra mont\u00e9e sur le toit \u00e0 un r\u00e9troviseur num\u00e9rique. Avec une lunette arri\u00e8re classique et un r\u00e9troviseur int\u00e9rieur conventionnel de s\u00e9rie, le r\u00e9troviseur num\u00e9rique n\u2019est propos\u00e9 ici qu\u2019en option. Polestar r\u00e9pond ainsi aux attentes de ceux qui appr\u00e9cient le style mais ne parvenaient pas \u00e0 s'accommoder de l'arri\u00e8re m\u00e9tallis\u00e9. Cette caract\u00e9ristique continue de diviser.<\/p>\n

Les gains pratiques constituent \u00e9galement un argument de poids. Le volume du coffre atteint 530 litres sous la plage arri\u00e8re, et cet espace s\u2019agrandit lorsque l\u2019on charge jusqu\u2019au toit. Le volume maximal avec les si\u00e8ges arri\u00e8re rabattus est d\u00e9sormais de 1 665 litres, contre 1 536 pour le Coup\u00e9. \u00c0 l'avant, on dispose d'un coffre de 15 litres.\u00a0<\/span><\/p>\n

Les passagers arri\u00e8re b\u00e9n\u00e9ficient d'environ 2,5 centim\u00e8tres d'espace suppl\u00e9mentaire au niveau de la t\u00eate. Avec ses barres de toit int\u00e9gr\u00e9es et une capacit\u00e9 de charge dynamique sur le toit port\u00e9e \u00e0 100 kg (contre 75 kg auparavant), Polestar vise clairement un public en qu\u00eate de plus de fonctionnalit\u00e9.<\/p>\n

Une suspension plus r\u00e9active\u00a0<\/span><\/h4>\n

Mais sous le capot, aucun changement r\u00e9volutionnaire n\u2019a \u00e9t\u00e9 apport\u00e9. On retrouve la m\u00eame architecture \u00e0 400 volts, la m\u00eame batterie de 100 kWh, ainsi que le m\u00eame choix entre un ou deux moteurs. Les puissances restent inchang\u00e9es, \u00e0 savoir 272 hp ou 544 hp.\u00a0<\/span><\/p>\n

\u00c9tonnamment, l\u2019autonomie de la version SUV atteint, selon les chiffres annonc\u00e9s, 630 kilom\u00e8tres en cycle WLTP avec un seul moteur \u00e0 l\u2019arri\u00e8re (600 km pour la version \u00e0 deux moteurs). C\u2019est 10 kilom\u00e8tres de plus que le Coup\u00e9, malgr\u00e9 une a\u00e9rodynamique moins favorable et un poids plus \u00e9lev\u00e9 (+35 kg pour la version \u00e0 moteur unique, et +20 kg pour la version \u00e0 transmission int\u00e9grale). Polestar ne pr\u00e9cise pas la raison de cette augmentation d\u2019autonomie. Mais cela pourrait venir des pneus : le SUV remplace les Pirelli par des Hankook.\u00a0<\/span><\/p>\n

Polestar en profite \u00e9galement pour proposer un r\u00e9glage du ch\u00e2ssis revu et plus cibl\u00e9, applicable aux deux versions de carrosserie. C\u00f4t\u00e9 nouveaut\u00e9s, la fonction \u00ab vehicle-to-load \u00bb (3,3 kW) permet d\u2019alimenter des appareils externes \u00e0 partir de la batterie, tandis que le \u00ab mode camping \u00bb maintient la climatisation, l\u2019\u00e9clairage et le syst\u00e8me d\u2019infodivertissement en marche lorsque le v\u00e9hicule est gar\u00e9.
