L'entreprise affirme tester actuellement en Chine des v\u00e9hicules capables de se recharger en cinq minutes sur des bornes de 1 800 kW. L'Europe est \u00e9galement dans son viseur.<\/p>\n<p>Tesla a autrefois b\u00e2ti un empire en vendant des voitures \u00e9lectriques accompagn\u00e9es des bornes de recharge n\u00e9cessaires \u00e0 leur alimentation, ce qui lui a permis, d\u00e8s le d\u00e9part, de r\u00e9duire au minimum les temps d'immobilisation. Aucune autre marque occidentale n'a r\u00e9ussi \u00e0 reproduire correctement cette strat\u00e9gie. Mais les constructeurs chinois de v\u00e9hicules \u00e9lectriques ont d\u00e9cid\u00e9 de la surpasser largement en misant sur la recharge en m\u00e9gawatts.<\/p>\n<h4>Pour 300 kW suppl\u00e9mentaires<\/h4>\n<p>En Chine, cela fait d\u00e9j\u00e0 un certain temps qu'on proc\u00e8de ainsi, mais la production maximale ne cesse d'augmenter. BYD a amplifi\u00e9 cette tendance avec son<span class=\"Apple-converted-space\">\u00a0<\/span>le r\u00e9seau dit de \u00ab recharge rapide \u00bb (1 500 kW). La marque a d\u00e9j\u00e0 franchi la barre des 10 000 bornes \u00e0 haute puissance le mois dernier et se dirige \u00e0 grands pas vers les 20 000 d'ici la fin de l'ann\u00e9e. En ce qui concerne l\u2019Europe, le constructeur automobile envisage un objectif initial de 3 000 bornes, mais seules quelques installations pilotes sont actuellement en service au Royaume-Uni et en Allemagne.<\/p>\n<p>L'objectif, en revanche, reste bel et bien d'actualit\u00e9. Geely vient aujourd'hui confirmer l'essor de la recharge en m\u00e9gawatts pour les voitures particuli\u00e8res. La marque, qui vient tout juste de faire ses d\u00e9buts en Europe avec le mod\u00e8le E2, exploite en Chine des bornes de recharge haute puissance d\u2019une puissance de 1 800 kW, soit 300 kW de plus que BYD. Les temps de recharge sont plus ou moins comparables : 60% de la batterie peuvent \u00eatre recharg\u00e9s en cinq minutes.<\/p>\n<h4>Configurations similaires<\/h4>\n<p>Bien s\u00fbr, il faut une voiture capable de supporter ces puissances extr\u00eames. Mais les Chinois en sont capables. La Denza 7GT, \u00e9galement disponible en Belgique, peut atteindre ce seuil de 1,5 MW. Dans le cadre d\u2019une tentative de record, une Lynk &amp; Co 10 du groupe Geely est pass\u00e9e de 10 \u00e0 70 % en 4 minutes et 22 secondes gr\u00e2ce \u00e0 la batterie \u00ab Golden Brick \u00bb de la marque, aliment\u00e9e par un r\u00e9seau de 900 volts. Pour les curieux : \u00e0 97 %, cette batterie d\u00e9livrait encore plus de 300 kW.<\/p>\n<p>Les chiffres fournis par Lynk&amp;Co ont \u00e9t\u00e9 enregistr\u00e9s sur une borne de recharge d\u2019une puissance d\u2019un m\u00e9gawatt fournie par ZeekR Power, la filiale \u00e9nerg\u00e9tique de Geely. Celle-ci est \u00e9quip\u00e9e de c\u00e2bles \u00e0 refroidissement liquide et offre une puissance de 1 300 kW. Mais l\u2019entreprise a d\u00e9j\u00e0 d\u00e9pass\u00e9 ce record avec des bornes d\u2019une puissance de 1 800 kW.<\/p>\n<p>Les stations de BYD et de Geely fonctionnent selon un principe similaire. Le r\u00e9seau \u00e9lectrique ne pouvant pas fournir directement une puissance aussi \u00e9lev\u00e9e \u00e0 chaque voiture, chaque site stocke l\u2019\u00e9nergie dans des batteries sur place et la transf\u00e8re au v\u00e9hicule \u00e0 la vitesse maximale. Des batteries tampons stockent l\u2019\u00e9nergie requise et compensent les fluctuations. C\u2019est le m\u00eame principe que celui utilis\u00e9 dans les projets pilotes europ\u00e9ens de camions MCS, \u00e0 la diff\u00e9rence que BYD et Geely l\u2019appliquent aux voitures particuli\u00e8res. Et en ce qui concerne la Chine : dans la r\u00e9alit\u00e9.<\/p>\n<h4>Malle en t\u00eate<\/h4>\n<p>C'est \u00e0 cet endroit que les pilotes belges s'approchent le plus de la vitesse \u00ab m\u00e9gawatt \u00bb : <a href=\"https:\/\/newmobility.news\/fr\/2026\/04\/02\/electra-opens-belgiums-first-1000-kw-flash-charging-station\/\">La centrale d'Electra de 1 000 kW \u00e0 Malle<\/a>, qui a permis de recharger une Xpeng G9 \u00e0 80 % en 12,5 minutes. C'est impressionnant selon les normes europ\u00e9ennes, m\u00eame si ce temps est environ trois fois plus long que celui atteint par le \u00ab Golden Brick \u00bb de Geely en Chine.<\/p>\n<p>Geely proposera-t-elle cette technologie en Europe, \u00e0 l\u2019instar de son concurrent BYD ? Le PDG britannique de Geely, Michael Yang, a d\u00e9clar\u00e9 \u00e0 Autocar : \u201c Nous sommes ambitieux, mais nous devons \u00e9galement adopter une approche plus pragmatique (\u2026) qu\u2019en Chine, car le contexte est tr\u00e8s diff\u00e9rent. Dans un premier temps, notre objectif est de permettre au plus grand nombre possible de personnes d\u2019acc\u00e9der \u00e0 la recharge gr\u00e2ce \u00e0 un chargeur mural \u00e0 domicile. Ensuite, nous nous efforcerons de commercialiser des voitures capables de se recharger \u00e0 tr\u00e8s grande vitesse, ce qui nous obligera \u00e0 importer ici des chargeurs d\u2019une puissance tr\u00e8s \u00e9lev\u00e9e en kilowatts. \u201d<\/p>\n<h4>Une forte majoration de prix ?<\/h4>\n<p>Geely souhaite donc introduire la recharge en m\u00e9gawatts en Europe, mais va prendre son mal en patience. Tout en conservant son avance, on ignore \u00e0 quel rythme BYD sera en mesure de d\u00e9ployer son r\u00e9seau sur le continent. Ici, la technologie se heurte \u00e0 un mur de contraintes li\u00e9es aux permis de construire et aux infrastructures. Il est plus facile de remporter la course \u00e0 la recharge l\u00e0 o\u00f9 le r\u00e9seau \u00e9lectrique est contr\u00f4l\u00e9 par l\u2019\u00c9tat et o\u00f9 les autorisations sont accord\u00e9es rapidement, comme en Chine.<\/p>\n<p>Enfin, le bilan \u00e9conomique pourrait ne pas justifier ce gain de confort suppl\u00e9mentaire. Les clients seront-ils pr\u00eats \u00e0 payer un surco\u00fbt consid\u00e9rable, avec des tarifs pouvant \u00eatre jusqu\u2019\u00e0 quatre fois plus \u00e9lev\u00e9s que ceux des chargeurs haute puissance actuels, pour gagner dix minutes sur leur temps d\u2019attente ?
