De nombreux enfants se rendent chaque jour \u00e0 l'\u00e9cole \u00e0 v\u00e9lo, mais leurs v\u00e9los \u2013 et c'est la faute des parents \u2013 ne sont pas toujours s\u00fbrs : il leur manque parfois des catadioptres, leurs feux sont cass\u00e9s ou leurs freins sont us\u00e9s.<\/p>\n

Pour rem\u00e9dier \u00e0 ce probl\u00e8me, l'organisme de promotion de la mobilit\u00e9 et prestataire d'assistance routi\u00e8re Touring lance \u00ab Ring Ring Bike Squad \u00bb, une offre gratuite destin\u00e9e aux \u00e9tablissements scolaires afin qu'ils puissent organiser eux-m\u00eames des contr\u00f4les techniques des v\u00e9los de leurs \u00e9l\u00e8ves.<\/p>\n

Plans de cours et v\u00e9rification des v\u00e9los<\/h4>\n

En Flandre, le v\u00e9lo est de loin le moyen de transport le plus utilis\u00e9 pour se rendre au coll\u00e8ge, avec 46%, mais de nombreux \u00e9l\u00e8ves de moins de 15 ans se rendent \u00e9galement \u00e0 l'\u00e9cole \u00e0 v\u00e9lo tous les jours de la semaine \u2013 avec ou sans accompagnement \u2013 sur des routes qui, esp\u00e9rons-le, sont s\u00fbres. Pourtant, les v\u00e9los utilis\u00e9s pour se rendre \u00e0 l'\u00e9cole ne sont pas toujours aussi s\u00fbrs les uns que les autres.<\/p>\n

Avec \u201c Ring Ring \u201d, Touring entend d\u00e9sormais s'attaquer \u00e0 ce probl\u00e8me au niveau scolaire. Les \u00e9coles qui s\u2019inscrivent gratuitement en tant que \u00ab Ring Ring School \u00bb sur touring.be recevront dans un premier temps des fiches p\u00e9dagogiques class\u00e9es par niveau scolaire (de la 1re \u00e0 la 6e, chacune adapt\u00e9e au niveau de difficult\u00e9 correspondant), une vid\u00e9o explicative sur la mani\u00e8re de v\u00e9rifier un v\u00e9lo, ainsi que du mat\u00e9riel pratique.<\/p>\n

Les supports p\u00e9dagogiques abordent des th\u00e8mes tels que les \u201c 7 points \u00e0 v\u00e9rifier pour un v\u00e9lo en toute s\u00e9curit\u00e9 \u201d (roues, freins, guidon, sonnette, feux, pneus, catadioptres) et s'appuient sur des statistiques belges sp\u00e9cifiques pour replacer la question de la s\u00e9curit\u00e9 dans son contexte.<\/p>\n

Responsabilit\u00e9 partag\u00e9e<\/h4>\n

L'\u00e9cole met ensuite sur pied sa propre \u201c Ring Ring Bike Squad \u201d : des enseignants, des parents ou des b\u00e9n\u00e9voles qui inspectent les v\u00e9los des \u00e9l\u00e8ves et que l'on reconna\u00eet \u00e0 leurs gilets et \u00e0 leurs insignes. Une fois le contr\u00f4le effectu\u00e9, chaque v\u00e9lo re\u00e7oit une \u00e9tiquette : bleue pour \u2019 en bon \u00e9tat \u201c, jaune pour \u201d n\u00e9cessite un peu d'attention \u201c.\u201d<\/p>\n

Dans le cas du code jaune, les \u00e9l\u00e8ves scannent un code QR pour obtenir plus d'informations et en discutent avec leurs parents afin de pouvoir r\u00e9parer le v\u00e9lo ensemble.<\/p>\n

Semaine de la mobilit\u00e9<\/h4>\n

Et une autre actualit\u00e9 en lien avec ce sujet : la Semaine de la mobilit\u00e9 a d\u00e9but\u00e9 hier en Belgique. Sous le slogan \u201c approuv\u00e9 par les enfants \u201d, le Fietsersbond (Union des cyclistes), en collaboration avec ses partenaires, demande que le point de vue des enfants soit v\u00e9ritablement pris en compte dans l'am\u00e9nagement de la circulation et des espaces publics, car divers obstacles \u2013 allant des pistes cyclables dangereuses aux carrefours pr\u00e9sentant un risque mortel \u2013 emp\u00eachent les enfants et les jeunes de faire du v\u00e9lo en toute autonomie.<\/p>\n
