Les salari\u00e9s du secteur automobile ont manifest\u00e9 lundi dans toute l'Allemagne, appelant les dirigeants des grandes marques, notamment Volkswagen et Mercedes-Benz, \u00e0 garantir les emplois et \u00e0 offrir des perspectives d'avenir. De leur c\u00f4t\u00e9, ces grands constructeurs allemands mettent en garde contre des fermetures d'usines ou de nouvelles r\u00e9ductions de co\u00fbts.<\/p>\n

\u201c Tout comme ici, chez Volkswagen, les salari\u00e9s des secteurs de l\u2019automobile et de la sous-traitance se rassemblent aujourd\u2019hui dans tout le pays pour faire savoir aux employeurs et aux responsables politiques qu\u2019ils en ont assez \u201d, a d\u00e9clar\u00e9 Christiane Benner, pr\u00e9sidente du puissant syndicat IG Metall, lors d\u2019un rassemblement organis\u00e9 au si\u00e8ge de Volkswagen \u00e0 Wolfsburg. \u201c Partout, la situation est en train de d\u00e9g\u00e9n\u00e9rer. \u201d<\/p>\n

Les repr\u00e9sentants des m\u00e9dias se sont vu refuser l'acc\u00e8s au site pendant la manifestation, conform\u00e9ment \u00e0 la d\u00e9cision prise la semaine derni\u00e8re par la direction, selon le comit\u00e9 d'entreprise de Volkswagen et IG Metall. Le syndicat, qui repr\u00e9sente une grande partie des salari\u00e9s de l'industrie automobile allemande, a appel\u00e9 \u00e0 manifester lundi dans plus de 200 localit\u00e9s, avec une participation attendue de plus de 100 000 personnes.<\/p>\n

Sous pression<\/h4>\n

Les constructeurs automobiles allemands subissent depuis longtemps la pression d'une concurrence chinoise croissante, tout en \u00e9tant confront\u00e9s \u00e0 la hausse des prix de l'\u00e9nergie, aux droits de douane am\u00e9ricains et \u00e0 un recul de la demande sur le march\u00e9 int\u00e9rieur. Outre Volkswagen, des marques telles que Mercedes et BMW, ainsi que des \u00e9quipementiers majeurs, dont Bosch, pr\u00e9voient \u00e9galement de supprimer des dizaines de milliers d'emplois.<\/p>\n

Volkswagen pr\u00e9voit de supprimer 100 000 emplois<\/a> au cours des prochaines ann\u00e9es, tandis que l'avenir de quatre usines allemandes<\/a> est totalement incertain. D'autres marques, comme Mercedes et BMW, pr\u00e9voient \u00e9galement des r\u00e9ductions de grande ampleur.<\/p>\n

Le dirigeant syndical a d\u00e9clar\u00e9 que les salari\u00e9s attendaient des dirigeants qu\u2019ils assument leurs responsabilit\u00e9s envers l\u2019Allemagne en tant que nation automobile, envers les salari\u00e9s et envers l\u2019emploi. M. Benner a appel\u00e9 les responsables politiques \u00e0 garantir des conditions d\u2019investissement fiables, une \u00e9nergie abordable et un soutien visant \u00e0 stimuler la production au sein de l\u2019UE.<\/p>\n

Le syndicat IG Metall a indiqu\u00e9 qu'environ 175 000 salari\u00e9s avaient particip\u00e9 \u00e0 des rassemblements organis\u00e9s dans 280 localit\u00e9s, notamment dans des p\u00f4les automobiles majeurs tels que Stuttgart, Wolfsburg, Ingolstadt et Munich.<\/p>\n

Mercedes-Benz a renforc\u00e9 ses mesures de r\u00e9duction des co\u00fbts et a annonc\u00e9 une \u201c offensive en faveur de la productivit\u00e9 en Allemagne \u201d.

\u201c Notre objectif est clairement de conserver tous nos sites allemands \u201d, a d\u00e9clar\u00e9 M. Schiebe, selon le porte-parole. \u201c Pour y parvenir, nous devons nous mettre d'accord sur des mesures acceptables pour tous afin de r\u00e9duire les co\u00fbts en Allemagne. Si nous n'y parvenons pas, nous devrons fermer un atelier de carrosserie et une usine de groupes motopropulseurs en Allemagne. \u201d<\/p>\n

Les usines de carrosserie sont des sites o\u00f9 sont assembl\u00e9es les voitures. En Allemagne, Mercedes-Benz poss\u00e8de de telles usines \u00e0 Sindelfingen, Rastatt et Br\u00eame. Les usines de groupes motopropulseurs fabriquent les composants de propulsion des voitures. \u201c Nous n\u2019avons absolument pas de temps \u00e0 perdre et nous allons donc une nouvelle fois intensifier consid\u00e9rablement notre programme de performance \u201d, a d\u00e9clar\u00e9 M. Sch\u00e4fer, alors que les salari\u00e9s de l\u2019industrie automobile allemande organisaient des manifestations dans tout le pays pour exiger des dirigeants qu\u2019ils garantissent la p\u00e9rennit\u00e9 des emplois.<\/p>\n

Au sein de la marque VW, un accord a \u00e9t\u00e9 conclu fin 2024 visant \u00e0 r\u00e9duire la surcapacit\u00e9 des sites allemands, \u00e0 diminuer les co\u00fbts de main-d'\u0153uvre et \u00e0 ramener les co\u00fbts de d\u00e9veloppement \u00e0 un niveau comp\u00e9titif.<\/p>\n

M. Sch\u00e4fer a indiqu\u00e9 qu\u2019environ 16 300 licenciements avaient \u00e9t\u00e9 finalis\u00e9s en Allemagne, sur un total d\u2019un peu moins de 28 800 convenus d\u2019ici 2030, ce qui est proche de l\u2019objectif de 35 000. Il a qualifi\u00e9 ces \u00e9volutions de \u201c progr\u00e8s encourageants \u201d, mais a averti que ces mesures \u00e9taient insuffisantes.<\/p>\n

Ce n'est pas une temp\u00eate anodine<\/h4>\n

Daniela Cavallo, pr\u00e9sidente du comit\u00e9 d'entreprise de Volkswagen, s'attend \u00e9galement \u00e0 ce que les mesures de r\u00e9duction des co\u00fbts s'intensifient encore davantage. \u201c Sur le lieu de travail, la fr\u00e9n\u00e9sie de r\u00e9duction des co\u00fbts de l\u2019entreprise va nous frapper de toutes parts dans les semaines \u00e0 venir. Encore plus qu\u2019elle ne le fait d\u00e9j\u00e0, je le crains \u201d, a d\u00e9clar\u00e9 Mme Cavallo, selon les comptes rendus des participants \u00e0 la r\u00e9union du comit\u00e9 d\u2019entreprise.<\/p>\n

\u201c Une temp\u00eate se pr\u00e9pare \u201d, a-t-elle d\u00e9clar\u00e9. \u00ab Et elle ne sera pas de faible ampleur. \u00bb Elle s'est interrog\u00e9e sur la possibilit\u00e9 de mettre en \u0153uvre les suppressions d'emplois \u00e0 grande \u00e9chelle pr\u00e9vues par le groupe d'une mani\u00e8re socialement responsable. Un dispositif de protection de l'emploi chez VW serait valable jusqu'\u00e0 fin 2030. Il serait, semble-t-il, irr\u00e9vocable. M. Cavallo a reconnu que la situation ne pouvait pas perdurer en l'\u00e9tat, admettant que la rentabilit\u00e9 de l'entreprise avait en grande partie disparu alors que l'industrie automobile europ\u00e9enne subit une restructuration massive.<\/p>\n

\u201c Les fabricants de longue date seront laiss\u00e9s pour compte. D\u2019autres devront fusionner. Et d\u2019autres encore devront nouer des alliances qu\u2019ils n\u2019auraient jamais envisag\u00e9es par le pass\u00e9 \u201d, a-t-elle d\u00e9clar\u00e9. La question n\u2019est pas de savoir si de nouvelles charges p\u00e8seront sur les salari\u00e9s, mais simplement comment les r\u00e9partir \u00e9quitablement et \u00e9viter que la situation ne devienne injustement d\u00e9favorable au personnel.<\/p>\n
