Une nouvelle marque chinoise de v\u00e9hicules \u00e9lectriques vient de faire son apparition sur le march\u00e9 europ\u00e9en, mais cette toute jeune marque, AIVA, b\u00e9n\u00e9ficie du soutien de parents particuli\u00e8rement influents.<\/p>\n

La marque, soutenue par Seres et le g\u00e9ant des batteries CATL, a choisi Paris pour pr\u00e9senter en avant-premi\u00e8re mondiale son premier mod\u00e8le de s\u00e9rie, la ME7. Les ventes en Europe n'ont toutefois pas encore \u00e9t\u00e9 confirm\u00e9es.<\/p>\n

AIVA a \u00e9t\u00e9 cr\u00e9\u00e9e en juin 2026 par Chongqing Saidou Technology, anciennement Landian Technology. Seres d\u00e9tient pr\u00e8s de 33% de la soci\u00e9t\u00e9, tandis que CATL en d\u00e9tient environ 10%. Cette alliance permet \u00e0 cette nouvelle entreprise d\u2019acc\u00e9der \u00e0 l\u2019expertise de Seres en mati\u00e8re de fabrication et de d\u00e9veloppement de v\u00e9hicules, ainsi qu\u2019\u00e0 la technologie de batteries de CATL.<\/p>\n

Un troisi\u00e8me partenaire de poids n'appartient pas au secteur automobile traditionnel. Volcengine, la division \u00ab cloud \u00bb et \u00ab IA \u00bb de ByteDance, la soci\u00e9t\u00e9 m\u00e8re de TikTok, fournit la technologie d'intelligence artificielle pour le v\u00e9hicule, tandis que DeepRoute, sp\u00e9cialiste chinois de la conduite autonome, serait impliqu\u00e9 dans les syst\u00e8mes d'aide \u00e0 la conduite.<\/p>\n

Une voiture de s\u00e9rie, pas seulement un concept-car<\/h4>\n

AIVA avait d\u00e9j\u00e0 d\u00e9voil\u00e9 son concept Origin plus t\u00f4t cette ann\u00e9e, mais le mod\u00e8le pr\u00e9sent\u00e9 \u00e0 Paris est la ME7 de s\u00e9rie. Ce crossover cinq portes mesure 4,85 m\u00e8tres de long et dispose d\u2019un empattement de 2,90 m\u00e8tres, ce qui le place clairement dans la m\u00eame cat\u00e9gorie que des mod\u00e8les tels que la Tesla Model Y, l\u2019XPeng G6, la BYD Sealion 7 et la Polestar 4.<\/p>\n

Avec sa ligne de toit basse et son aileron arri\u00e8re prononc\u00e9, la ME7 s'apparente davantage \u00e0 un SUV-coup\u00e9 qu'\u00e0 un SUV familial classique. Parmi ses caract\u00e9ristiques les plus originales, on trouve des phares avant interactifs de type \u00ab pixel \u00bb capables d'afficher diff\u00e9rents motifs et de r\u00e9agir aux gestes.<\/p>\n

Selon AIVA, la ME7 sera propos\u00e9e \u00e0 la fois en version enti\u00e8rement \u00e9lectrique et avec un groupe motopropulseur \u00e0 prolongateur d'autonomie. Des prototypes de d\u00e9veloppement ont \u00e9galement \u00e9t\u00e9 aper\u00e7us \u00e9quip\u00e9s d'un lidar mont\u00e9 sur le toit.<\/p>\n

Les sp\u00e9cifications techniques restent \u00e9tonnamment rares. AIVA n'a pas encore publi\u00e9 de donn\u00e9es confirm\u00e9es concernant la capacit\u00e9 des batteries, la puissance des moteurs, les performances d'acc\u00e9l\u00e9ration, les vitesses de recharge ou les autonomies.<\/p>\n

Des informations chinoises pr\u00e9c\u00e9dentes faisaient le lien entre la ME7 et la toute derni\u00e8re technologie de remplacement de batterie de CATL, notamment un bloc-batterie de 75 kWh fonctionnant \u00e0 800 volts. Cela n\u2019a toutefois pas encore \u00e9t\u00e9 confirm\u00e9 pour le v\u00e9hicule de s\u00e9rie et doit donc \u00eatre pris avec prudence.<\/p>\n

L'avenir de l'Europe reste une question en suspens<\/h4>\n

Le choix de la Fashion Week de Paris pour la pr\u00e9sentation mondiale t\u00e9moigne clairement de ses ambitions internationales. AIVA a \u00e9galement fait savoir qu\u2019elle comptait commercialiser ses v\u00e9hicules hors de Chine, mais aucune date de lancement en Europe, aucun calendrier d\u2019homologation ni aucun r\u00e9seau de distribution n\u2019ont pour l\u2019instant \u00e9t\u00e9 annonc\u00e9s.<\/p>\n

Il n'y a pour l'instant aucun projet confirm\u00e9 concernant l'AIVA en Belgique ou aux Pays-Bas. Seres dispose d\u00e9j\u00e0 d'une pr\u00e9sence modeste sur ces deux march\u00e9s : le mod\u00e8le Seres 3 est commercialis\u00e9 par des concessionnaires en Belgique, tandis qu'Astara repr\u00e9sente la marque aux Pays-Bas.<\/p>\n

Cela pourrait potentiellement offrir \u00e0 AIVA un acc\u00e8s direct au march\u00e9, m\u00eame si AIVA se positionne comme une marque ind\u00e9pendante et n'a pas pr\u00e9cis\u00e9 si elle comptait utiliser les canaux de distribution europ\u00e9ens actuels de Seres.<\/p>\n

La question des prix reste tout aussi floue. AIVA a d\u00e9j\u00e0 indiqu\u00e9 que ses mod\u00e8les cibleraient le march\u00e9 chinois \u00e0 partir de 200 000 yuans, soit environ 24 000 euros hors taxes et hors frais d'importation en Europe. Ce chiffre ne doit pas \u00eatre interpr\u00e9t\u00e9 comme le prix pr\u00e9vu pour le march\u00e9 europ\u00e9en.<\/p>\n

Si la ME7 finit par arriver sur notre march\u00e9, la concurrence sera rude. La Tesla Model Y reste la r\u00e9f\u00e9rence incontestable, tandis que les concurrentes chinoises, notamment la XPeng G6, la BYD Sealion 7 et la Zeekr 7X, allient d\u00e9j\u00e0 des prix comp\u00e9titifs \u00e0 une grande autonomie et une recharge tr\u00e8s rapide.
