Apr\u00e8s les motorisations hybrides l\u00e9g\u00e8res et hybrides rechargeables, Skoda ajoute d\u00e9sormais deux versions \u2018 hybrides compl\u00e8tes \u2019 \u00e0 sa gamme Octavia. C'est une premi\u00e8re pour Skoda et cela reste encore une raret\u00e9 au sein du groupe Volkswagen, m\u00eame si cela devrait probablement changer.<\/p>\n

Depuis son lancement en 1996, il y a exactement 30 ans, la Skoda Octavia est propos\u00e9e avec une large gamme de motorisations. Des moteurs essence et diesel classiques aux versions hybrides l\u00e9g\u00e8res et rechargeables, en passant m\u00eame par une version G-Tec fonctionnant au GNC.<\/p>\n

Skoda ajoute d\u00e9sormais un mod\u00e8le \u2018 hybride complet \u2019 \u00e0 la gamme Octavia, une premi\u00e8re pour la marque. Ce nouveau groupe motopropulseur est disponible aussi bien sur la version 4 portes \u2018 Limo \u2019 que sur la version break \u2018 Combi \u2019. Les premiers mod\u00e8les Octavia hybrides sortiront de la cha\u00eene de production en d\u00e9cembre 2026.<\/p>\n

Deux niveaux de puissance<\/b><\/h4>\n

L'Octavia Hybrid est propos\u00e9e au lancement avec deux niveaux de puissance : 100 kW (136 ch) ou 125 kW (170 ch). Les deux versions s'appuient sur le moteur essence 1,5 TSI evo2 (d'une puissance nominale de 96 kW ou 110 kW) et y ajoutent deux moteurs \u00e9lectriques.<\/p>\n

Le moteur le plus petit sert principalement de g\u00e9n\u00e9rateur, tout en assurant le d\u00e9marrage du moteur \u00e0 combustion. Le moteur de traction, plus puissant, entra\u00eene les roues avant et r\u00e9cup\u00e8re de l'\u00e9nergie lors du freinage. Une batterie NMC de 1,6 kWh stocke l'\u00e9nergie et alimente le moteur de traction.<\/p>\n

L'Octavia dispose de deux modes de conduite. En mode s\u00e9rie, elle peut rouler enti\u00e8rement en mode \u00e9lectrique sans utiliser le moteur \u00e0 essence. L'autonomie \u00e9lectrique sera toutefois limit\u00e9e, compte tenu de la batterie de 1,6 kWh et de l'\u00e9tat de charge qui est automatiquement maintenu entre 40% et 90%.<\/p>\n

L'Octavia peut toutefois rouler en mode enti\u00e8rement \u00e9lectrique jusqu'\u00e0 60 km\/h. Cela s'av\u00e8re pratique pour la conduite en ville ou dans les embouteillages, par exemple.<\/p>\n

\u00c0 vitesse \u00e9lev\u00e9e, l'Octavia hybride fonctionne en mode parall\u00e8le. Le moteur \u00e0 essence entra\u00eene les roues avant, tandis que le moteur \u00e9lectrique apporte son aide via un embrayage automatis\u00e9 et un rapport de transmission fixe, ce qui permet de r\u00e9duire la consommation de carburant fossile.<\/p>\n

Lors des d\u00e9c\u00e9l\u00e9rations ou des freinages, le syst\u00e8me r\u00e9cup\u00e8re l'\u00e9nergie et la stocke dans la batterie en vue d'une utilisation ult\u00e9rieure. L'ensemble du processus est automatique et ne n\u00e9cessite aucune recharge externe de la batterie.<\/p>\n

D\u00e9ploiement \u00e0 plus grande \u00e9chelle<\/b><\/h4>\n

Une option hybride \u2018 sans fil \u2019 incite \u00e0 opter pour un \u2018 juste milieu \u2019 en mati\u00e8re d'\u00e9lectrification. La technologie hybride l\u00e9g\u00e8re n'a qu'un impact limit\u00e9 sur la consommation de carburant et les \u00e9missions.<\/p>\n

Et bien qu'un groupe motopropulseur hybride rechargeable consomme moins de carburant lorsqu'il est recharg\u00e9 fr\u00e9quemment, tous les acheteurs n'ont pas acc\u00e8s \u00e0 une borne de recharge ou ne sont pas dispos\u00e9s \u00e0 recharger leur v\u00e9hicule r\u00e9guli\u00e8rement. La batterie plus volumineuse d'un PHEV entra\u00eene \u00e9galement un surcro\u00eet de poids et de co\u00fbt.<\/p>\n

Les autres constructeurs automobiles proposaient g\u00e9n\u00e9ralement un mod\u00e8le hybride classique avant de se lancer dans l'hybride rechargeable. Mais au sein du groupe Volkswagen, dont Skoda fait partie, ce type de motorisation \u00e9tait jusqu'\u00e0 pr\u00e9sent tr\u00e8s rare. La VW Golf et la T-Roc ont \u00e9t\u00e9 les premi\u00e8res \u00e0 adopter cette motorisation.<\/p>\n

L'ajout d'une motorisation hybride \u00e0 l'Octavia peut \u00eatre consid\u00e9r\u00e9 comme un moyen de r\u00e9duire encore davantage les \u00e9missions mondiales de CO2<\/sub> \u00e9missions de la marque et du groupe VW dans son ensemble.
