Lepas, une marque du groupe chinois Chery, a d\u00e9voil\u00e9 l'Aura. Ce \u201c shooting brake \u201d est le \u00ab premier concept-car mondial \u00bb de la marque et servira de source d'inspiration pour le design de ses futurs mod\u00e8les.<\/p>\n

Chery n'est peut-\u00eatre pas encore aussi connue des clients europ\u00e9ens que des marques telles que BYD ou MG. Mais gr\u00e2ce \u00e0 l'essor fulgurant des ventes de ses marques Jaecoo et Omoda, elle figure parmi les groupes automobiles chinois les plus vendus en Europe.<\/p>\n

La domination mondiale<\/b><\/h4>\n

Chery est d\u00e9j\u00e0 pr\u00e9sent sur le march\u00e9 dans d'autres pays europ\u00e9ens sous sa propre marque. Le constructeur pr\u00e9voit de faire son entr\u00e9e sur le march\u00e9 belge, en commen\u00e7ant par le Tiggo 7 Hybrid.<\/p>\n

Avec ses autres marques, le groupe affiche des r\u00e9sultats relativement satisfaisants en Belgique. Selon les chiffres de la Febiac, 1 853 mod\u00e8les Jaecoo ont \u00e9t\u00e9 immatricul\u00e9s dans le pays au cours des neuf premiers mois de 2026, ainsi que 1 376 Omodas. Cela correspond \u00e0 des parts de march\u00e9 de 0,58% et 0,43%, respectivement.<\/p>\n

Le Royaume-Uni est un march\u00e9 majeur pour le groupe, et avec un nombre pr\u00e9liminaire d'immatriculations europ\u00e9ennes s'\u00e9levant \u00e0 56 552 unit\u00e9s toutes marques confondues en septembre 2026, Chery conna\u00eet une croissance rapide sur tout le continent. Mais Chery ne s'arr\u00eate pas l\u00e0. L'ann\u00e9e derni\u00e8re, le quatri\u00e8me constructeur automobile chinois a pr\u00e9sent\u00e9 ses projets visant \u00e0 devenir le premier groupe chinois au niveau mondial, gr\u00e2ce \u00e0 une avalanche de nouveaux mod\u00e8les et de nouvelles marques.<\/p>\n

Parmi les nouvelles marques, on trouve Luxeed, fruit d'une collaboration avec Huawei, et Lepas.<\/span>\u00a0<\/span>Lepas est d\u00e9j\u00e0 pr\u00e9sent en Europe, principalement sur le march\u00e9 britannique. Les clients peuvent y choisir parmi trois mod\u00e8les de SUV : le petit L4 \u00e9lectrique, le L6 de taille moyenne, disponible en version \u00e9lectrique ou hybride rechargeable, et le L8 hybride rechargeable, plus spacieux. Il ne s'agit pas d'un SUV, mais d'un s\u00e9duisant \u00ab shooting brake \u00bb. Ce mod\u00e8le incarne la toute derni\u00e8re \u00e9volution du langage stylistique \u00ab Leopard Aesthetics \u00bb de la marque. C'est Ivan Dulanovi\u0107, designer en chef de Lepas, n\u00e9 en Serbie et form\u00e9 \u00e0 Milan, ancien directeur du design chez Italdesign, qui l'a pr\u00e9sent\u00e9.<\/p>\n

Comme c'est souvent le cas avec les concepts de design, le communiqu\u00e9 de presse de Lepas recourt \u00e0 un langage tr\u00e8s grandiloquent pour d\u00e9crire la philosophie qui sous-tend ce design. On y trouve notamment des expressions telles que \u2019 des proportions inspir\u00e9es du l\u00e9opard, des surfaces fluides et un \u00e9clairage expressif \u201c, ainsi qu'un design qui \u201d incarne l'\u00e9l\u00e9gance, l'assurance et le myst\u00e8re \u201c.<\/p>\n

L'Aura a tout simplement fi\u00e8re allure. Son design \u00e9pur\u00e9 de \u00ab shooting brake \u00bb \u00e0 deux portes, avec un empattement long et des porte-\u00e0-faux courts, apporte un changement bienvenu par rapport aux SUV habituels. Il est int\u00e9ressant de noter que la surface noire arrondie de la calandre, qui rappelle celle d'une Aston Martin, est en r\u00e9alit\u00e9 un \u00e9cran. Elle peut afficher des graphiques, des jeux de lumi\u00e8re et des animations, tout comme les feux arri\u00e8re elliptiques.<\/p>\n

Est-ce que Lepas va vraiment le produire ?<\/b><\/h4>\n

Pour l'instant, l'Aura n'est qu'un concept de design, et il n'est pas pr\u00e9vu d'en commercialiser une version de s\u00e9rie. Mais M. Dulanovi\u0107 a d\u00e9clar\u00e9 que ce concept inspirerait les futurs designs de Lepas.<\/p>\n

Certains \u00e9l\u00e9ments int\u00e9ressants de ce concept pourraient \u00eatre repris sur les futurs mod\u00e8les de s\u00e9rie. \u201c La nouvelle calandre et la signature lumineuse seront toutes deux reprises sur les futurs mod\u00e8les Lepas, ce qui permettra d\u2019instaurer un langage stylistique coh\u00e9rent \u00e0 l\u2019\u00e9chelle de la marque \u201d, a d\u00e9clar\u00e9 M.
