La SNCF a d\u00fb attendre deux ans et demi de plus que pr\u00e9vu, mais le voyage inaugural du nouveau TGV M, fabriqu\u00e9 par Alstom, a enfin eu lieu aujourd\u2019hui.<\/p>\n

Dans un premier temps, ces trains seront progressivement int\u00e9gr\u00e9s \u00e0 l'horaire de la ligne reliant la Garde de Lyon \u00e0 Marseille. Ils seront ensuite \u00e9galement mis en service sur les liaisons entre la France et la Belgique.<\/p>\n

Le TGV M, connu chez Alstom sous le nom d\u2019Avelia Horizon, est consid\u00e9r\u00e9 \u2013 tout comme son pr\u00e9d\u00e9cesseur, le Duplex \u2013 comme le seul train \u00e0 deux niveaux au monde capable d\u2019atteindre une vitesse de 320 km\/h. Toutefois, ses principaux atouts r\u00e9sident dans sa capacit\u00e9 et son rendement \u00e9nerg\u00e9tique, et non dans la dur\u00e9e du trajet, qui restera d'environ 3 heures entre Paris et Marseille.<\/p>\n

Retard important : une histoire qui n'est plus une surprise<\/h4>\n

La SNCF a command\u00e9 160 TGV M, soit une commande de 5 milliards d'euros, mais la livraison des premiers trains accuse un retard consid\u00e9rable. Ces nouveaux trains devaient initialement \u00eatre pr\u00eats pour les Jeux olympiques de Paris en 2024. La date de mise en service avait ensuite \u00e9t\u00e9 fix\u00e9e \u00e0 2025, mais elle a finalement \u00e9t\u00e9 report\u00e9e une nouvelle fois \u00e0 2026.<\/p>\n

Ce retard s'explique par plusieurs facteurs. Il y a notamment eu des probl\u00e8mes techniques lors des essais du nouveau syst\u00e8me de batteries, ainsi que des vibrations dans la cabine. Le TCMS, le syst\u00e8me de contr\u00f4le et de gestion du train, aurait \u00e9galement pr\u00e9sent\u00e9 des probl\u00e8mes de fiabilit\u00e9.<\/p>\n

Ces complications techniques, associ\u00e9es \u00e0 l'ampleur des essais requis pour l'homologation, ont fait que le train n'a obtenu l'autorisation de mise sur le march\u00e9 europ\u00e9en qu'en mai de cette ann\u00e9e.<\/p>\n

Par ailleurs, on a \u00e9galement constat\u00e9 des retards industriels habituels li\u00e9s \u00e0 la pand\u00e9mie de COVID-19. Cependant, Alstom a r\u00e9cemment je me suis attel\u00e9 \u00e0 plusieurs projets<\/a> qui accusent un retard par rapport au calendrier pr\u00e9vu et dont les co\u00fbts d\u00e9passent les pr\u00e9visions \u2013 c\u2019est pourquoi le nouveau PDG, Martin Sion, souhaite proc\u00e9der \u00e0 un examen approfondi des mod\u00e8les organisationnels et op\u00e9rationnels, ainsi qu\u2019\u00e0 une \u00e9valuation du portefeuille de projets et de l\u2019empreinte industrielle de l\u2019entreprise.<\/p>\n

Une conception plus compacte et une consommation d'\u00e9nergie r\u00e9duite<\/h4>\n

Le TGV M \u2013 la SNCF a choisi la lettre \u201c M \u201d pour souligner sa modularit\u00e9, notamment la s\u00e9paration entre la 1re et la 2e classe \u2013 repose globalement sur le m\u00eame concept que le TGV Duplex, son pr\u00e9d\u00e9cesseur, avec des voitures \u00e0 deux niveaux et une motrice \u00e0 chaque extr\u00e9mit\u00e9.<\/p>\n

Ce qui a chang\u00e9, par exemple, c'est le design : les voitures sont d\u00e9sormais plus compactes (4 m\u00e8tres de moins que celles du Duplex, ce qui permet d'en aligner 9 sur la m\u00eame longueur au lieu de 8) et leur silhouette est plus \u00e9pur\u00e9e.<\/p>\n

Ce nouveau train offre \u00e9galement une plus grande capacit\u00e9, avec 573 places assises contre 500 actuellement. Autre point notable : sa consommation d'\u00e9nergie est r\u00e9duite de 20 % gr\u00e2ce \u00e0 un syst\u00e8me de propulsion plus compact et plus silencieux, au freinage r\u00e9g\u00e9n\u00e9ratif et \u00e0 une a\u00e9rodynamique am\u00e9lior\u00e9e \u2013 notamment gr\u00e2ce \u00e0 la forme de plus en plus profil\u00e9e de l'avant du train. Les \u00e9missions de CO\u2082 sont r\u00e9duites de 32 %.<\/p>\n

L'une des innovations les plus importantes concerne les batteries, fabriqu\u00e9es par Saft. Elles permettent au train de fonctionner ind\u00e9pendamment du r\u00e9seau \u00e9lectrique en cas de panne de la cat\u00e9naire ou de coupure de courant. Cela garantit le maintien de l'\u00e9clairage et de la climatisation, et permet au train d'atteindre une gare par ses propres moyens.<\/p>\n

D'autres innovations mettent l'accent sur le confort et l'accessibilit\u00e9. L'\u00e9clairage s'adapte \u00e0 la lumi\u00e8re naturelle \u00e0 l'int\u00e9rieur des voitures. Et les personnes en fauteuil roulant peuvent monter \u00e0 bord sans aide, m\u00eame si le personnel restera \u00e0 leur disposition.<\/p>\n

Il semblerait que ce soit \u00e9galement le premier TGV con\u00e7u d\u00e8s le d\u00e9part pour la 5G, m\u00eame si cela d\u00e9pend aussi de la couverture 5G le long des voies, qui n'est pas encore compl\u00e8te dans de nombreuses r\u00e9gions.<\/p>\n

D'un point de vue \u00e9conomique, les 25 000 points de donn\u00e9es analys\u00e9s en temps r\u00e9el permettent une maintenance pr\u00e9dictive. Cela r\u00e9duit les temps d'arr\u00eat dans l'atelier et diminue les co\u00fbts de maintenance de 30 %.<\/p>\n

Ce train est compos\u00e9 \u00e0 25 % de mat\u00e9riaux recycl\u00e9s et est recyclable \u00e0 97 %.<\/p>\n

SNCF contre Trenitalia<\/h4>\n

Les nouvelles rames remplaceront progressivement le parc actuel \u2013 dont les plus anciennes datent des ann\u00e9es 1990 \u2013 sur une p\u00e9riode d\u2019environ 10 ans. 100 sont destin\u00e9s au march\u00e9 fran\u00e7ais, 15 aux liaisons entre la France et la Belgique, 30 au r\u00e9seau Eurostar et environ 15 au march\u00e9 italien, o\u00f9 la SNCF pr\u00e9voit de se d\u00e9velopper, \u00e0 commencer par la ligne Paris-Milan.<\/p>\n

Les premiers trajets commerciaux du nouveau TGV M, exploit\u00e9s sous la marque TGV INOUI, d\u00e9buteront lundi sur l'axe Paris-Lyon-Marseille. Le choix de cet axe n'est pas le fruit du hasard : Trenitalia est d\u00e9j\u00e0 en concurrence avec la SNCF sur cette ligne.<\/p>\n

Dans un premier temps, il y aura un aller-retour par jour assur\u00e9 par deux trains coupl\u00e9s, offrant un total de 1 240 places.<\/p>\n

En r\u00e8gle g\u00e9n\u00e9rale, si vous \u00eates flexible quant \u00e0 votre heure de d\u00e9part et que vous recherchez le prix le plus bas, il est pr\u00e9f\u00e9rable de consulter d\u2019abord Trenitalia. Si vous devez partir \u00e0 une heure pr\u00e9cise, si vous souhaitez arriver le plus rapidement possible ou si vous voulez \u00e9viter une correspondance, optez pour la SNCF.<\/p>\n
